So, it's been too long since I've done one of these. Here's another week in review for the NSFL.

Hmm it was ok I suppose....I came into it feeling like it should have been better than your last one with real game weeks going on and less backend of the offseason stuff, but it wasn't and the last 15ish minutes were pretty rough. Overall not bad, but kind of a let down

Great podcast as always, but I felt obligated to follow up on your take about the punishment that I received.
I know that my laziness is a big part of why I was punished and I also branded my appeal to the HO and centered my argument over laziness, but I also want to raise a fact to you and to anyone else reading this.
The total TPE that I benefitted off of was 8 (around there). This TPE was double claimed back in late July early August, so around the end of season 8 beginning of season 9. The next time I double claimed was on September 29th where I received my first warning and my first heads up that I was even benefitting off of double claimed TPE. So I accepted and told them that I’d be more cautious with my updates. However, I again slipped up and they let me know. Two weeks pass and I feel like I set up my claims well, until I accidentally purchase an extra ETAP which sounds stupid I know, but it happened.
You have to remember that throughout all of this, I never benefitted once from the double claimed TPE. The claimed TPE was docked, and never even reported to the system. That was the end of it.
So essentially, I’m being punished for giving the updaters an inconvenience, and benefitting off of 8 TPE which went on for about 2 months without me ever noticing it. So I hope you can see where I’m coming from in saying that this punishment is simply too harsh.
And a note on the punishment, the 16 TPE wasn’t including the double claimed TPE. That TPE was already docked and again never inputted into the system. This is 8 TPE that I paid for and an extra 8 TPE thrown in for whatever reason. Plus 6m.
Anyways, I’d love to maybe hop on a podcast and maybe even discuss this more with you if you want. I’m not exactly an exciting person though, so a podcast with me would probably be a bit boring but it’s whatever.

Man, I’d be lying if I said I was overal proud of that one. I if I could do it again I’d have waited until tonight to do it and made sure to go over my talking points better.
At the end of the day, I like having another person in there who’s evergybi can feed off of. I do these solos as a way to get content out like written media, but the real passion comes from interacting with other players in the league.

Yeah for sure having another person there always helps. You also only really had two talking points really (3 but you kinda just skimmed the games) which in itself kind of makes it hard to talk for so long without beating each topic too dead, at least with topics that aren't super dense and have a lot of unpacking to do.
Overall not trying to knock it as it definitely takes work and you do a good job putting these out, just a couple thoughts I had after listening to this one.

Honestly, I’ve been feeling like mixing up how I do this for a little while now, which is why I decided to give one more try to this format. The first one went over pretty well, but I had a lot more to work with. This one fell pretty flat. I’ve been toying with doing game reviews at the end of the week and then doing like mini 10-15 minute episodics as incidents within the league pop up. And then 1 hour interview specials a couple of times per season. Then like draft and ultimus specials, maybe a DSFL special once or twice a season.
Really just need to get back in the flow.

I think this is the first podcast I’ve done sober, and it’s arguably the worst one.
