Seriously, we're coming up on almost a month since we've had an actual sim. Offseasons shouldn't be this long. It'd make everything better if we just scrapped preseason entirely. There is literally no point to it and we shouldn't dedicate an entire week to it. GMs don't put in DCs most of the time and their actual strats are never used.

Offseason started before thanksgiving. Ending as many people are bombarded by exams.
Preseason is vital for making sure players all have correct attributes and are on correct teams. Without preseason, one of our players (Fresh Booter) would’ve played a regular season game at 1 speed (cause the sim is crazy)

You have to give the simmers a break since it's quite a mundane and grueling task to sim/stream an entire season. It's also not a fun or easy task to do and requires a lot of patience with the sim to make sure each team is correctly inputted and all player values are accurate. That takes time and preseason gives us the opportunity to make sure that we can correct mistakes before the regular season.
We could have a quicker turnaround time if we had a dedicated and committed team of simmers/streamers but right now it's only TC and To1 handling it for both leagues and it's not easy for one person to bear all that responsibility without giving them some sort of break. They have lives too and we need to acknowledge that they probably don't want to be simming/streaming non-stop especially around the holiday season where people are traveling or meeting friends and family.

Yeah, and with just 1 speed, he wouldn't gain ANY yards after dropping the pass.

I do think the off-season could be a little shorter, but I also think that there needs to be more time before the draft/awards for selfish reasons.

All the reasons listed above are legit. Believe me, I used to be in this camp and then I became a GM. And let me tell you, testing sucks balls. Its good to have a break.

I think we should try to have some event over the offseason that doesn't require infinite or a simmer. Some possibilities could be an old-school PBP of the Pro Bowl, or maybe a media/graphics contest, just something to have going on.

Boi if you only saw how much the sim jacks up rosters and players during the offseason you’d know why we need preseason to be sure we catch mistakes lol
I agree though this offseason has been abnormally long, which is normal due to the holidays

I think that's a great idea! I know it hasn't been consistent in the past, but I'm going to try to make the Prospect Bowl a recurring game to highlight new rookies. I think if we plan out a few things it can give people something to look forward to in the off-season.
