Buttersquanch Second Offense Tampering Punishment - manicmav36 - 10-18-2019
We recently received a complaint regarding user Buttersquanch tampering a player currently under contract. After reviewing the evidence, the Head Office voted unanimously (5-0) that Buttersquanch did, in fact, try to convince a player to request a trade. Buttersquanch heavily suggested that his team would be interested, going so far as to tell that player that he would even mention it to his GM. For this reason, we have levied the following punishment toward Buttersquanch:
- 3 year (S18-S20) ban from all league jobs (including GM), will be immediately removed from all currently jobs
- 2 week forum ban (10/20-11/3)
We do not have a precedent for a second offense tampering punishment, as it had never previously occurred. However, because this was his second offense and it was within such a short time frame, we felt it necessary to greatly increase his previous punishment. The forum ban is primarily in place due to this being his third rule infraction in less than a month.
As always, if Buttersquach wishes to appeal this decision, he can contact the appeals board head, iamslm22, to present his case.
