As we reach the conclusion of our silver anniversary season, the Hall of Fame Committee is proud to present to you a special project we have been working on to honor and recognize the most talented players throughout our league's history. With such a large and diverse player base to work from, it took the committee weeks to narrow down to our top choices at each position, and even then we couldn't make up our minds enough - so we decided to go with a FIRST and SECOND team.

To be considered for the team, the committee looked over a variety of qualifications including but not limited to - career statistics, per game statistics, award and Pro Bowl recognition, championships, and impact on the league as a whole. While I'm sure that there will be disagreements about our selections, we feel confident that we have honored many of the best players this league has seen grace its turf.

The roster make-up is as follows:

  • 2 Punt Returners

We have taken great care to try and balance the early eras of the league with the modern eras of the league, and while we may have some shown some bias towards older players, we believe this is appropriate given the historical importance and statistical records they have set which still stand to this day.
