*Brice Boggs presser - Daybe - 08-06-2017 (893 words) (Ready for grading) Following an impressive week 4 performance for the S3 rookie out of Florida, Brice Boggs has decided to open up to the media. He is open to any questions of any kind ahead of the week 5 matchup against the Outlaws coming up. Whatare you doing right and/or what is the rest of the defense doing wrong? Honestly I feel like the type of player I created is just the right build to be successful in the NSFL. I wanted to focus on key attributes that are key for an outside linebacker, such as speed, tackling ability, and pass rushing ability. Although with my current build, I feel like I would be a great fit at safety, maybe an even better fit. Who knows. I don't think the rest of the Yellowknife linebacking core is doing anything wrong, I just believe that I'm performing with a chip on my shoulder, like I need to earn my place on the team as a waiver wire claim. I think being on a team that runs a 3-4 is very helpful to my success. While it means I might not get as many sacks, it helps me get more tackles, and trying to win a game with poor tackling is nearly impossible. Also, in its current state, I do believe the NSFL is deeper at LB than it is at DT. Plus, we have a great fit at NT in @bovovovo who is a powerful run stuffer up front. While I would be fine playing for a team that runs a 4-3, by personal preference I'd like a 3-4. Honestly I don't think so. Our team has plenty of talented tacklers, and I think that because I'm not as talented as other players yet, I will get surpassed eventually. Team players are extremely valuable in the development of other younger players and should be valued higher over individual players. I'm confident that the Wraiths are a lock for the playoffs. They're extremely talented on both sides of the ball, and have the firepower to win, especially on offense. Led by an elite quarterback and elite running back duo in Chris Orosz and Bubba Nuck, the Wraiths have plenty of gems on offense, also including star wide receiver, Josh Garden, league best tight end, Ricky Maddox, and two stars on the offensive line, Mat Akelsen and Jogn Floggity. While their defense is not as impressive, it's a young team, led by a core of S2 rookies. If we do make it (I'm sure we will) I believe there is a solid chance the Wraiths win the Ultimus. While their defense is not as impressive as the likes of their rivals, the Colorado Yeti, if the Wraiths are playing the NSFC championship at home, I do expect a win. Who knows from there? It's hard to predict the ASFC as of right now due to the Sabercats surge. I believe that the most important stat for a linebacker is tackling, sacks are a lot harder to get, and I believe a 100 tackle player is more valuable than a 10 sack player. While those two other attributes are also extremely important for my position, I believe that tackling takes priority. Gatorade. Nothing beats a tall bottle of plain grape Gatorade. I am hoping that my first sponsorship deal will come with Gatorade. Definitely week 4 against the Las Vegas Legion, where I recorded a stat line of: 11 tackles 2 tackles for a loss 1 interception (returned to the 1 yard line) I feel like I was locked in that game, and after that loss to the Yeti I had to come back the hardest. Which I hopefully did, because the game ended well for both myself and the Wraiths. Goddamn it Las Vegas. Berc deserved that being a pick six. When your QBR is under 60, you know things like that are gonna happen. And when you sign a fat contract in the offseason, you better damn perform. For one, a hot dog only has one bun, while a sandwich has two loaves of bread. I know about this damn well. The ESPN doesn't broadcast sandwich eating competitions every single year. You don't see ballpark vendors walking around yelling, "Get your sandwiches here! Get your sandwiches here!" No. These two will never be the same. Featuring songs like "Now I do what I want", "MAAD City", and plenty more. I also drink my pregame milkshake, which includes various fruits and vegetables and plenty of protein. Kevin and the other linebackers are afraid of it for some reason, though. It might be the color. I also drink a 32 ounce bottle of coke If you mean by first thing once the game ends, I go out onto the field to shake the other team's hands. If you mean by first thing once I get into the locker, I throw off my shoulder pads and everything else and take a shower, followed by an ice bath. If you mean by first thing once I'm out of the locker room, I go to KFC and get an entire bucket for myself. Finger lickin' good, but still not as good as Ricky's. Mario Kart because I know how to play it.
