*WR prospect considering switching to CB? - kcheng686 - 09-01-2017
Samuel Zhang is one of the top 5 WR prospects in the S3 draft, but its seems teams have been more interested in his defensive abilities than his route-running.
It has been reported that there have been "multiple teams" that have inquired about the WR prospect possibly switching to playing CB or FS after being drafted. The teams have considered his speed, size, and hands a great combination for a corner, and they believe that he would be more valuable as a #2 or #3 CB than a #3 WR.
When questioned, Zhang had this to say.
"Yes, there have been some inquiries about me playing as a corner instead. I just want to say that I am entirely willing to make the switch and do what Richard Sherman did, but I would still mostly prefer to be a wide receiver if possible. That's what I have played my whole life, and it's what I'm most comfortable with."
With the draft so close, we wish Zhang the best of luck, no matter what position he ends up playing.

Man I say do you, don't switch positions. There are plenty of teams that could use at least a third wideout, and if you're gonna be active you'll just keep getting better.

I know. But I'm fine with playing CB for a season or 2.
Plus its not like I cant change positons mid-season, right?

- One (1) time per career a player may choose to switch positions. If a player chooses to switch to a new position they must have their GM post in the NSFL GM area that the player is officially changing positions.
- If a player chooses to switch positions they, or the team (from the teams salary cap) must pay $4,000,000 to make the switch.
- If a player changes positions they will be allowed to move 50% of their total TPE to new attributes. No attribute may go over the maximum value allowed with the new build, even if it was above it before the position switch.

True! If you still remain a wideout who plays corner that's great! I thought you were considering switching completely to corner.

You can only change your players position once during your career. However you can be lined up anywhere on the field despite your player's "official" position.
