I'll start it with my list. ![]() Your Personal Music Top 50's - Bzerkap - 09-17-2017 @Kris I have no idea what like half of your albums are lol Your Personal Music Top 50's - Kris - 09-17-2017 (09-17-2017, 07:14 PM)Bzerkap Wrote:@Kris I have no idea what like half of your albums are lol I can agree, overall these might be kind of obscure but to be fair, in their respective genres most of those are pretty popular. It just comes down to what music do you listen to. ![]() ![]() Your Personal Music Top 50's - jparks98 - 09-17-2017 Damn this is so hard Your Personal Music Top 50's - timeconsumer - 09-17-2017 I know a good amount of them. I'm not a huge music listener but I definitely got down to some metal here and there. Yours is a little toooo metalcore/numetal for my taste but hey, we're all different. What I'm wondering is how Alaska by Between The Buried and Me isn't on there. That album is unbelievably good. Also, you have Protest the Hero, but not Kezia???? Some of these metalcore albums are on here because metalcore was the first genre that made me appreciate music more and eventually let me expand my music tastes to something I'd never imagine before. A few of these albums are there because they hold a special place in my heart (even though I'd argue they are musically pretty good nonetheless). BTBAM is a band I've only recently got into. Parallax II is a great album and was the first one I've heard. I haven't really heard anything from Alaska yet. Protest the Hero - just add Kezia in there somewhere. I never really listened to it as a whole despite me really enjoying Fortress. I just listened to more of it and it's amazing. Tracks like Bloodmeat and The Dissentience were some of my first progg-y tracks I ever listened to and I've just known them forever. It might be an age difference? Alaska and Kezia were released in 2005 when I was just starting Freshman year of college. So those really stuck with me as I was more into music then as opposed to now. I'm 18, and started listening to a few of these bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine in around 2011. That's why some of classic early-mid 2000s albums aren't here. It just means I've got way much more stuff to explore, and that's awesome. Your Personal Music Top 50's - timeconsumer - 09-17-2017 (09-17-2017, 06:06 PM)Kris Wrote:Definitely. Good taste, my friend! Is this from last.fm? @Kris |
