First, I’d like to touch on my personal highs and lows on the season. My personal season high would have to be week 7 playing in Yellowknife. Yellowknife itself is a very hostile place and always makes for an interesting game but, this was a particularly big game for me as I finished with 4 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovered, and 1 safety. Unfortunately, we couldn’t come away with the win and ended up losing 20-12. My personal low this season is easily week 11 against the SaberCats. I was completely brick-walled and finished the game with no stat-line what so ever. I had been having a very good season until that point, and the wheels just kinda fell off.

Our team high point this season was easily our win in Arizona. Not only did we give Arizona their only loss on the year and ruin their perfect season but, we also cliched home field advantage with that huge win. It was truly a team victory as we played well top to bottom. They team low point for our season would have to be our blow-out loss at home to the Orange County Otters. We were 6-1 at that point and even though we had just lost our first game to Yellowknife the week before, we were still riding high. Orange County rode in and punched us straight in the face though, as we lost our first home game in almost 2 seasons, 55-23.

Lavelle's Season High - Week 5 V PHI
In a so far disappointing season for both Lavelle and the Yellowknife Wraiths as a franchise, Lavelle still searching for his first interception of the season, and still in single digit pass deflections. Lavelle had during the preseason been adding another string to his bow, in the form of kick and punt return routines. All the practice paid off when in week 5, Lavelle managed to a punt for 67 yards and claiming himself his first touchdown of his career. In the end the Wraith's lost, a common theme.

Lavelle's Season Low - Week 9 V COL
This game was a down point of rather the Wraiths and the team, as opposed to individually for Lavelle. Lavelle ended the game with 1 tackle, looking at that many may say oh he must've got burnt and couldn't break up passes all game. WRONG. Yeti WR #1 at the time Kendrick Hendrix finished with 2 catches for 18 yards. That's it, but take into account for one of those catches , Lavelle wasn't even assigned to Hendrix. Knocking Lavelle's stats down to 1 catch allowed for 12 yds. While collectively taking a WR out of the whole game. Regardless, The wraiths yet again suffered defeat to the 2nd worst team in the league and the offense of course stalled, only managing to put up a mere 7 points.

The highest point for Ricardo Sandoval this past season... Well, there were quite a few. He went on a game show with some of his teammates, he got to enjoy the luxuries of a new stadium and a Top 2 team in the league. He helped defeat the Arizona Outlaws on the road, a tremendous feat that even the Hawks were questioning if it could be done. There was the fact that he had a better season than his brother, or even the league-wide respect and recognition he and his agency has garnered. But his proudest moment boiled down to one game. Week 5 versus the Las Vegas Legion. Not only did he have 4 tackles, but he tore the OL to shreds with 3 sacks, earning himself his 5th spot on the defensive line standouts list.

And on the other hand, the low point. The lowest point of his season was when his Hawks lost to the Yellowknife Wraiths in Yellowknife and people started doubting the Hawks competitiveness. People started asking questions about if they could only beat bad teams, if they could get it done. This only stopped once they defeated the Outlaws away, and they were back on track.

The lowest point of the season for Boss Tweed occured during the preseason. It was more of a team low point than an individual low point. This was when Yeti quarterback Logan Noble was discovered to be cheating by using performance enhancing drugs. It was a huge blow to team morale. Although the Yeti knew they would take a step back after some of the trades they made to move players who were planning to leave in the future, however, they still thought they could potentially contend for a playoff spot. However, with the loss of Logan Noble, the Yeti suddenly became one of the worst teams in the league and were much more likely to end up with the #1 overall pick than with a playoff spot. Also from an off-the-field perspective, it was a big disappointment to lose of the team's biggest locker room leaders and to find out that he had been lying to everybody on the team. This was the moment that set the stage for a rough season for the Yeti.

The highest point of the season for Boss Tweed was the Yeti's Week 14 victory over the Sabercats. Throughout the season when the Yeti won games, other teams said that it was just a fluke and due to the other team underperforming. This was the only game of the season where the Yeti were able to actually go out and assert themselves and truly dominate an opponent. It was the first game of the season in which Nicholas Pierno did not throw an interception, which was a positive sign for the Yeti's future because it gave reassurance that they have their quarterback of the future. But also, it was a huge milestone for Tweed's career. It was the game in which he clinched the first rushing title of his career and he set the single season rushing yards record. While the low point set the Yeti on a tough path going forward, the high point provided reassurance that they are headed in the right direction.

I had a few high points this season so it’s tough to narrow it down to just one moment. Even though we lost our first regular season game badly, I was happy to play in my first game and got 4 tackles and 1 tackle for loss. It was a long road to get to the NSFL and I was just happy to be there on the field. Another high point of the season for me was switching to the offensive line and playing on offense for the first time. I had 3 pancakes and 0 sacks allowed and I was extremely proud of my performance that night against the SaberCats.

The low point for me this season was the game against the Outlaws in Arizona. We lost 48-6 and I only had 1 tackle. I really struggled against their offensive line and Tim Pest laid me out a few times. It got in my head and I committed 2 penalties included a facemask after Rove threw an interception. I was really frustrated at the time and Coach Pierce reamed me for my behavior. It ended up getting to my head and I couldn’t shake my frustration this game. I knew I could be better, but the Outlaws stifled all my hopes and dreams this game. It was hard to bounce back after that.
