NSFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Trey Willie Selected for Cover of EA Sports' Madden NSFL S4 announced today that the NSFL's S3 Offensive Rookie of the Year Trey Willie will appear on the cover of Madden NSFL S4, the latest iteration of the EA SPORTS best-selling football franchise with the official video game license of the NFL and its players. The Baltimore Hawks wide receiver's appearance on the cover of Madden NSFL S4 makes him the first NSFL star to grace the cover. "It is truly an honor for me to be on the cover of Madden NSFL S4, every NSFL player dreams of being on the cover," said Willie. "After being named Rookie of the Year and going to the Pro Bowl my first season, although I didn’t play - this is a perfect way to start my second season in the NSFL." As the first play to score 4 touch downs in a single game, Trey Willie has already emerged as one of the most exciting athletes in the NSFL. The S3 NSFL Offensive Rookie of the Year was selected by the Baltimore Hawks with the 10th overall pick in the S3 NSFL Draft, and started in all 14 games for the Hawks. Willie ranked first on the team with 1163 receiving yards and a trio of TDs.

In the first ever edition of Noble Football (named after the controversial, yet significant and original member of the NSFL), Yellowknife tight end Joseph Askins has been asked to be on the cover of the video game. Askins is absolutely ecstatic to be selected as this is a childhood dream come true of his, as he has always enjoyed playing sports video games, and being on the cover of Noble Football is a complete honor. However, several critics have been wary of why Askins has been selected considering the very quiet rookie season he had for the Wraiths last season. Some people believe that it is because the creators of the game have a strong hunch Askins will have a breakout season this year. Others believe that Askins paid the creators to put him on the title in a move to boost his popularity and hopefully get him more sponsorship deals. The most controversial belief is that the creators intended to have the previous Tight End of the Yellowknife Wraiths, Ricky Maddox, be on the cover, but there was a mix up in the office and they accidentally called Askins instead to be on the cover and they were too embarrassed to admit their mistake. Whatever the case may be, I know Joseph Askins is extremely excited to be the cover athlete on the first edition of this video game, and hopes what is know as the "Madden Curse" doesn't transfer over into the NSFL as well.

"Micah Hendrix? You're here for the uh....the magazine photo shoot?"

"Yeah this is the right place isn't it?"

"Well yes, but.....yeah are you sure you're Micah Hendrix? We thought you would be a bit bigger you know."

"Oh yeah I used to be an offensive lineman but I lost quite a bit weight recently. I'm surprised you guys didn't know that though, I thought that's what the feature on me was about. Is that going to be a problem?"

"Hmm, I see. Well yes it actually might be a bit of a problem. As you can understand, our magazine subscribers would definitely prefer someone of your previous, more husky body type."

"Excuse me, what are you talking about? My agent said this was for Sports Illustrated...."

"Oh no, I'm sorry, there must have been some confusion. Yeah, this is for Beefy Boys Magazine."

"Beefy....what? Do I even want to know what this magazine typically entails?"

"Oh well we feature all kinds of-"

"Seriously, please spare me literally any details. I'm just going to leave now."

"Are you sure? We have some very realistic fat suits we could set you up in."

"No, I'm good. Besides, I need to go have a nice, long talk with my agent."

Calkewlated Chambers the third sat awkwardly on a stool located in the center of the studio room. He Was wearing only a dressing robe and felt eyes on him as lights and camera equipment were set up around him. "How did my agent convince me this was a good idea?"- He thought.

It had been one month earlier and Calkewlated Chambers's agent Brentt Brentingson had been calling all his connections to get some kind of sneaker or clothing deal. Cal wasn't interested in selling his image. But that didn't stop Brentt from pushing. "This one will be different" - He promised. "Ok, fine. I just don't want to feel like an object." Brentt smiled- "Cal baby, This is the SaberCats year. This is your year. Time to put yourself out there and show the world what you're made of."

Fast forward to today. The photographer in charge of the shoot was ready to get the show on the road. "Ok Cal, let's get working" Cal stood from his chair and undid his robe. Lights started to flash and cameras started to click as Cal's nude photos were captured. His ego grew as the room hushed in silence at the gifts of his genetics. "Somebody give me a ball"- He demanded. He stroke pose after pose and his shyness fell away. He couldn't wait for next month's issue of ESPN magazine. Not every athlete is invited to be on the cover of their Body Issue.
