A.Rchon joined the Wraiths squad shortly before the beginning of the S4 season in a move that shocked NSFL fans around the world. A.Rchon claims to be the spawn of the once NSFL superstar who is currently relegated to DSFL status, Francois Lamoreux. Many suitors begged and grovelled in hope to sign the offensively stout blocking superstar and in the end it came down to a total of three teams.

The Las Vegas Legion originally offered the most money due to both their abundance in salary cap room AND their cling to fame as being the first team that spawn parent Francois Lamoreux played for, albeit in his waiver season before hitting the S3 NSFL draft.

Now it's no secret that Lamoreux didn't pan out to be the superstar that he talked. He certainly didn't walk the walk after all the big game he talked.

Regardless, the team that A.Rchon signed with was obviously the second team interested as they won out in the end. But who was the third team?

You'll all be surprised to hear this but it was none other than the BALTIMORE HAWKS!!!!!!! SHOCKING! As it turns out despite A.Rchon's papa's deep hatred for the hawks, Baltimore and anything in between. Apparently the Hawks and A.Rchon was a done deal until minutes before the deal was meant to be signed, amid the Baltimore Hawks HQ boardroom, A.Rchon was ready to sign the contract when a distressed Lamoreux busted into the room.

" YOU'RE NOT SIGNING WITH THESE BERNIE BRO'S! I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH THESE MILLENNIALS ARE WILLING TO PAY YOU, IN THE END IT'S ALL IRISH NAZI MONEY FROM NAZI SYMPATHIZING DAYS" With that A.Rchon came to his senses and signed with Yellowknife.

The Yellowknife Wraiths "acquired" a new QB this past free agency season, with Mat Askelsen (spelling?) shifting from Offensive Lineman to Mobile Quarterback. The league was taken aback by this apparently bold change, as the Wraiths had Ethan Hunt on the roster at the time, and had just earlier traded away their own pro bowl caliber quarterback Orosz. There were also unsettling reports that Mat Akeslen (spelling?) had undergone some troubling dietary habits in order to cut down on his weight. How would Akselen (spelling?) fare with his new body, new position, and given the fact that he had apparently not thrown a football since high school?

Spoiler alert: Pretty decently actually. Akselsen (spelling?) currently leads the league in completion percentage with 62.9%, and is only two completions away from Mike Boss of the Otters for having the most completions on the year. However, Askelen (spelling?) also has the same number of passing TDs as he does interceptions (7), leading him to have a 79.6 QBR. Askselsen (spelling?) is currently 3rd in the league in QBR, ahead of fellow OL turned QB Blocksdale of the Baltimore Hawks. Akelen (spelling?) rounds out his passing stats by leading all quarterbacks in rushing yards (40) and the longest rush by quarterback (22 yards).

Many were predicting Askselen (spelling?) to be mediocre, but Akelsen (spelling?) has surprised the haters by being a very solid, if not somewhat inconsistent, QB.

Think of the biggest offseason free agent pick up you can think of. Now think of the biggest free agent pick up who also got a lot of money. Still thinking about the same person? I know I sure am. Ofcourse I`m thinking of the one, the only, the guy himself. Josh Garden, who ironicly is also related to my garden. This lad was able to convience the Arizona Outlaws to throw about 23 million dorrah on his ass. Now I`m no expert, but I`d say 23 mil is a fuck ton of money. Definalty more than 22 mil. With 5 touchdowns in 4 games however, Garden is proving to be worth atleast a third of that money. Besides being a tied leader for touchdowns in the NSFL he is also the leader in yards. You know another name for a Garden.. that's right your yard. Coincident? I think fuckin not, the nsfl is scripted confirmed. Anyways, Garden is proving to be quite a solid fit for the Outlaws as they are now 4-0 in the league and are once again leading it. I`ll have to give the garden signing a 6/9, which translate to some very solid numbers.

Going into season four, the Baltimore Hawks were in dire need of fresh blood at the running back position. They had to replace Marcus Robinson and Darlane Farlane. In Robinson's case, his commitment to the game died off very early on, but the team had no choice of keeping him in the starting lineup. Feature back Darlane Farlane had extreme promise early on, his rookie season he carried the Hawks on his back all the way to the Ultimus game. He won the offensive rookie of the year award and the future seemed bright. However, he experienced a severe hangover in his sophomore campaign. Perhaps the incredibly large workload from the previous season burned him out? After S3 Robinson was sent to the minors and Farlane was relegated to the bench in favor of Owen Taylor and Dieter Koch, the new RB and FB. Both these players have shown great promise through four games. Taylor is a super fast, do everything back. He carries a big workload and has ripped off the second longest run in league history. Koch is a strong blocker and safety valve of a pass catcher. Both players have given the Hawks a great boost in the present and will continue to do so for the long term. (212)

This year, Free Agency was tough on the Wraiths. They lost several key bids, including a particularly heartbreaking offer to Alex Hansen after he was retained via the Restricted Free Agent tag, a target of much controversy in its own right this offseason. The Wraiths even lost star Wide Receiver Josh Gordon after a $23 million offer from the Outlaws was too much to pass up. Then, suddenly, hope came in the form of Quarterback Ethan Hunt.

Hunt had faced some adversity of his own this offseason. After being primed for a new opportunity, Hunt’s expectations were dashed as an influx of new players turned the league upside down. Several previous desired positions were now oversaturated, including the Quarterback position. Hunt was blindsided and left with nowhere to turn. Even the Wraiths had solved their Quarterback problems after former offense lineman Mat Akselsen tried out at the position and discovered himself to be the natural. However, the two sides still saw a path forward. Hunt signed with the Wraiths and immediately made the switch to Wide Receiver in a move that no way saw coming. Furthermore, he owned his new role and took on the new moniker of “Gosh Jardon”, an obvious jab at the Wraiths’ former Wide Receiver. No one expected Hunt to be an instant replacement for Garden, but that hasn’t stopped him from trying as he’s quickly impressed in his new role. It looks like the sky’s the limit for this new receiver.

Josh Garden's singning with the Outlaws was a move that people questioned for multiple reasons. From Garden's perspective, people wondered why he would join a team that was already stacked without him having won 3 championships in a row and appearing poised to win a fourth. This would hurt Garden's image as many would not view him as a competitor and would instead think that he likes to take the easy way out to victory. From the Outlaws' perspective, people questioned whether any one player was really worth a 23 million dollar contract, which is more than a third of the salary cap for one player. The Outlaws already had one of the strongest receiving cores in the league, so it was questioned why they would spend so much for a player who didn't even fill a very big need. However, this signing appears to be a match made in heaven so far. Garden looks to be on pace for a career year, perhaps the best season by a wide receiver in league history, as he has racked up 28 catches for 484 yards and 5 touchdowns in his first four games. The Outlaws offense is already leading the league in points scored by a wide margin. King Bronko is looking like an early MVP favorite as he leads the NSFL in passing yards and has an insane 10:1 TD/INT Ratio in his first four games. Many questioned how the Outlaws would adapt to the buffed up offensive lines around the league as they were previously known for their suffocating pass rush, but early on it is looking like their high flying offense may be their new defining characteristic. Josh Garden is thriving individually on the Outlaws and he has added a new dimension to the team that may be the defining factor in their fourth consecutive championship.

I’m going to write about a team that made exactly zero moves in free agency, the Baltimore Hawks. It wasn’t for lack of trying, as they pursued multiple big names, that just didn’t pan out for one reason or another. There were however, some massive changes to their roster. A total of five, yes five(!) players changed positions for them, and so far, it seems to be going well. However, I will only be talking about two of them, Avon Blocksdale and Dieter Koch. Blocksdale was perhaps the most high-profile move as he made the change to quarterback. While his performance hasn’t led the NSFL, take away his one bad game, and his numbers are within the top half of the league. He is currently fourth in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. Look for Blocksdale to continue to improve as he further acclimates himself to the position. Dieter Koch, on the other hand, made the move to fullback. An interesting twist, Koch decided to go the incredibly unselfish route of a run-blocking back, hoping to make room for another position change, Owen Taylor. Koch’s choice to move has been a boon for the Hawks as not only does he excel at opening holes for Taylor, but he has also been a phenomenal pass catcher out of the back field.

With all the talk about Free Agency, let's take a look at how this previous free agency affected the Baltimore Hawks. In the offseason, the Hawks did not make any signings, nor did they have any draft picks, so the Hawks locker room has not changed much in terms of players. However, their players have changed. Offensive Lineman Avon Blocksdale shed over a hundred pounds to become the man he used to protect, meaning Scrub Kyubee learned how to hit and became mean over the offseason as well. However, these changes have not left many changes on the field. The one that has? Owen Taylor. Owen Taylor, former star Defensive End for the Hawks, has changed to running back and become an offensive phenom for the Hawks' backfield. This has led to a rise in production from Ricardo Sandoval, however, we are not focusing on lame-ass same position players today. These position changes have been vital to the Hawks' successes on the field, with a now active RB and a more-than-semi-active Quarterback leading the charge and a new safety patrolling the depths of the downfield area. So they did not add any new players, but they sure fucked around and became even BETTER in-house.

Dear Diary,

Coach said there would be hard times ahead last season when we went on a three game losing streak. I thought he was speaking about only the offense specifically. We all know that the offense had stalled last season and we couldn't move the ball. Being on the other side of the line I could do little but watch. I had enough to worry about on our side of the ball. My first season with the San Jose Sabercats was lackluster. I felt like the D- line was putting pressure on the opponents quarterback but I surely wasn't finishing the job. We needed another Cog in the machine... All I could do was hope that the uppers in San Jose figured out how to solve our offensive and defensive woes.

During the off season, this hope was answered. Overnight our O-line saw a major shift in personnel. These men were robotic in their movements. Almost like they were programmed in precision and accuracy. What's more important is that one of our great linemen Vincent Sharpei converted to my side of the ball. Now as a linebacker he is leading not only our defense but the whole league in tackles. (36). I think our defensive line is really opening the holes for Sharpei and he is finally closing the deal.
