So, instead of a player I’m going to talk about a pick in general. The #1 overall draft pick has produced more busts than not, as just about every first pick has underperformed for their team. Season 1 we have the infamous JJ Reigns, he forgot more than you’ll ever know about the sim and forgot about this league faster than you will too, running for the hills after pioneering a rival league. Then we have S2 1oa in Dermot Lavelle, while he has had a solid career in the NSFL so far, there have been a lot more value picks from the S2 draft, and he has never really taken the claim of best CB in the league despite the lofty expectations that were surrounding him. Another part of S2 was the expansion draft, and the Legion took Stanislaw Maddox with the first pick. This guy quickly went inactive and has been nothing more than a CB3 for whatever team he ends up on. Compare this to the next selection in the expansion draft, Vikian Marmeladov, who has been a standout safety for the Liberty and what some would consider the top safety in the league. Next, we have S3 first overall Antonio Sandoval, the Yeti jumped to 1oa in this draft in an effort to secure their anchor on the line in Sandoval, and not shortly after the league announced OL bots that made OL meaningless as a position. He switched to DL and has never really established himself as a top player on the defensive line. The S4 first pick is the one who is the exception to me so far, Noah Goodson has been a solid LB, and has been a piece to build around for defenses, although he hasn’t elevated to top LB yet with grizzled veterans still holding that title.

S5, S6, and S7 seem a bit too early to tell, but all signs point to Crush being a massive reach, but it is not his fault at all. The Yeti suffered from poor QB play during his whole career so far and he has not been able to elevate past those problems, even at a weak position group that has really only 1 name you can recognize, Crush has not made himself into a name worth remembering. As for Brian Mills and Howard Miller, only time will tell as to whether or not they go down the route of JJ Reigns and solidify the thought that 1oa is more of a curse than a top player, or they could go down the route of Goodson and start changing the tide and making the first pick really seem worth it again.

Rewind all the way back to inaugural draft of the NSFL. With their first selection, and fifth overall, the Baltimore Hawks had selected Damien West, a highly sought after wide receiver. West would go on to have a solid first season but fade to relative obscurity soon after. While many would consider him a bust in his own right, with their next selection in the draft (the eight overall pick), the Hawks decided to outdo themselves and selected TE, Gabriel Tenzini. Gabriel Tenzini should go down as one of, if not the worst, busts in the history of the NSFL. From the get-go, Tenzini had all the makings of a star. As a possession tight end he had some of the best hands in the draft, and his creator, princekyle, was hyper active in the league. The sky was the limit for this young man, but he fell far short. For his first season, he was relatively successful when compared to other tight ends. He finished with 67 receptions for 407 yards and 3 touchdowns, leading all tight ends in both receptions in touchdowns. Tenzini was selected by the Las Vegas Legion and everything went downhill from there. Unfortunately for Tenzini (and the Legion) he would never come close to touching those numbers again as all three will stand as his career bests. After finishing 8th in receiving yards to tight ends, Tenzini’s career was all but over. Tenzini has seen his number decline season over season every year since. His career totals stand at 203 receptions, 1167 yards (a number topped by 13 players in season 6 alone), and 3 touchdowns (having never scored again after week 5 in season 1). Although you can still catch glimpses of his husk roaming the field in New Orleans, one can’t help but wonder what could have been.

For my biggest bust in the NSFL would have to be a great DSFL runningback and Portland Pythons, Borro Gore. Borro Gore played for the Portland Pythons and was pretty good. When Borro Gore got drafted his team opted to send Borro Gore down. Borro Gore updated pretty frequently until he got to 249 TPE, which make sense because he could update any more, but when Borro Gore stopped updating he also became an inactive. This is sad because the team that spent a draft pick on Borro Gore didn't even get to see Borro GoreGore on the field fot them. Borro Gore was one of the most promising runningback to ever come out of the draft and became an inactive runningback that will forever thrive in the NSFL. Borro Gore in Season 6 ran led the league in total yards, 1241, and had the longest run, 71 yards, in the DSFL. This is one of the most devastating inactives to ever hit the NSFL. Borro Gore you should come back to the league. It almost seems like he was walking in the same shoes as Shawn Ariel, but one thing Borro Gore did that Shawn Ariel didn't was update.

So today I was reminding of a huge bust. A bust so big it likely overshadows all the other busts that are out there in this league. A name you probably have not heard or even thought about in like atleast a month or two. This particular person, or bust if you will, I am talking about, is ofcourse the one and only... Bojo Kicksit, or as I like to call him. Bojo Kickshit. Hah. I saw Bojo talking in discord today which reminded me of his player and it reminded me of what kind of huge bust this lad was.

Ofcourse I am hearing you say, 'oh but Bojo kicksit has like 200 tpe is he not a great kicker because of that?'. Why yes person with voices in his head questioning my pt, that would be the case, but still I want to point out that this person got picked ahead of me. The outlaw killer. Ofcourse they were better off picking Bojo as I aquired quite a bit of tpe which ofcourse royaly screwed me over, but that's beside the point. Bojo Kicksit is a busty McBusterton and that's just how it is and any one who disagrees with me can come and fight me about it irl at the university of Houston.

(S7) - PT 1 - Biggest Busts - Leafer - 04-02-2018

The biggest bust in the history of National Simulation Football league is none other than the bust of the San Jose century known to be Sensabaughdy Leafer. Like are you kidding me, drafting this tool? The Sabercats management have got to be disappointed at this still for picking this twat. There were other great players available, even other great defensive ends players but they pick arguably the worst name in the history of sports history and worst athlete. Sensabaughdy promised that he will win everything. He will win the MVP, Best Defensive Players, best DE in the league every season after season and multiple championships but what happens? None of it comes true. The sabercats failure is because of him and his fluke. He in fact did not even play a single game or second on the field because he was a lazy prick who is proud of himself and cannot be full of himself. You wanna talk dermot or shaka or garden but why not this doofus.

This was an easy PT because it is obvious who the real bust is. But the bottom line is, Leafer is the worst draft pick ever and it will never be forgotten.

You want to know one of the biggest busts in the league, it would have to be wide receiver Josh Garden. After being selected number two overall in the deepest draft this league has seen or will ever see again, he has gone on to accomplish nothing. Not a single ring, nothing. After spending 3 years holding the Yellowknife Wraiths back, he leaves to chase rings with the Arizona Outlaws. Along in his pursuit, he manages to rob them for the largest contract the National Simulation Football League has ever seen. And for what? Nothing. This guy is so unlucky, he even has a curse named after him. Many believe it was this curse, and not all that cheating bullshit by ER, that ended Arizona’s streak at the top. You want to know what’s even worse? Apparently oblivious to the curse, the Philadelphia Liberty go out and trade for the now inactive corpse of Josh Garden. While he has put up reasonable number during the regular season, the curse lives on. The Liberty, by the slippery hands of Josh Garden, have yet to win ring. Only time will tell if this curse can be broken as the S7 season will be the last season that Garden is performing near 100%. (210)

(S7) - PT 1 - Biggest Busts - HENDRIX - 04-02-2018

This is going to be a very easy and fast PT for me to write, because to me it's obvious the biggest bust in NSFL history was Francois Lamaroux. From day one when he joined the site this guy was complete poison, a troll that went way too far. He even managed to nearly decimate the motivation of an entire team from being residents on the site. Let's rewind back to the S3 draft. Offensive linemen were still at a premium, it's not like today where they're are bots. The first 8 picks passed in the first round, then the Wraiths were on the clock at number 9. And yep, you guessed it, despite already having the best offensive line in the NSFL they made OL Francis Lamaroux their pick. At this point I was jumping for joy as I made a trade with the Outlaws to move up to number 10 to get my target. At that pick I was able to choose future hall of famer, top TPE earner, future wife, and my coGM in Trey Willie @ItsJustBarry . It didn't take long for Lamaroux to find himself in controversy of his own, leading to poor bzerkap taking the fall for that scumbag. He ended up quitting the league and left behind a completely useless offensive line build. Yep, Fracois Lamaroux was the worst pick of all time. (226 words)

For me the answer for biggest NSFL bust is very easy.

Under no circumstances should Francois Le-Dbag have gone above NSFL legend and future HOFer Trey Willie.

Clearly I have no know idea what @Bzerkap was thinking when he picked Archon, but oh well.

Knowing what we know now I have no doubt that Archon would not be picked at all in the top of the drafts.

Archon was a terrible person on the forums and on the discord, and his player going IA perfectly fit how annoying he was.

Really there hasn't been a worse pick in NSFL history.

Co-GM Achon lasted about one week Big Grin.

HFFO was a better co-GM in Philly than Archon was in Yellowknife.

Only people who have caused more controversy in their time in the NSFL were the known cheaters like ER and Noble, but at least they weren't tools, Archon was nasty and accusing the Hawks of being cheaters every day. Dude drove away people from the site and I'm glad he's gone.

NSFL is way better of a site since he went inactive and I never ever miss him. May his corpse languish in the DSFL for eternity - I hope he's a failure down there just like he was in the NSFL.
