(S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - Muford - 03-22-2019 D’Pez Poopsie actually did quite a lot this off season. He realized his potential wasn’t at corner back, so he decided to bulk up. He put on over one hundred pounds in the off-season and put some lifts on his shoes to grow a few inches as well and will be playing hand down in the dirt this up coming season. That’s right, you heard it here first, D’Pez Poopsie, RBotY and a pro-bowl Corner back, will be playing at Defensive End this upcoming season and for the rest of his career. He has learned that being on the Defensive Line will also prolong his career where he can be more valuable in the later stages of his life. (119 words) (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - JKortesi81 - 03-22-2019 Carlito Crush is doing everything he can this offseason to fight off Father Time. Another offseason has brought him one step closer to the edge, and he’s about to break. In order to fight off regression, and ultimately, retirement, for another few seasons, Crush has been sticking to his ketogenic diet, and has been running along the beaches all day. On top of it, he flew to Germany this offseason to do the crazy blood cleaning thing Kobe Bryant did that one time. He’s also been lifting weights in the gym, but he’s transitioned into lifting smaller weights for more reps in order to prevent more wear and tear on his body. Crush is poised to help the Otters defend the title one more time. (125) (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - Jonstradamus - 03-22-2019 Maxwell Beard has been hitting the weight room hard this offseason in preparation for his first season in the NSFL. Its going to take strength, speed, and intelligence to break through these powerful offensive lines en route to the quarterback, and we know thats Maxwell Beards final destination: the QB. Hes put a ton of training into his speed, which is going to help him get around the flat SOB's attempting to protect the QB. Hes been studying opposing teams hard, increasing that football intelligence so he knows what his opponent is planning and how to counter it. He is going to be a force to be reckoned with. (113) (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - ADwyer87 - 03-23-2019 Sunnycursed has done a lot of preparing in the offseason. He is the new lead receiver for Orange County, finally supplanting Carlito Crush after waiting in the wings for three seasons. What has he been practicing? Not football, of course, but working on his star capabilities. Reportedly Sunnycursed has worked on figuring out different and unique ways to deflect from his performance and put all the blame on the QB. Now that he has been given the spotlight, he has began to practice his temper tantrums for when in a game another player gets more touches than him. He also has spent a lot of time studying to see what ridiculous hairstyle he can rock. He has yet to decide on an official one yet. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - goilers - 03-23-2019 Josh Parker from the Yellowknife Wraiths is really prepared for this upcoming season, he has been training harder than ever and has been working on his hands and most importantly his speed. I think this is the season where you will see Parker start to do something and become an important part of the team. He has been decent the last couple of seasons but he has put In a lot of hard work to get to where he is today and this offseason has been his biggest leap so far. He hasn’t missed a training session so far and is on it he is the most prepared he has ever been because of the gym and his trainer. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - TheWoZy - 03-23-2019 I haven’t had the chance to play a game during the preseason because my foot was injured. So I had to take care of myself during the preseason. I’m trying to have my chance to play in the first game this season. I tried to get my speed back to it used to be. With the injury, I wasn’t able to improve much but right now my focus is to get healthy and play the game. I also try to move around with the ball. It was quite hard at first but I’m feeling a lot better right now and I’m pretty confident I will get the chance to play in our season opener. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - Rise of Smitty - 03-23-2019 The off season is a wondrous time in a professional football player's life. It's the time they get to spend with family, rehab from injury, vacation to exotic places, pound out random street rats, or whatever they desire. With all that said, young DSFL superstar Vander Jones, spent his off season doing what mostly did during the regular season. Being lazy and coasting by on hand outs. He has nobody to go home to and he has no motivation to get better at a faster pace. The fact that he is even putting in any effort to tell you about how little effort he puts into his craft is amazing. However despite the lazy ways about Jones he has trained moderately hard and now finds himself as the top dog on the San Antonio Marshalls defense headed into the new season. Maybe, now knowing he is the best, he will be more motivated to work harder since this will be the last year he gets to coast at the DSFL level. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - WALDO - 03-23-2019 Jeffery Murphy was sitting in his home in South Carolina when he got the call. He was heading to the big leagues. He decided to start training immediately, earlier than he did in the past. He did everything he could do to prepare. Running on a treadmill more than three hours a day, compared to his usual 1 and a half hours. He went out with his teammates I get to know them, but he stopped doing that once they did some rookie hazing on him. We don’t talk about that anymore, that was a sad day. Let’s just say it involved Nacho Cheese, lots of nacho cheese. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - BigKicks - 03-23-2019 Despite not kicking for any preseason games, Alex D. of the Portland Pythons is looking to be the best kicker of the DSFL rookie class. He's been the first one to practice and the last one out every day, just as his college teammates claimed he would do. And even thought the Prospect Bowl didn't matter, he still feels the sting of the 22 yard field goal miss anomaly which cost the Owls a potential overtime victory, and has promised such a miss will not happen in his professional career. He is so far delivering on his promise, missing no kicks in practice from under the 35 yard line. Quote:109 words (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - CDub2 - 03-23-2019 To be honest, Cameron Taylor is old as tits now so there's not a whole lot to do in the pre-season. It's mostly just trying to pass the time until season starts. By this point in his career, if what Cameron Taylor brings to the table isn't good enough for the NSFL, then GMs have a problem or maybe it's just time for retirement. But as far as we know, Taylor has another season in him. So he took the off season pretty light. No reason to wear the body down as the career winds down as well. Cameron Taylor didn't workout much the previous off season either and he had a great season so let's see if it works again. 121 |
