I think this year my main focus is just to continue improving. Since I'm now on an expansion team, we're considered the underdogs by the rest of the league, and though we've got some great players from the expansion draft who have a lot of league experience, there are also guys like me on the team who are not only starting at their respective positions but are also a quite low TPE in comparison to many other players. So, I think if I could just work hard this season to make sure to get all the TPE I can, I'll be in a much better position to succeed during the next league season. That isn't to say that I expect nothing this season, as during week one and the preseason I think I performed quite well. My most notable improvement has been in the pass defended department, where I now have 13 over the previous 5 games. A personal best for passes defended has already been achieved even if you only count our week one game against the Hawks. But overall, even if the team doesn't do spectacularly well this season, I'll be happy knowing that I helped to brighten the future as a result of my solid improvement.

Jay Cue is always looking to perform better with every season that passes. And that did not happen last year. After a great rookie season, where he became MVP runner up, he faced the sophomore slump, getting average or bad results in pretty much every QB category. So this season, he wants to do better and maybe get to the same point as his first season in the NSFL. Looking at the Arizona Outlaws team and their rebuild, it is going to be really complicated for Cue to get those stats, but you never know. The goal is to get at least 27 TD passes with less than 10 Interceptions and to help the Outlaws get to 4th place in the ASFC. After 1 game and looking at the fixtures, sounds pretty complicated, if not impossible.
I would love to get another QB of the year award, so that at least Cue can rack up some awards to look back when he hangs his boots. Unfortunately for him, QBs seem to be getting even better in the league, and with the MVP award hog that Franklin Armstrong has been doing, not a lot remains for the other 9, now 11 QBs.
Still a lot to play for, so who knows what will happen?

Blackstone certainly takes his accomplishments very seriously, and of course that starts with setting goals for himself. For starters, he has seen now what he can accomplish at the NSFL level he isn't looking back. Although some will say that trying to improve on a defensive rookie of the year performance is a fools errand, Blackstone doesn't see it that way. he knows that he needs to set the bar high so that he doesn't give in to complacency. Furthermore, if he isn't setting the bar as high as possible then he will always fall short of what he can acommplish. So what does that mean for this season? That means that he is expecting at least 28 tackles, 12 TFLs, 7 sacks, and 1 safety. He would also certainly like to fill in other areas that he didn't touch on the stat sheet such as forced fumbles and fumble recoveries. Also, now that he has the first game of the season behind him he has also been encouraged to fill out one new area of the stat sheet: a blocked punt. And this is all the more special because it occurred against a good friend, Dougie Smalls. As a team, Blackstone recognizes that anything less than an Ultimus win would be an underperformance. It should be a good season.

Well, I have a few things I want to accomplish this season. Now that I am on a better and respectable team who do not stab you in the back I want to help them finally win a championship. That will be a little hard to do since it is more of a team effort type thing but I will take it.

The main focus is to help grow the Offensive Line. I do want to collect as many pancakes as I can in my 1st official season as an Offensive Line player but more so show how good this position can be. The OL now looks like it will be competitive going forwards and we can hopefully make a future generation of players make more OLs now that people are catching on with how good this position can be.

I would not say I am after OLOTY award, but it does not hurt to aim for it. After the bullshit of breakout star not getting picked I have my doubts this league can pick correctly but it would be a nice bonus and hopefully we can make OLs get picked for the pro bowl like they should be.

No other real goals but my goals are big time goals. We hopefully will make OL a better more loved position.

Going into Season 22, Slinky Claxton has a lot to prove. Coming off his Rookie season of the DSFL, he is going back to Portland for a Revenge Tour. After being drafted 64th Overall, much later than expected, Claxton is hoping to show other teams what they missed out on. Although his first season was solid, Claxton is now a Veteran of the Pythons and should be a great leader both on and off the field. One thing that Claxton was a let down on last season was Sacks. He is hoping to improve on that this season as well as tallying up even more tackles and tackles for loss than last year. Aside from those personal goals, Claxton has been named a Defensive Captain going into this season. With that honor, he is hoping to lead the Pythons team to an Ultimini this season. Last year they were cut short by the Kansas City Coyotes but this year they are hoping to rewrite the script. With a stacked defensive core, Claxton truly believes that he has what it takes to help put together an Ultimini run. Aside from the work with the Pythons, Claxton lastly is hoping to develop into a force so he can join up with the Arizona Outlaws next season. Once in the NSFL, it should be his time to shine on the big stage.

Cadillac Harris is very disappointed in his performance in the DSFL. He knows that he’s better than what the stats show, and has proved it time and time again, yet he wasn’t able to make the mark that he wished he had as the Royals stumbled to 5 wins. He only had one interception, something that he hopes to rectify in the upcoming season. His stats were decent last year, having racked up 59 tackles and 14 pass deflections, but pass deflections don’t get DBs into the pro bowl. He needs to have a better stat-like than what he had, and he’s very aware of this. Which is why, this upcoming season, he hopes to break Dermot Lavelle’s interception record. His first game as a SaberCat didn’t help him move towards that goal at all, but there are still 12 games left, and he hopes to record at least one interception in each of them. This’ll be a hard task, but he’s ready for it. He’s ready to prove that his stats in the DSFL don’t show who he truly is as a player, and he hopes to make his mark on the field this season. And to do this, he has to ball out every time he steps on the field. He fully intends to do this, and it all starts here.

After a hiatus of NSFL with the created Lineman OL Lilcringer Kendrick, Charmin Glassley has returned. Expectations are low, especially because of how low Charmin Glassley III was drafted, with so-called "experts" giving him a grade of a D. Pure disappointment. The Kansas Coyotes gave him the chance, and is now seen as a project 2nd string QB. With time, Glassley III isn't expected to start, but he's expected to learn the Kansas City system, to eventually start in year 2 or 3. He loves Kansas City and wants to stay there. His goal this year is to learn the system so that when RC3, aka Reginald Covington III gets drafted into the NSFL, Glassley can start from day 1. For now, he sits on the bench as the season beholds, cheering for the sidelines for his teammates to make a run for the championship. He will NEVER take the opportunity for granted. His lack of talent will have to improve, and was a big concern when he entered the DSFL draft. It will be fixed, and hopefully this can lead him to one day be one of the best players in the league one day. It will be a long journey though.

Written Option: Every year is a brand new start. In 200 words or more, describe what your player hopes to accomplish this year. Are there any career bests you want to set, or maybe even a league record? Do you have your eyes on an award? Are you convinced that this is the year you’ll finally win a playoff game? Right now, anything is possible.

With this being my first season in the DSFL, I'm not entirely sure what I should be expecting from my player. I think the rookie year is always the hardest to judge because you don't know how the person will react after playing college football for years and finally getting drafted to the professional league. After seeing a lot of teams pass on me in the DSFL entry draft, I do think some of them don't think I'm going to be a good contributor at the DSFL level. I'm here to change that perception. I think coming into the DSFL, I am probably the best rookie CB so I do expect myself to be at the top of my game. I will be getting a ton of chances to prove my worth. I hope I can get a few interceptions in my first season and I think that will be a pretty big confidence booster for me for the following seasons. I'm not sure how close I can get to any rookie awards because I know that some teams are better and those players will probably get better stats than me but if I can contend for some awards, I'll be very happy. I think our team has really started training well and with preseason starting this week we can see where we're at. I do think we can make the playoffs maybe surprise a few teams along the way.
