Well my draft expierence was pretty interesting. Went into the draft, having a very low draft stock, because of being an early recreate, plus being a quarterback, which made me get picked super low. Mix this in with the fact that it was the S22 draft with ~200 prospects available to be picked, you already know that it was not going to end well. To this day, not really sure why teams purposely chose inactives over me, when even at QB, could've eventually convinced me to switch, like I ended up doing with Honolulu, but it is what it is. Honolulu was actually the team that I wanted to go to, because expansion teams are always something that seemed fun to me, and being part of that team, would be cool. As well, as their branding was pretty lit, best ones in the league in my opinion at the time, plus at pre draft in their locker room, their GMs were pretty cool, with Raven and Dwyer both being pretty nice people, who I knew I would have fun playing for. I ended up going 109 overall in I remember correctly, the first pick of the 10th rd, and now I am 39th in the class in TP which is a pretty big rise. In general, my draft expierence was not too fun unfortunately, just cause I remember on stream, not the nicest things being said about me.

I remember my draft day like it was yesterday, it may be that I have an excellent memory or than somehow I have lived a much longer life than most people (which is of course not true no idea why you would thing that nothing to see here). Now I knew where I would go and even the round I would go, why might you did i find out such important information, let me tell you in 1 word, witches. Now I am not always a fan a witches but they are sure good for finding out what might happen in the future and they told me all the information in advance so I could make a nice profit on it, again you did not hear me saying that. No i don't know if you recall but went with the number 25 pick of the season 25 draft, which lined up nicely if I do say so myself. I was the 1st quarterback off the board the draft and with the next one not going till the 6th round and having already retired I think it was a pretty good choice by Austin. So from this future hall of fame going at the 25th pick it is nothing but a steal.

So, as Drip Dad is now officially an ISFL player, it is appropriate to talk about how he was drafted to the Colorado Yeti. See, Drip was almost certain he was gonna be a first round pick. And with the need at running back in that draft, there was realistically 3 teams that he thought would take him in the first. Those teams were Yellowknife, Orange County, and Philadelphia. When Philadelphia took Xander Creed at 3, Drip totally understood. Max TPE, great LR guy, and an overall stud. Looking back now, maybe a bad pick. When Yellowknifes pick came and went without Drips name being called, that's when it hit him. Drip Dad, moving back to Orange County, where he went to Junior College and became one of the best College running backs ever. It is where his son was born, so Orange County was the logical choice! When the card came in, all he saw was Running Back. All of a sudden, it said Ace Savage. That was a shocker. Ace is a great guy, but Drip was sure he was gonna be an Otter. Then, out of the heavens, like the legends they are, outstretched the hands of Sylphreni and Swanky. The Colorado Yeti. Stopping a draft day slide comparable to Aaron Rodgers, they saw the potential that Drip possessed. Drip will always play for Colorado, and he will always be working to prove every other team in the ISFL they made a mistake.

This past ISFL draft I was selected by the Chicago Butchers. Now if you told that to Gragg before we would have watched the draft, they would have probably screamed “HA! I called it!” That’s because they were convinced CC was going to draft me with their first round pick. They was so sure of themselves, we set up a $500,000 bet that they would win if the Butchers did take me there. The catch? I got drafted by them…. In the second round!
I was sooo convinced that they would pass on me mainly because it did not seem like the fit was there. They were and are loaded at safety, it felt like it would have been a wasted pick to take me that high. And considering a safety needy team in Philly was positioned at the top of the second, I was convinced I was going there. Negs and I also had a great conversation being together in Minny for a season, it felt like a sure thing.
Well, when Chicago ended up passing on me, Gragg was shocked (he was like the only one), so then I had my sights on Philly. But they ended up going with the other top safety in the draft, and that bummed me. I began my free fall, but with every pick that passed on me, I saw I was getting closer and closer to CHI. Then when they FINALLY took me, Gragg felt even more cheated. It was definitely hilarious, and a moment I won’t forget.

On draft day Captain Rogers was very excited to start his new career as a football star. Prior to the draft, it seemed that there were plenty of teams interested in using the captain's services, and as more and more scouts contacted Rogers, he began feeling like he had a purpose. This is his calling. A few teams really stuck out and seemed to be sure-fire destinations for the strong and speedy running back. However, as draft day finally arrived, every team in the first round decided to look elsewhere. It didn't take long for Rogers to get picked after that, though, as he would be picked in the second round with the third pick by the Baltimore Hawks. This came at somewhat of a surprise for Rogers as it didn't seem like they were as interested as other teams, such as New Orleans or Colorado, but he managed to make it work. That is, until another active back was taken in a later round to give Rogers even more competition. The two backs would butt heads, causing Rogers to eventually leave Baltimore, and in the end find his way back home to New York City. Now, Rogers is the lead back for the Silverbacks, and is carrying the load for a great team poised to make the playoffs this season.

For Demon Jaxson, a lot has happened since being drafted by the Sarasota Sailfish in the Season 26 International Simulation Football League Draft. For him it feels like it’s been quite the while since he got drafted, he’s played in two championship games, losing an Ultimini before winning an Ultimus, but in the grand scheme of things, it has not been too long since he was drafted on that fateful night, when Frostbite, General Manager of those very Sailfish, called out his name for the tenth overall pick in the draft. He remembers being surprised, as not many people (nobody in fact) had him mocked to come off the board this early, but also for the fact, as he can still vividly remember, the Sailfish scouted him last, and felt a bit disinterested in him. Obviously, this was not the case as they called his name and gave him the blue cap, welcoming him to their franchise. He remembers how excited and nervous he was walking up on stage, and how he was worried he would let the franchise down, and people would think he was a reach. Obviously it is a very different story now, as he is tenth in the league in TPE, up from 26th, but that’s how it was.
