2. Both bots. I wonder if this might be slightly the most likely option. My bet is both bots saw the no lynch as an opportunity to essentially start the game from the beginning but with more information if they both use their powers. No loss to them (except letting villagers use and communicate their powers) only gain. This would be most effective if the people accused yesterday (slm, Daybe) were actually not bots. Why? Bots know villagers are far off and might even kill off one of their own.

It sounds more like their role got blocked. But the jailkeeper doesn't just block roles, he physically jails the person, which would make it impossible for the bots to even get a test sample.
