RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - Modern_Duke - 11-27-2021 The Halfway All-Offense Team QB - Dexter Zaylren - Easily most efficient quarterback with an insane 26-2 touchdown to interception ratio RB1 - Goat Tank - Leader in yards and second in average RB2 - Zoe Watts - Close decision but I'll take Watts volume over Deadly Memes efficiency WR1 - Tugg Speedman - On pace for over 1800 yards WR2 - Luke Quick - Trails Speedman in yards, but has the edge in yards per reception and touchdowns TE - Adam Spencer - 2nd in TE yards, tied for 1st in TE touchdowns T1 - Ananda Adyan - The best combination of high pancakes and low sacks allowed. Unfortunately the only clean 0 SA seasons haven't been piling up many pancakes. T2 - Bruce Buckley - 2 sacks allowed is not great, but leading the league in pancakes will overcome it G1 - Felix Archstone - Clear choice, leader in pancakes and no sacks allowed G2 - Maiteers Rico-Shea - Roberts has the edge in pancakes but Rico-Shea has a clean sheet C1 - Manhattan Project - no bias RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - TheRocheLimit - 11-27-2021 DSFL Team of (Half) Year Quarterback North: Wendell Sailor ![]() South: Malcolm Savage ![]() These quarterbacks have led their teams to the top of their respective divisions. Sailor has done it on amazing TD/INT efficiency and Savage has proved to be a dual threat beating defenses through the air and on the ground. Running Back North: Rocky Rhoads ![]() South: John Riggins ![]() Rhoads has had an amazing year, leading the DSFL in carries and yards, and is second in rushing touchdowns. Leading the league in rushing touchdowns, however, is John Riggins. Both players average a very healthy 4+ yards per carry. Wide Receiver North: DeAndre King ![]() South: Malcador "The Hero" ![]() What a tough group to pick from. King gets the nod for leading the league in receiving yards and a great 17.3 yards per reception on average. Malcador finds a nice balance of being third in receiving yards and tied for second in receiving touchdowns. We've got a great group of wide receivers in the DSFL and you could make an argument for a dozen of them to be named here. Tight End North: Mark Goodhead ![]() South: Anthony MacGuire ![]() Goodhead is having an outstanding year, with nearly 600 yards and 6 touchdowns so far. MacGuire has been a big help for Dallas, finding the endzone on three occasions. Offensive Line North: Dallas Fort-Worth ![]() South: A Kicker ![]() These two players lead the league in pancakes. Fort-Worth takes the top spot there but Kicker has allowed zero sacks on the season. Impressive performances from both players. Defensive Line North: Franklin Turtle ![]() South: Caleb Watt ![]() Watt has an outstanding 6 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. Turtle is tied for the league lead with 8 tackles for loss and has forced 2 fumbles to go along with 3 sacks. Linebacker North: Spicy Ron ![]() South: Sconnie McHits ![]() This is another position with many players deserving the nod here. Ron and McHits are tops in the league in sacks and that pushes them over the top. The future of the league is in good hands at the linebacker position. Cornerback North: The Laz ![]() South: Ben Delabaguette ![]() Yet another category with many deserving players. Delabaguette and Laz both are near the top of the league with 3 interceptions apiece and both have over a dozen pass deflections. Laz has also added a defensive touchdown. Safety North: Siaosi Multiauaopele ![]() South: Lance Witt ![]() This will sound like a broken record but once again there are a number of players who could have been selected here. Multiauaopele and Witt have had impressive all around seasons contributing in many categories and deserve recognition. Kicker North: Levy Tate ![]() South: Jack Lewis ![]() Lewis has had an incredible season for the high-powered Norfolk offense, leading the league in extra point and field goal makes. Tate has been perfect with extra point attempts and has the longest field goal of the season at 57 yards. RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - Beck - 11-27-2021 We are currently a little over half way through this season. Taking a look at our current roster, I am listing below two stand outs from our team. These two selections may be a surprise to some but I will detail below their names on why I have selected them. Wide Receiver Deffo Not Leroy Leroy Analysis: So a look at the statistics and you would not think Leroy would be a selection what so ever. However a deeper dive into our team and locker room and you will see why he was an easy selection. He makes big plays whenever his number is called and is a big positive presence in our locker room daily. Defense: Defensive End David Frank David Frank is another who does not have some crazy stat line. But if you watch our games you will see he makes huge plays any time the game is on the line. Every team could use a David Frank, and his play has helped us get off to such a good start. RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - JuOSu - 11-27-2021 PBE PT RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - Net - 11-27-2021 I would say myself for this, I'm not gonna lie. I have 8 touchdowns as a rookie and overall a really solid season that could get me some votes as ISFL OROTY but if not I'm ok. I'm surprised Eleven Kendrick-Watts has only 1 touchdown for his production, but the production of Panda McKyle has been amazing! 3k yards, 18 touchdowns to 9 interceptions is really good for only his sophomore season as a quarterback. With the weapons surrounding him, expect even better play from him in the near future with his already surprising standout. On defense, I'm gonna go out to Colorado and mention Melvin Murder-Moose. Murder-Moose has been very good this season despite the regression MMM has had. 91 tackles through 10 games is really incredible and on pace for around 140-150 I'd guess. Final one I would say is Goat Tank. This guy has been a goat this season and with his new team in Berlin, I think it's 100% a great trade that worked out because well he is the #1 rusher in the ISFL. That's my take on the PT 185 words RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - MMFLEX - 11-27-2021 QB is arguably the most important position on the football field. I'd build my team around Dexter Zaylren. He's one of the most efficient throwers in the game and he doesn't turn the ball over. You win games by securing the football. For RB, you have to go Goat Tank. He is a tank. He's been one of the best for a few seasons and it is true even after being dealt. Eleven Kendrick-Watts is my first choice at WR. His stats would indicate he's having a down year, but his selflessness is a must have on a football team. Luke Quick would likely be my second choice at WR. He's leading the league in yards per catch and I really like a player than can get it done once the ball is in his hands. Mario Messi at TE is about as sure as you can get at the position. Always an incredible blocker that makes few mistakes and Mr. Reliable in the receiving game. The big uglies need love too, so at tackle I'll go Bruce Buckley and Ananda Adyan. Guard, I'll go Felix Archstone and Bob Roberts. For center, Manhattan Project has to be the man. Pretty sure we'd go 16-0. RE: (S32) PT 3 - Team of the Half-Season - cole6249 - 11-27-2021 John Riggins sat in the locker room post game, pondering which of the players was his favorite to play with. It had been a tough battle some of these weeks. Who had he seen make a big impact against him? He had big respect for linebacker McHits who had tackled him many times. He also thought about some of the strong opposing offenses he had watched play from the sidelines. Running back Rocky Rhoads had matched his amazing performance last game- and even got more rushing yards. John Riggins was a big fan of this Rocky Rhoads fella, he seemed to run with killer speed and crushing power. It would be cool to work out with him someday. WR Esconar sama had also been making a killer impact on the field, Riggens noted- It seemed like he would torch any cornerback placed in front of him. Riggins leaned back and was content, what a great half season so far, with such great players. Alright put it together the all first half of the season team so let's start with the offensive side of the ball and go with our starting quarterback and that is easily you want to be, Mattathias Caliban. Caliban is leading the league in yards at 3481 as well as tie for the league lead with 29 touchdowns you can't ask for much better than presumably the MVP of the league at quarterback. Next we have our starting running back and I think I gotta go with my personal fantasy football allstar an stud running back goat tank. tank is leading all running backs with 1018 yards an averaging an astonishing 5.3 yards a carry he also is doing pretty good with eight touchdowns which is good for top 5. Next I'm gonna select two wide receivers my number one and #2, first we're going to go with tugg speedman currently the league leader in yards with 1152 currently has six touchdowns on the year. I would like to see a little bit more touchdown production out of tug but those yards are great for any offense. secondly i M going to go with a touchdown machine and that's going to be Tsuyu Asui. Asui, is currently leading the league with 11 touchdowns but also is doing a lot with receiving production with 843 yards. At Tight End we're going to go with New Orleans Adam Spencer who currently is second with 522 yards only by two yards but has two more receiving touchdowns in the first place yards so I’m going to go with Spencer are at tight end. An offensive tackle I'm going to go with Bruce Buckley from Baltimore where there's 105 pancakes I think the two sacks allowed come from just having a little bit tougher job protecting immobile quarterback and not a very high powered offens, at guard wearing go with Felix Archstone. Currently at 61 pancakes on the year and is leading all guards. and that does it for my all first half team on offense. Code: 344 |
