Chet Larson has made his name in this league as the guy that makes tackles, lots of them, almost 100 in his rookie season (top rookie), league leader in his sophomore season, and top 5 in his third season. So he is extremely annoyed he hasnt managed to keep those numbers up this season. He knows a big part of it is that RBs are activity avoiding him, he is by far the biggest player on the second level, he also knows that by playing in coverage more he is stopping plays happening before they develop and he therefore isnt getting that chance to make the tackle. hes also playing beside a extremely fast line-backer in AJ Lucus @Alucas who is possibly befitting as much as anyone from Chet being the player wearing the headset and the Lbers being a big part of the team adjusting to offensive playcalls.

...but that doesn't change the fact that Chet misses getting involved in the game physically.

A suivre

When you think of a cornerback, what do you think of? Deion Sanders, Champ Bailey, Darrelle Revis. A true, #1, elite, lockdown, “don’t test me” cornerback. When I look at my stats, I see a decent number of tackles and sacks, but the PD and INT numbers are far lacking. I think in my career I am close to 10 PD and zero INT. So I would say that one part of my game that I am looking to improve would be my INT numbers. I want the other team to look at the schedule and think to themselves, “We’re going against him this week? Alright, we have to figure out how to play around that.” I feel like I am close to being there and having my breakout year. A few of my stats have been maxed and a couple others like speed, agility, and intelligence are very close to being maxed. Soon, I will not only have more maxed stats to keep up with the big boys, but perks to help tip the tides in my favor as well. Be on the lookout on awards ballots towards the end of Season 31, and into Season 32 as that is when I predict Willie will arrive.

RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - Drip - 08-08-2021

My player, Drip Dad, has been patiently waiting on the Colorado bench for about 3 seasons now. Backing up such a prolific franchise running back in Richard Gilbert, it makes sense. And me personally, I don't mind not seeing myself get stats. I know they will come. And honestly, I am not too mad about how this season has gone. So far this season, I have scored my first receiving touchdown (as a receiving back), and I have stepped up my game out of the backfield, posting a 61% first down percentage, and an average of 11.5 yards per catch. For the rest of this season, I am just looking forward to being a part of the team and helping Colorado turn around the season, especially after how we started. I would love to see Drip get some more yardage through the ground, and hopefully at least one rushing touchdown before the end of the year! As somebody who wants to start for the Yeti as soon as possible, I definitely have to make sure I keep at it, updating and hopefully we won't see too much of a drop off once big Rich takes his leave. So now, it's about hitting the practice field, getting those reps in, and staying patient, so that Drip is ready to take on any challenge thrown his way.

Xavier has been having a good season in relative terms, but he holds himself to a very high standard when it comes to disrupting offenses. This season has seen him collect a number in the mid 60’s for tackles, a trio of sacks, and some passing disruptions. However, upon entering the league WAlls wanted to be one of the top speed rushing threats in the league. He has been continuously working on his explosion across the line on the snap, but for some reason he just hasn’t gotten to where he’s wanted to be. Walls has a goal that every season he gets atleast 12 sacks and at the rate he is going now it does not look like he’ll meet that number in his first 2 seasons in the league. A frustration for sure and with his team losing close games on a regular basis it’s even more frustrating that he hasn’t pulled out a big play for the Liberty to push them to some more wins. The sim has been quite unfriendly to alot of the Liberty players even though the team has some very high tpe and promising talent on the squad so Walls is not alone in his frustrations. However, as with most Liberty players, their eyes are on the horizon and they know their time is bound to come in the near future.

Season 30 has, so far, been the worst season of Brandon Booker's career statistically. Through 10 games he has 48 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 14 passes defended. Booker is on course for his first interception-less season of his career, which is the biggest red flag here. Booker entered the season with 29 career interceptions, good for 16th all-time and three interceptions off the top 10. With only one career season in which he recorded fewer than three interceptions, I figured it was a given that Booker would enter the top 10 this season and his final few seasons (from an individual standpoint) would consist of watching how far up the top 10 he travels. This has not been the case. His 14 passes defended are passable and means he moves to 17th all-time, 15 away from the top 10. Without an interception or a fumble recovery, he's not been able to add to his 8 career defensive touchdowns (currently 3rd all-time), and while leading this category once looked like a sure thing this is no longer the case.

The sim switch has been particularly harsh on Booker, as when I took a look at and extrapolated his career stats a few seasons ago he was on course for the second-most interceptions of all time behind Dermot Lavelle and on course to be number one in defensive touchdowns. There are six games left for Booker to recover this season and more seasons to come in which he'll hope to improve on these career marks, but this season has been really demoralising on an individual and team level. Up to this point Calvin Hobbes had performed to a level that he is happy with, 8 touch downs in 7 games and 600+ yards. However this past week has been tough for the young Sailfish prospect with his grandmother passing away just recently and the focus hasn't been solely on football...

But the short term goal for Calvin would personally be to finish the season with at least one touch down per game and 100 yards per game. Could either of those stats be improved on, that would be beneficial but not the primary goal. While he was nominated for the wide receiver of the season last season Calvin hopes and aims to secure the award thus season by shoring his more than stellar gamely averages. While the rookie of the season award is out of reach, it's one he hopes to show the awards committee how wrong they were not to vote for Calvin Hobbes last season.

Teamwise Calvin Hobbes is looking for a deep playoff run with the Portland Pythons prior to being called up to join the Sarasota Sailfish most likely already next season. During the playoff Calvins biggest hope is to win the Ultimini, but of course he has some individual goals as well! Maintain that previously mentioned average of s touch down per game. Increase the game yardage to at least 150 per game and if possible be the game changing player to help the Portland Pythons secure the wins.

I swear ever since I position swapped the sim gods have hated me so much and I do not know why. Everyone always has something to improve on no matter what stage of their career, and for me I think that aspect of my game that I really want to improve upon by the end of the season would have to be hands. I have not been getting the picks or deflections that I have wanted since I have moved to safety, and for that maybe as safety its not as relevant to some stats that are similar to corners but I feel that only having I think zero interceptions on the season to top off only six deflections. I feel I did a hell of a lot more when I was still slotted into Linebacker and getting three times the amount of tackles. It just something that bugs me because I feel as a safety it means I am not doing what needs to be done to help the team secure stops and turnover. I keep working my hands so hopefully eventually I will pull through with it, maybe its something else and I need to start pushing on some traits instead to increase some more of my chances. We will see what the 2nd half of the season brings.

RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - Oles - 08-08-2021

The short term is weird for someone like Kazimir Oles JR. Having established himself as the best QB in the previous season, winning the QB of the year award, MVP award, and an Ultimini trophy, there’s not really much that can be improved. This is especially so when he continues to be at the top of the leaderboard for QBs as the season continues on, having one of the lowest attempts but ranking among the leaders in yards and touchdowns, while having one of the best passer ratings. The biggest issue Kaz has to work on has to be the interceptions, which may seam weird when he has one of the lowest interception numbers of the DSFL QBs. As it looks like Kaz will be graduating at the end of the season to the ISFL, he will have to work on adjusting to the new level of play, so working on interception numbers now will help him later in the big leagues. The goals are simple for the Minnesota QB, and he looks like he is on pace to at least be a contender for QBoTY and MVP, while his team is looking like the far and away front runner for the championship and the repeat. The biggest thing that can be done is just being a steady player, focusing on what works well and trying to trim down the interception numbers so the team can stay in the best position possible and not put the defense in a bad spot. Man, the guys at this level are just unbelievable. Really goes to show that I've just been coasting by on talent alone at the lower levels. These past few seasons have definitely humbled me and forced me to work on every given play. I've been working on my speed and agility, but I think I also need to spend a little more time in the film room, too, which I've been neglecting. Maybe at a more basic level, I just need to study the playbook more. Honestly I've just had my mind off of the game the past few seasons which was a huge mistake, given the short shelf life of football players, especially at this level. I've been dealing with a lot of injuries as well, and I think I'm starting to develop more advanced stages of CTE.

I've been consistent in going to my physical and mental rehabs, though, but things take time, so I'm hoping the commitment pays off, and that I can really get the most out of the little time I have left in this league. I still hope to make the hall of fame, but given the start I've had, I'd be lucky to make the Hall of Very Good, which is a damn shame. I bring dishonor to family, for sure. Well, the last stretch of the season is comin' up. Let's knock some fools out of the playoffs!
