RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - Doomraider - 10-15-2020 After winning the Ultmini the sponsorship offers came flowing in for Terry Yaki but there was but one clear choice from among all his suitors. That being Kikkoman teriyaki sauce. What self respecting Japanese company wouldn’t want a championship winning sports star to endorse their product. The deal being for several million dollars a year for 2 years and a life time supply of Kikkoman brand teriyaki sauce. The deal includes Tv promotion, grocery store cardboard standees promoting the product and a Live event in Yaki’s home town of Osaka Japan. As well as promoting the product on the various variety shows he was on while back home. These TV ads would be for both the American and Eastern markets. With each being made for the specific audience in mind. The American ad features Yaki having a bad game going into halftime and then being offered a bottle of Kikkoman brand teriyaki sauce by a man who looks like Mickey, the trainer, from the Rocky films. Yaki then chugs the sauce and begins to feel energized and proceeds to run through the opposing defense. The ad then ends with a shot of Terry drinking and then holding the bottle while smiling for the camera as if it were a gatorade commercial. As for the Japanese ad it was quite different. It starts with a peaceful day until Gamera and Godzilla show up and begin wrecking the town of Osaka. Seeing this Terry Yaki transforms into Ultraman and begins fighting the two monsters until he is knocked into a Kikkoman factory and lathered in teriyaki sauce. He then powers up even further and defeats the two monsters. Afterwards the three share a nice refreshing bottle of Kikkoman brand teriyaki sauce and begin laughing as the screen fades to black. (298 words) RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - The_Kidd - 10-15-2020 My player suffers from male pattern baldness and has since a young age. With a receding hairline settling in around 19 years old, the doom set in early and by now, he as hair thinner than grass pastures in the Nevada desert. Most affluent people. most of the celebrity populous have elected to get hair follicle surgery, scalp grafts, and all types of cosmetic surgeries to replace severely thin hair and dead hair roots. There is nothing wrong with this route except for two things:
My player will be the chief spokesperson to prove that everything is real, legit, and also affordable to every person. Allowing people to keep some level or volume of hair that makes them feel comfortable with letting their hair grow out and not wearing coverings or shaving everything off. We'll even offer laser removal surgery for those that prefer to remove stingy patches of hair that stick around and cause an unpleasant aesthetic(this is also available for any anatomical region). Either way, describe the terms of the endorsement. What kind of product is your player pushing? What type of ads will they appear in to support the product? Have they been working with this brand for a while or did they only recently get the deal? Have some fun with this one and take care not to fluff up your response with word vomit. As a big player on a big-time defensive line and with a big sack total this season, I think my player would be very well suited to do endorsements for Lovesac (giant bean bag chairs). There's all kinds of puns that would work well for endorsements and it's a moderately known brand that could be looking for a fairly well known sports figure to work with. Given that they're a smaller brand, I think it would be reasonable to work with a defensive player on non-TV ads. For TV ads we mostly see the well-known offensive players working with major nation-wide chains, so I think print or radio could make more sense. Radio still offers plenty of room to make jokes about the company name vs. the football sack stat which I think would be the element of humor that we seem to see ads going for these days, while print/billboard could do a good job of showing how their product is large enough for a 300 pound D-linesman to be comfortable sitting in. I'd expect this to be more of a recent development as this has been one of the best years for sacks for my player and so I see them moving to take advantage of that while I might be in fans' minds more, and I'd expect it as a deal for the near future (1 season, smaller number of appearances) with options for more years/ads if they find that they're getting a good return on the endorsing investment. RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - AJay887 - 10-15-2020 PBE Affiliate PT RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - LatinViking - 10-16-2020 Richard Littlewood has recently signed an endorsement with Braun GmbH. On his contract estipulates several photoshoots and TV ads in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese selling his very own, signature Electric Pancake Griddle. The Gillette company (owners of Braun) public relations representative, when asked about the reasons for picking Littlewood said "he's an up-and-coming living pancake machine and we want to sell a product that does pancakes just as good as him! It's a match for the ages" Littlewood to that added "my momma used to make pancakes for me using an old pan, once the company gives me the one they promised me I'm going to give it to her" Going back to the contract, they expect to land in the Latin American market with little to no competition and use the growth of American football in the region to push the product forward. Littlewood will receive not only his very own Griddle but 1% of the earnings of the products sold in the United States and Canada. If the Griddle sell over 5 million products in Latin America he will be paid 2 million US dollars as a bonus. Let's hope for the best possible outcome for this loveable player. 202 words RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - Acsolap - 10-16-2020 SHL Affiliation RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - yonggarius - 10-16-2020 Recently, a South Korean ramen company decided to do make a localized ramed product for Colorado region, since they wanted to increase their market share in the lucrative ramen market of the region. And they chose Yeti star receiver William Lim to be the model of that product, since he is one of the most popular players of the Local favorite football team and a South Korean national. The brand new 'Limmy's white hot noodles' which is -fittingly enough- a spicy chicken flavored noodle that doesn't use red pepper, will come with various pictures of Lim's career highlight catches in the plastic cap (which is a convenient feature that can also be used to cool your noodles a bit), and TV commercials featuring him. Also, the company will be hosting a ticket promo included in the ramen, with the chances to win Yeti fan meeting and home game tickets. Apart from those official adverts and promotions, Lim is helping out with the sales of the product in a somewhat unconventional way. TV broadcast camera caught Lim eating the same ramen he is advertising during the week 6 game against the Fire Salamanders. When reporters asked him about that in the post game press conference, Lim, who had recorded more than 100 yatds and a TD that day, answered that he had that ramen to fend the chilly weather of Berlin away, and it helped him rejuvenate. Whether or not that was true, that had some effects in the region since that game was a prime time entertainment in Colorado. RE: (S25) - PT 2 - Endorsement Money - huck24 - 10-16-2020 When Vincent Jones Jr decided to declare himself eligible, he did not know what his football career might entail. Having not played football at any level before this, no one really knew too much about the son of actor Vinnie Jones before the draft, but after being selected in the second round of the DSFL draft, people began to take note. And now that Jones has a few actual games under his belt, his phone has started ringing from sponsors looking to sign Vinnie to a deal early in his career. Vinnie did not expect this at all, but like his father, he has always and will always be wary of putting his name to something that he doesn't believe in. So, when the calls started coming in from sports drink companies, shoe companies, sports apparel companies and the like, Vincent turned them all away. If he didn't use the product himself, he didn't want to lie to the public and tell them that he did. So, he wanted to wait for something that he felt he could get behind. That something did call and from a very unlikely source. Tide, the laundry detergent company called Vincent, they have long used the slogan 'tackle tough stains' and proposed that the Tijuana Luchadore linebacker who is making a name for himself for tackling his opponents, they felt he would be a great new face for their product and be able to branch out to a demographic they may not be reaching. Vincent said yes immediately. As long as he can remember, he had household chores that he was responsible for and his parents would make sure that they were done to the best of his ability. One of those chores was doing the laundry, and Vincent's go to detergent had always been Tide. So, he jumped at the opportunity to sign with the company. He loved the idea of tackling players on the field and then tackling the grass, dirt and sometimes blood stains on his uniform. So keep your eyes open for Tide's latest campaign featuring the DSFL rookie and make sure that you catch the start of Luchadore games this season, Vincent guarantees that they will have the cleanest uniforms in the league, at the start of the game at least...
