RE: (S31) PT 4 - Dirt - hotdog - 10-09-2021 it didn't take that much effort to research but some reporters have uncovered some information about jadakiss's past, specifically that he used to be a notorious drug dealer in Yonkers before turning his attention to the gridiron. Jadakiss's rap career is well known, and some inspection of lyrics has made this dirty past evident. Lines like "I done sold purp, I done sold white" and "Even had a crack spot together" and "Yeah I used to pop a lot of shit" and of course "Fuck the frail shit cuz when my coke come in, they gotta use the scales that they weigh the whales with." With such ingenuity, it's easy to look past the stories reflected in these lines but yes indeed jadakiss has a long and storied past as a drug dealer and reporters have attempted to run with this story. to these reporters I would beg to inspect who really deserves blame for these actions. It's easy to apply agency to the individual and make it seem like a matter of personal choice, but that overlooks the systemic factors contributing heavily in any storyline like this and removes the blame from the higher powers who have caused this situation to be the reality for so many individuals around the country. So this dirt really shouldn't be taken as any sort of blemish on Jadakiss's character or past but rather a condemnation of the society in which these actions are necessary and even covertly encouraged by the only institutions with the actual power to change them. Crossley is an East Coast man being born and raised in Philadelphia and he did not think he would fit with the west coast vibe of San Jose. Leading into the draft Crossley was certain that he would stay on the east coast going as far to not have even talked to the scouts of San Jose or Orange County until the draft day itself. Leading into the draft Crossley thought he was a shoe-in for Baltimore or Philadelphia and would be able to play in front of his family and friends for every home game. He was so sure of this fact that he only had those hats in his home on the day of the draft. In fact, Crossley did not even appear on Camera during the draft because he had no San Jose gear to wear. Thankfully Crossley, has realized that San Jose is the perfect fit for him and his family. He has made the city his new home and could not be happier with the west coast lifestyle he now lives. While he originally wanted nothing to do with the Sabercats, he is proud to be a member of such a historic and great franchise. He wastes no time addressing the gathered media members. "Look, we all know why we're here. Some things came up in my last interview that need to be addressed. This so called 'reporter' thought they could catch me in a 'gotcha!' moment but I'm not the type of person to be scared off by a question. So I'm here to tell you, right now, that everything that reporter insinuated is absolutely true. And I'm not only not afraid to say that but I'm actually damn proud. So yes, I did bet on football games in college. And if that reporter was actually good at their job they would have found out that I bet on games in high school, too. There's some breaking news for you. And it wasn't just a few games. I bet on a ton of games. And you know what? I always bet on myself, and better yet, I always won. Because that's who I am. I'm a winner. Go ahead and make that your headline. 'Dax Dangerfield is a Winner'. I guarantee that'll sell a whole lot better than whatever trash this two bit reporter is putting out there. We're done here." Dax calmly and confidently walks away. RE: (S31) PT 4 - Dirt - ComebackZak - 10-10-2021 PBE Affiliate |
