My personal belief is that the host city should be in Gary, Indiana. Now hear me out as to the reasons why. Firstly, Gary Indiana is an absolute shit hole, they could really use something going for them other than leading the nation in car jackings per citizen. People truly underestimate what the esteem of having such a prestigious event held in the area could do for a population. Who knows! Maybe in 20 years this Gary could turn into the Utopia that it's founders definitely didn't envision. Secondly, everyone knows a little risk gets the blood pumping. Not only do you have the excitement of watching the greatest game of sim football you've ever seen, but you also get to have the opportunity to experience some live action Grand Theft Auto roleplay free of cost (besides the car). I don't know about you guys, but that kind of thrill is hard to pass up and no other prestigious events are going to come with that level of intensity. Hell, when I was 17 I drove through the city of Gary and got pulled over for NOT running a red light. He told me that's how they get you, if you stop. Now tell me that's not exciting. The Ultimus and Ultimini are not only intended to be an exciting event, but something good for the people, that's why my vote is for Gary Indiana.

If I could pick the Ultimus Championship location, it would definitely be in a space station. I mean, the year is already 2042! Civilization has advanced a lot and there could definitely be fast and cheap ways to reach outer space by now. Having the game in a space station would be a marquee moment for the league and for humanity as a whole. And considering that maybe Elon Musk had a lot to do with the cheap space travel thing, and the important role that SpaceX probably had, I think it would be nice to have a Halftime show featuring none other than Grimes. She has much of the space aesthetics and looks that could make the spectacle visually astonishing and I sure helps that she is married to Elon Musk. I hope that there could a feat. With Spiritualized as they play the song “Ladies and gentleman, we are floating in space.
Maybe there could also be a new rule just for this game where they make the 2 minute warning played with zero gravity and we can see what type of plays, if any, could be made. The whole situation could be fun and broadcasted to the entire world as a proof that humans can really accomplish anything.

I know many people are going to stay within the box for this point task. Picking standard locales in the most typical nations. In contrast, my first idea when reading this point task derived from the Tekken fighting game; the first one to be precise about it. The joy of playing that iconic 3D fighter on my PS1 as a little child sparked my choice for this point task. For those unaware, the Namco team put together a marvelous list of backdrops and scenery that included locations such as: Fiji, Antarctica, Chicago, Greece, Italy, England, Japan, China, and Scotland. No one had touched so many various locales in the video game before. Therefore, I thought about our unused continents to this point -- Asia, Africa, South America, and Antarctica, and decided to choose Manila, Philippines to host both championship games.
Why the Philippines? For one because it has a rich history and culture. Being involved in several international conflicts and a key post for the Dutch India trade routes. Two, because our Pacific Ocean brethren need some proper representation. But the main reason would be because the Taal Volcano would sit in the backdrop of the games. If we’re lucky, we wont even need stadium lights as the magma blasts could provide plenty of natural lighting with some bonus heat to offset those perpetual coastal breezes. For the halftime show, we can have the biggest pinoy football fans recreate the biggest ISFL moments in history as they routinely do for the NBA.

That is the easiest answer in the world. The best place to hold the Ultumini / Ultimus Championships is McMurdo Station in Antarctica. McMurdo Station is the obvious choice because it recognizes the most prominent issue the world faces today – Global Warming. AS we all know, we lost the great states of California and Florida in the mid 2030s, so going to the home of the largest climate research facility in the world will give us some great visibility to the casual fan. On top of that, it really establishes us as the toughest professional football league out there. Sure, in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s XFL they don’t have to tackle and they are given folded metal chairs to beat the ball carrier with, but what is more badass than playing our championship games on a literal iceberg?! Pretty cool in this writer’s opinion. Our biggest competition, the NFL, is really well known for hosting their Superbowl in warm cities, or in domes worldwide. Did you know that the Superbowl has only been played in a domeless, northern city twice ever? This is our opportunity to show the world just how tough our guys are and why we are the number one professional league out there right now.

I’m sure I’ll be the only person with this answer. I would make St. Louis the location for the next Ultimus championship, and Silver City, Alaska for the Ultimini. Starting with the justification for Silver City: that is the city that I (Anton Bruckner) grew up in. The entire population was my family. Currently absolutely no one lives there. I think the Ultimini could give the place a breath of fresh life that it needs to really revive. Plus, that could be my chance to be a hometown hero if I were to play in the Ultimini. As for the Ultimus, St. Louis already has a top notch field used in inferior football leagues. I’m acquainted with the football community there and think the time is right for another league to swoop in and grab that fanbase. Besides, though I know it’s not likely I’m holding out hope for a future expansion there. Maybe a franchise can move in the middle of the night Baltimore Colts style. For decorations I’m thinking solid gold and lots of diamonds. With a dedicated team of 6-7 people tweeting daily for the next week I think it’s achievable. The halftime shows would be choreographed dot marching band complete with midi music. Which is pretty much what marching band is in the initial design phase anyway so it shouldn’t be too hard.

I think a new location would be great for the ISFL and DSFL. With plenty of talk of expansion teams and other stuff floating about, this would be a great opportunity to draw in a whole new crowd. With this in mind, I suggest just outside of the Great Zimbabwe in Africa. A beautiful and stunning area of the world this would create the hype needed to instill a new era of the sim football leagues. Africa has a high population, but not only that, they have the natural splendor to draw in fans from around the world.
That being said, a field might need a lot of work to be suitable for it all but I think only the occasional lion attack or Somalian pirate pillage would be a minor problem. We could always keep a financial amount aside in the case of any players or staff getting taken hostage in order to ransom them back. Again, like I said, just a minor problem that is vastly over shadowed by the incredible upside of the natural areas and rich cultural opportunities available.
