RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - furiousPanda - 06-13-2021 Half way through the season it is going rough for the Portland Pythons with a measly 3-4 record. But a couple users stand out for the Pythons in the locker room. First, zEagle, our fearless leader. He has been there for all the players and users even when things are not looking bright. He works harder than anyone in the locker room. In addition to being a general manager, he is the ultimate simmer, and tries to edge out everyone’s builds to help everyone succeed. ZEagle also makes sure the Pythons get the most optimal lineups. Our amazing GM will turn the ship around and eventually will dig out of the hole that the Pythons found themselves in. The Pythons are lucky to have a great user and player in fever95. His player, Lip Gallagher, is a strong cornerback on a pretty strong defense. He is slowly stacking up deflections and tackles for that defense. In addition, Gallagher is leading the league in Force Fumbles and Fumble recoveries. These stats are difficult to achieve as a cornerback. It is great having a strong player on the team. Who will also help turn the season around in no time. Fever95 is also a dedicated user in the Python’s locker room. He makes sure everyone feels welcomed and helps out in the war room. Code: 222 words RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - AgentSmith - 06-13-2021 Ryan Negs (@negs) has really come into his own this season as the Philadelphia Liberty starting QB both on and off the field. Negs had a pretty rough rookie season, with a 13/14 touchdown to interception ratio, a 67.9% completion rate, and a QB rating of 83.6. He didn’t let this (or the fact that he was sacked 42 times) get him down, and he’s already trending upwards this season, with a 15/10 touchdown to interception ratio, a 67.4% completion rate, and a QB rating of 90.4. He’s passing for almost 30 more yards per game compared to last season, 219.2 per game last season up to 242.4 per game this season. Not only is Negs an excellent leader on the field, but he’s also a great presence in the locker room, where he always seems to be around and willing to shoot the shit with whoever else is around. He’s always positive, finding the silver linings in games where the Liberty lose or where he himself doesn’t have a good game, making sure that we all have someone to cheer for. Negs is the shining light of the Philadelphia offense and the locker room, and he gets my nod for the standout player on the Liberty. Code: 215 Words RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - ReverendOReily - 06-13-2021 Oh man, what an excellent prompt. I am lucky enough to have multiple teammates to talk about both on the field and in the locker room! First up, our wonderful GMs Mori and Blasoon, also known as Brandon Booker and Suleiman Ramza. Their players are definite leaders on the field, with Ramza being the cornerstone of our offense and let’s not forget it’s Booker shouting at the other 10 players on defense that allows the Otter defense to be so good. Next up, a shout out to our entire season 28 draft class, gragg, duilio, shrub, and dally. I am of the opinion that we kiiilllllled the S28 draft and you guys reinforce that opinion every day both in the locker room, and on the field. Okay, maybe Bruckner doesn’t always reinforce that opinion on the field, but you don’t have to tell him I said that. Shoutout to every one in the locker room who participates in our quest for otter world domination via the board game/discord bot Risk. Shout out to our retiring otters, both of whom have been am enormous part of the otters ever since I was drafted there, jeffie43 aka Prince Vegeta, and Thor aka Heep Ebbins. The team won’t be the same without you guys and I hope we can continue to do ya proud <3 RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - dogwoodmaple - 06-13-2021 The standout teammates that immediately jump off the page have to be Captain Rogers and Bob Roberts. Some might call them the heartbeat of our offense and defense and they wouldn't be too far off. First, let's talk about everybody's favorite running back and incredible teammate, Captain Rogers. Not only are they constantly a positive influence in the clubhouse, but they put the team on their back when it comes to needing crucial yards and big plays. Not only that, but they never complain about splitting carries or doing what's best for the team. If someone else gets subbed in at the one yard line and scores a short TD? Rogers is the first one off the sideline to celebrate. I just hope that all my future teammates are as generous and positive as Rogers. On defense, my safety pal Bob Roberts is simply the best. From hauling in interceptions, laying big hits, or simply getting us all lined up, we would be completely lost on defense without them. It would not surprise me in the least to see them in the Hall of Fame one day and it would be my honor to be in attendance for that momentous occasion. Bona fide Pro Bowler, team leader, and one of the finest locker room influences I've ever been around, I think the entire New York franchise is fortunate to have him with us. No matter the outcome, no matter how we play, Roberts is always there to support us. 249 words RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - Pancakes - 06-13-2021 ![]() RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - mango8154 - 06-13-2021 The Minn squad has a bunch of players I could talk about, on the field and off the field, I'll talk about a few as I'm indecisive, a couple off the field especially are my bois and captains Fronk and Icebear, they have been exceptional captains, both of them are great representatives of the team and are great at getting the squad hyped on game day, the teams success has been a no small part due to their leadership. I also want to shout out my boi duckmarriot, he is great at making me laugh especially with his shuckles, he I find brightens my day a lot, and also off the field my boi painted is always great and helpful to the ducklings. On the field especially Mason Malone is a god and I won’t hear anything about it, he is the second best wr in the league as a rookie and is a key part of why we are the best team in the DSFL, there have been many a time where the offence has stalled when Malone just decides no, we ain't stopping and goes on a massive catch and run, he is the Ducks prince and will lead us to an Ultimini, and we will get there. RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - toivo - 06-13-2021 Despite the record, I am proud of this Second Line team this season. You have players out there like Mason Blaylock and Ed Barker. They’re players older than most. The bring the wisdom and experience needed to teach the young players the unspoken rules and what have you of the football league. Kichwa Jones, Slothisberger, McCringleberry; these are all those great players out of the S22 draft. These guys are about to join Blalock and Barker in the old’ens club. They still have a lot left in the tank though. Some of these guys will out work those 5th sixth year players that hitting the prime of their physical ability. Then you have to give credit to guys like Simwell, Zbornak, Light, and Ranger. There’s a lot of leadership out of these plus Rotchburns, Toblerone, Mellott, Spencer, Wadham, Jones, and Witten. If the Second Line are going to make it to the playoffs this season, then these guys are going to be a big part of that push. If these players are clicking, then you can count on the Second Line to have a good game. Wide receiver of the future, Crash, is impressing teammates with his ability to learn the routes and plays effectively. Lots of players that are having standout seasons, lots to be proud about. RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - mithrandir - 06-13-2021 I want to recognize @toivo WR Brock Bodenhamer for his contributions to the New Orleans Second Line offense. He has been the ultimate team player, playing as the #2 wide receiver in our offense while Ed Barker got most of the attention. Now, he has finally taken over as the primary receiver for our offense, and has done quite well. He is on pace for a career high 1,317 receiving yards, and he is in the top ten in the league in total receptions with 62, putting him on pace for 99 catches this season. He has five touchdowns through ten games, so if he can slightly outperform his current pace, he could have a 100 rec, 1300 yard, 10 touchdown season. Looking at the players with more receiving yards than him, only four play in the ASFC, and he and Arizona’s Taro Raimon have nearly identical numbers. Hopefully, a good run for the final stretch of the season can put Bodenhamer in position to make a Pro Bowl in the ASFC. One more thing to keep your eye on: Bodenhamer continues to climb up the NOLA franchise leaderboards. He only needs 7 more yards to pass Paul DiMirio for seventh most yards in franchise history, and on his current pace, he will pass sixth place Dustin Evans. From there, one more 1,000 yard season would allow him to pass Charlie Law and Bona’beri Jones for fourth all-time. RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - Tayjay - 06-13-2021 PT Pass RE: (S29) PT 3 - Teammates - MobiausGrander - 06-13-2021 Oh man, I can't believe that we are over halfway through the season with a few games left that can determine the fate of the playoffs. However, I would like to take the time and shoutout my teammates and team overall for the great season we are having! More specifically though, there are a few players that I would like shoutout! First of all, I would like to shoutout my great teammate and QB, Ben Slothlisberger! Ever since I've joined NOLA, Sloth has been a great leader and teammate especially in the locker room as he cheers us up with his steadfast and joking mannerisms and great stories about his life. I was happy when he finally got the MVP he deserved a couple seasons ago and am happy that he is our QB! Second of all, I would like to shoutout the other of the Medicinal Rangers, Toblerone! I am so glad that I get to be a part of a tag team DE duo with Toblerone! Her combination of strength, speed, technique, and finesse, are unmatched in this league! I also like that we play off of each other on the field and hype each other up in the locker room! Here's to continuing the Medicinal Rangers!! Finally, I would like to shoutout our GM, Mithrandir! He's been the brains behind our team and is always a great and stabilizing locker room presence each game day with his predictions and knowledge about the league! In addition, he always puts us in the best scenarios to win no matter what! I'm super glad and thankful he is our GM! |
