RE: (S31) Ultimus Week - DELIRIVM - 10-27-2021 17. Your team has announced that they will be laying ground on a new stadium next season. What additions would you like to see included in it. No graphics option available here. The New York Silverbacks are planning to break ground on a new stadium for Season 32. The biggest new features that were asked were larger more comfortable seats. The Stadium will be the largest in the world as it is planning to accommodate people in complete luxury for the upcoming season. Each seat will be double the size of the previous seats and feature padded backs, seats, and an optional heating setting. Along with that there will be monitors in the back of each seat with touch screens. These screens will be made available to order food, drink and much more to be delivered to the seat. These changes have been made as the Silverbacks were recently bought by Amazon Billionaire Jeff Bezos. On the field the Silverbacks can expect a full beverage display for their own team and the ability for the opposing team to opt into this feature for a nominal fee. There will also be a tented area for players no playing to sit in and cool off or warm up when waiting for their chance to go out on the field. These areas will sport touch screens showing plays and the ability to rewind and watch plays. Previously done on touchpad while sitting on the bench. Overall the changes for the Silverbacks are among the most next gen in the league and will likely catch on when teams see how much it helps the team. [247 Words] 19. If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be? Sakeem Webb would have a cooking show. Why else would he have any other kind of show? But it wouldn't be a traditional cooking show. It'd be scripted but with actual delicious food. He'd have weird things happen to him and he would solve the problems by cooking for people. Accidentally stood someone up? Cook em a pork loin! Scratch someone's car? Make them some hot wings! Forget a birthday? Creme Brulee! This would be a show that Sakeem would do wonders on as he has fairly dry humor and a good head on his shoulders. He would have members of the ISFL community come on regularly and cook with him. There would be a post show time where he will bullshit with members of the ISFL, Celebrities, Hockey players from the SHL, and other famous people. All while they join Sakeem to cook their favorite meals. Which Sakeem will then give them examples on ways to make the food better. Ultimately, he would have a show that made me people really hungry while laughing! His first episode would feature him accidentally forgetting one of his teammates birthdays and making up for it with a dessert spread featuring creme brulee. Nothing better than something toasty from Sakeem! Just watch out this fall for "Sakeems Sweet Treats" on ABC. [218 Words] 21. Now thats three seasons on the new sim. What are your thoughts? Do you think that it is better than DDSPF16? I think that Draft Day Sports 16 is a lot better than the previous but I think that it is lacking compared to all other sim engines in the sim leagues. The problem is that the AI system for Draft Day Sports Football is just absolute TRASH. Why the hell is it telling someone to run the ball when they are down 8 points with a minute and twenty five second left on the clock. And not only run the ball but call time outs after each unsuccessful run. So you end up with a failed drive that does nothing and one that takes what seems like an hour to do. I think that whoever wrote the AI system for draft day sports is pretty much the worst in simulation sports. There is no reason that they shouldn't be chucking the ball to get first downs on this type of situation. I mean come on, you have a chance to get tons of yards and if you miss you are going to stop the clock. Why does this sim do shit like that? Compared to what the SHL and the PBE have, there needs to be something better than Draft Day Sports Pro Football 16. But for what it is worth, the upgrade to the newer version is definitely a good chance from the previous edition. At least passing the ball is viable now. Before it looked terrible and you would only see receiving yards generated by Wide Receivers carrying people down the field for 50 yards. [257 Words] 25. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why? I originally picked Cornerback because I thought it would be something that a lot of teams needed. This season I will likely go up to play Linebacker and that will be a fun changeup. I don't really know what I will be expecting stats wise but I will be hoping that it will be as fun as playing cornerback. But if I had the chance to go back and pick another position, I would probably pick Quarterback. I think it would be fun to be the one slinging it downfield for touchdowns. Quarterbacks get all the glory and I think it would be cool to be the face of a franchise. Being a Linebacker will be cool and if I can be one of the best in the league it will be even more fun. But being a Quarterback means that everyone sees you as the reason the team won the championship. Of course you're the first to get blame when the team sucks. But ultimately it would be fun to have that kind of pressure. Choosing to be a quarterback seems like it's a big task. You have to be a top end earner and someone that teams are looking for out of a prospect. All while hitting the right situation to not only find a team looking to fill a quarterback hole but also a team that will likely have success with you under center. There is no doubt that I loved playing Cornerback in the DSFL and I will like playing Linebacker for the Silverbacks. But right now, I would answer this question honestly and say that I would love to be the person swinging the ball downfield for big plays and touchdowns. If Dante King was lucky enough to be given his own television show broadcasted for the world to see, it would most likely be a real life docuseries displaying what it's like to be a football player for the Baltimore Hawks. The show, of course either titled Dante's Inferno or King of the Gridiron, would follow Dante around as he lives out the day to day aspects of playing the game at the highest level, from the breakfasts that he prepares for himself (lots and lots of bacon, of course), his daily morning pushup regimen, and even give people a peek behind the curtain at his concerningly regular poop routine (only from the waste up, obviously. Unless a distributor is willing to up the price tag. Let me know.) Dante then goes to practice with the camera crew in tow, where they get lots and lots of footage of him dicing up the Hawks defense in scrimmages, running circles around bums like Sheriff Woody and making his offensive counterparts, Busch Goose and Luke Quick, look like they're moving through molasses. After watching Dante dunk on the rest of the team for a while, the show would obviously move on to his nightly routine of decompressing, but you'll have to wait and tune in to see what that entails. Code: 20. Make a scouting report for any of the ISFL or DSFL draftees. Show their stats, abilities, TPE, or highlights. As the season comes to a close and the offseason into full swing, we draw near to the big milestone of the period - the draft. In the Season 32 draft, we see a good number of promising prospects that ISFL teams will covet and hope to add to their rosters to make a big-time impact. Names that I love to see around the league stick out, like KC15, SouljaBoy2007, juniped, UberBJ, ZootTX, and more all looking like great prospects. But one player in particular needs recognition as we go into the draft, and that is my PBE teammate and all around great person @Beegbeegyoshi . As teammates in Cancun, Yosh is one of the real drivers of a great and active locker room, bringing a positive energy that is infectious with his jokes and insights. His activity isn't always at the highest level, but he does what he can and at the offensive line position, his medium earning abilities will be more than welcome on any ISFL team. He currently sits at 118 TPE, tied for fourth-highest offensive lineman in the draft class, so I don't expect him to go incredibly high. But the team that gets him will get a gem of a user who will provide a lot of value to the team on and off the field! Code: 27. What team do you think has the best branding in the league? What team do you think could use a refresh? Why? It's time to talk once again about my favorite sim league topics, branding! Who in the ISFL has the best brand - location, name, logo, colors, the whole shebang - and who doesn't live up to expectations? I think a lot of teams have made good brand upgrades since I joined the league, with the Baltimore Hawks standing out as a team that used to have a particularly atrocious logo but recently upgraded to a new hawk image that is crisp, modern, and not easily mistakeable for a weird moldy banana. Likewise, the Austin Copperheads and Philadelphia Liberty have undergone changes in the not so distant past to improve their previously lackluster logos. There are really only two teams left in the big league that I have branding issues with. The Berlin Fire Salamanders have a cool concept at their core, but the name and logo both leave something to be desired. The three word, seven syllable name is a mouthful and could be much improved by getting rid of the word Fire. The main logo is very cool, almost overly detailed, but boasts some of the worst text I've ever seen on a sports logo. The other - and worst - offender is the San Jose SaberCats, who aren't offensively bad, just incredibly dull. Stolen team name and location? Check. Incredibly dull colors, that are also stolen from the aforementioned team? Check. Flat, boring logo in a league that has massively upgraded past that? Check. Figure it out, people. Code: 31. Affliate PT from either SHL/PBE/WSBL. The Weeks must match with the timeframe of this UW. And you may only use a max of 1. PBE PT RE: (S31) Ultimus Week - furiousPanda - 10-27-2021 14)Not many rookies have a great season, but rookies usually fall apart, especially on a team that had a rough season and the position that McKyle plays. Quarterbacks always have a rough time in the league, but it is tougher as a rookie. McKyle’s rookie year as the quarterback for San Jose Sabercats. The first game started out pretty hot facing off against the Baltimore Hawks. McKyle threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns. He was only 45 yards from beating out the record for the most yards in a single game, which is owned by Monty Jack. This was a promising start for the rookie and he was one of the league leaders for passing yards. The next three games were rough and all resulted with losses versus the Silverbacks, Austin and New Orleans where he averaged 265 yards a game and 5 total touchdowns. This was a horrible streak, but McKyle did keep up in passing yards throughout the four games. With the next three games the Sabercats went 2-1 beating out Orange County and Honolulu but losing to Arizona. McKyle only averaged 300 yards a game but still kept up with the league. As a rookie quarterback, not much the Sabercats could ask for. Now McKyle has been streaky, and the next three games were all Ls. Losing to really good teams, Arizona, Philly and Berlin. With this set of games McKyle increased his interceptions and averaged 280 yards a game. His inexperience started to show with these games and the Sabercats only won 3 games at this point. Playoffs were less likely to happen at this point. At this point the team was trying to do better than the previous season. Management was hopeful that it is possible. From weeks 11-13, San Jose managed to win two games. A vengeful win against the Silverback who beat them earlier in the season. McKyle kept the interceptions low and managed to score two touchdowns a game during this period. Playoffs are a slim chance at this point but not impossible. With the last four games, unfortunately, San Jose dropped three of them and only won one. With the last game being a slaughter, Colorado scored 69 points against them. Overall, San Jose finished 6-10, which is better than the season before. This with a rookie quarterback in the helm. McKyle had a pretty good season with 4376 yards and 28 touchdowns. I think San Jose should be excited for next season, they could have a potential superstar in their quarterback and they shouldn’t change a thing. The trend is going up for them. Code: 435 words 21) After three seasons with the new Draft day sports 21 in the International League. I feel like some things improved and some things stayed the same from the 16 version. For the things that stayed the same, I think speed is still overpowered. A lot of players will choose this to be their first stat to max out. I don’t think it should be as important as a stat. Another caveat to the new sim is that tight ends are nerfed. They are not getting as many stats and we’ve seen them being dropped or users switch positions. We need to bring back tight ends! But there are a few improvements when it comes to player builds. For example, I like the diversity player traits adds. These builds are getting a little more unique especially with the different archetypes that are available. I think diversity would help users get into their players more which could help user retention. Another positive from the new sim engine is that competitiveness and endurance stats matter. In the last sim, they were put off usually, but with the new sim, I found myself prioritizing these stats. Lastly, I like how sim testing has been wiped out. Now it keeps the guess work on teams and adds a little randomness. Hopefully, Wolverine studios keep improving on their product but only time will tell. Code: 228 words 26) From the old days of rugby and soccer, the game of football has had many rules implemented in it. There are a few rules in today's game that I would want to get rid of completely or change a little bit. The first rule I would change is the pass interference rule. It should be a 15 yard penalty only. In addition, I think the range where wide receivers and cornerbacks could “hand fight” or hold should be 10 yards. Let the players play and be physical. Another cool rule I think that should be imported from rugby, actually I think a couple of them. One is that the extra point scores should be kicked by the touchdown scorer. I think this would be fun for the fans and the players. A second rule from rugby that should be stolen is that a touchdown should have the ball touch the zone rather than crossing the touchdown line. This will force the offense to have more stylish plays and help defense prevent scorers. In my opinion, these rules are not too radical and it could help out the overall product. A lot of fans are sick of the pass interference calls and I think this could mend that. Code: 207 words RE: (S31) Ultimus Week - dogwoodmaple - 10-27-2021 6. Let's take a moment to talk about America's Team, the finest franchise in the country, and perhaps the best locker room in the history of affiliated simulation leagues, The New York Silverbacks. I joined the league just before the Silverbacks officially became a franchise and I honestly didn't know too much about their GMs or anything about which direction they intended to head in. That all changed during the pre-draft process for me in the lead up to the S26 ISFL Draft. Being a first-time sim leaguer, I had no clue what to expect but had been told numerous times by anyone who I asked that the draft was probably the best part of their league experience so far. At first, teams were slow to court me. I received DMs from a few, here and there, during the season leading up to the draft, before finally hearing from New York. Let's just say they left an impression. From their vision, their goals, and their overall mission statement, as it were, they checked every box. Selfishly, I made a "wish list" of teams that I hoped would draft me and sure enough, New York was atop that list. I scoured their recent drafts, looked at their prospects who were then in the DSFL and was heartbroken at my findings. They had a ton of safeties on their roster. I think they had two non-regression safeties who were good earners and only a couple years older than me. Certainly they wouldn't take me #2 overall. I had hopes that I might fall to their next pick, but wasn't sure I'd last that long. I knew that I killed the interview and really had a good rapport with the franchise, but it just seemed like the stars were not aligning to get me to New York. All of that changed, however, when I saw my name and graphic pop up as the second overall pick in the draft. I could not believe it. I mean, there was no chance they'd take me! Was this a mistake? Did they send in the wrong pick? I was absolutely over the moon and couldn't believe how lucky I was to join a young franchise with a fantastic plan for the future. It didn't take long for the Silverbacks to welcome me into their arms and make me feel at home. And it wasn't long after that that I got the call to join the club and get called up from my home in Norfolk. Leaving the Seawolves was bittersweet as they were my first introduction into the league and I still have a lot of friends that I met in that locker room all those seasons ago. But when I heard the Silverbacks thought I could help the team that year, my choice was easy. And they never once treated me like a rookie. No hazing, no carrying their luggage, no strange haircut. They immediately gave off a unique "we want to win but we also want to have fun" vibe that I'm not sure has been matched anywhere in any other league. Our front office has changed since I was drafted, but every single move the Silverbacks make seems to always work out. Whether it's hiring a new co-GM, trading in the draft, or just selecting the best possible players, we have an incredibly strong and stable franchise that has been painstakingly built. All of that culminated, of course, with our recent Ultimus win. It was my first ever championship in a sim league and I could not have been more excited to finally hoist a trophy with all of my friends, coaches, and teammates. I honestly can't even describe the sensation as we watched the clock run down to triple zeroes, cementing our victory and enshrining us into ISFL lore forever and ever. Just knowing how hard we worked for that made taking home the ultimate prize even that much sweeter. We didn't luck into anything. We didn't ride the coattails of one great player. We didn't mortgage the franchise for one star and simply cross our fingers. This franchise was built methodically, carefully, and with even the most minute detail in mind. Will we win another title during my time with the Silverbacks? Who knows for sure. But what I do know is that this group here in New York has changed my player's trajectory, career, and personal life for the better. I am so fortunate to be in a place where I'm happy, have made lifelong friends, and know that we will always be in contention for the playoffs. Life isn't all about winning, of course, but knowing the support structure in place with the Silverbacks' front office gives me infinite hope for the future of my career and for this franchise. We've got great GMs, incredibly nice players, and a culture that supports winning, enjoying each other's company, and always doing things the Silverback way. Here's to another decade in New York for my player. And who knows - maybe my recreate will one day follow in my footsteps and call New York his home! 853 words RE: (S31) Ultimus Week - j00 - 10-27-2021 9. Through a random lottery drawing, you have been named the league's new commisioner for a day. Congrats! What improvements would you make to the league if you had the power to do whatever you wanted? I think the main course of action I'd take at this time is change up the questions for Ultimus Week. It's something like my 6th season now and the questions have gotten stale. I feel like I've answered half of them, and the other half, I have no good answer for. Maybe a few lines, but certainly not enough to write 400+ or even 800+ words on it. But it is much easier said than done of course. I generally find that the topics for point tasks are well done. They are varied, and I've not seen the same topic twice. I can understand that it's pretty much impossible to have that sort of quality over the course of Ultimus Week, but perhaps be a bit more lenient on point earning. Maybe it's just me, but the sim quality is not high enough, and careers don't feel long enough, to justify how much work it is to max earn. And I know some reading this will be like, "Are you serious? You don't even do shit besides a few shitposts every offseason or whatever and the weekly point task." Hey man, it's a lot, and it's a big part of why I'm never max earning ever again. But I also feel like loosening up the reins a bit would also reduce the workload of those running the league, too. It's a win-win. Especially with talks of expansion, you need users to stay, and certainly after Juno retires, I probably won't be in the ISFL again. Maybe there were incidents in the league's history that I'm unaware of, but, for example, would it really be that bad if money was easier to make? Would league quality decrease that much? I remember early on in the league, I saw someone earn like $75 million in one season, just by chronicling every single week/game his player played in, like a sports report. I started to read it, and stopped caring by week 3 or so. And yet, what I took away from that was, man if I ever wanted to max earn again, just do that and earn myself a whole career's worth of bank in a single season. I just find it really silly to do. It's a waste of time and effort to write, a waste of time for users to read, a waste of time for people to grade, and a waste of electricity/storage, even if that last part is absolutely miniscule. I dunno, maybe fiction just isn't for me. ====================================== 13. Expansion Expansion Expansion! The league seems to love talking about it, but it has still not happened. Tell us why it should happen / should not happen soon? I've written about expansion before, but this really ties into my post above. You need users for it, and I don't have the insight as to whether we are ready for it. I can only offer my singular viewpoint of the league not being interesting enough to retain me as a user. But also, having 14 teams is not aesthetically pleasing whatsoever. We really need 16 teams. It's a nice even number. I remember reading an article from Cole Maxwell talking about how he doesn't give a shit about the development or storyline of any game, team, etc. that doesn't involve his player, and that rings true with me, too. It would be like caring about the plot of every D&D game that's going on at the games store you play at, or something. But even then, the league moves really fast, and there is no time to process or marinate. I bet even if I won the Ultimini or Ultimus, that it wouldn't even be that enjoyable. You'd celebrate for like a day, maybe two, and then go right back to writing shit for Ultimus Week or another shitpost to take advantage of the 2x media payout or what have you. Others will just shit talk your team for the next 6 weeks or so until another team wins it. That's how I would imagine it, but hey, I haven't won one yet so I can't confirm. So I would really discuss and consider lowering the barrier of entry for people even further. Sometimes I watch what happens in Tijuana, and I can sometimes see GMs struggling to get a user to get in activity checks, but those users' players could be put to use much more effectively, given the lower TPE cap of the DSFL. I'll just speak for myself, but I feel the TPE disparity is pretty damn big between max earners and casual earners, but the sim doesn't seem to reward max earning enough. "Sim's gonna sim", sure, and if that's the motto, then who gives a shit about max earning? Anyways, maybe it's 'cause I'm an old fart or whatever, but I feel like my singular run through this league, that isn't even over yet, has given me most of what the ISFL has to offer. For that, I thank those who created and administrated the league, and those that continue to. It wouldn't exist without you, and from my perspective, most of you guys do the best you can, and that is admirable effort. RE: (S31) Ultimus Week - JBLAZE_THE_BOSS - 10-27-2021 9. Through a random lottery drawing, you have been named the league's new commissioner for a day. Congrats! What improvements would you make to the league if you had the power to do whatever you wanted? The first thing I would do is boot up a pirated version of Madden 05, Madden 08 – or later – on my computer just to make sure it still works. Then, I would use one of the many volunteers who love the league and wants to improve it and give them my pirated copy of the game. This person would then create a game file where we would have customized created teams. We would have full jerseys and graphics. Stadiums would be unique and covered in customized graphics. I would scour the internet for Madden mods that allow you to sim games quickly and then we can upload them to our YouTube page. See in live 3D living color your players take the field and battle it out. Looks like it’s raining today. Imagine playing a tough game late in the season in Yellowknife as snow fall glistens in the night sky. Remember weather? It’s a big part of football games and this league has none of it right now. Players will develop their own iconic looks with the nearly endless possibilities of accessories available to created players in Madden. I would delegate jobs to people to make them in charge of statistics for each division. We could have actual league members do play by play and color on our YouTube page. It won’t be easy, but it will be awesome. The next thing I would do is make a point to ensure the integrity of our league continues on for generations to come. For this to come to fruition, I would personally be the one who clicks “delete” on the Arizona Outlaws subforum. It is stunning to me that the team that nearly torpedoed our beloved league in its infancy because of their disrespect for literally every single person in the league’s time by being low-life, pathetic, dirty, rotten, big jerk cheaters. The organization should’ve been disbanded the moment we became aware of their transgressions against our league and everything we stand for as a cohesive idea and unit. I would put a team somewhere geographically close to Arizona, maybe New Mexico or something, that way people wonder hey why do they have a team in New Mexico instead of a more popular state like Arizona? Then we’d have a chance to tell the story over and over again so that all future athletes will be aware of what happens if you try and cheat. This might upset some people, but what’s more upsetting is a team cheating to win the Ultimus and I will not hear otherwise. Code: 428 words 22. You’re in charge of entertainment for the Ultimus or Ultimini half-time show. What would you do? I would want to put together some sort of showcase for the Legends of the ISFL. I would bring back some old-time stars from the NSFL to be honored during a state of the art half-time show. I think that a ceremony based around the Season 1 players who ended up in the Hall of Fame would be well received by everyone involved. It would give people a reminder of how far we have come as a league, and even how much more lies ahead of us all. I think it would be stunning to see stars such as: Ian Bavitz, Mike Boss Sr., Dan Miller, Antoine Delacour, Bradley Westerfield, Angus Winchester, Boss Tweed, Josh Garden, and Alexandre LeClair on the field all at once being recognized as the trail blazers they were for the current generation of ISFL superstars. This was just a handful of people, there would be a lot more involved. The video montages and fire works combined with great music will create an iconic moment everyone will remember. It can be come a tradition that every 5 years or so, we honor the players that came before. The Hall of Fame is great, but this could be used as a big time educational piece and who knows, it could even help us create new fans for life. Our league has a beautiful history, a complex history with ups and downs with some really exciting eras. It’d be a spectacle to see! Write 800 words or more on something about anything in the league that interests you. It could be related to statistics, a league issue that you take seriously, or a niche part of history that doesn’t fit neatly into either of the above categories. This must be directly related to the league, so don’t wax 800 words about your team’s participation on a Werewolf server or something. Hello International Simulation Football League members, this is your favorite receiver Jackson Kingston checking in here who currently plays for the Sarasota Sailfish and has formerly played for several teams including the New York Silverbacks, Colorado Yeti, and the Tijuana Luchadores. Today I am going to talk about some of my favorite hype pregame songs before the International Simulation Football League. These are important and related to the league because in order to play my best out on the field I have to get hyped up and motivated in the locker room and these songs are some of the ways that I do that. One of my favorite hype songs is called "That Way" by Lil Uzi Vert, who is about to drop his hyped album "Pink Tape". I am super excited for this album by the way, but that is besides the point. The point is that this song gets me hyped for the International Simulation Football League. Listening to songs is one way players in the International Simulation Football League can build camaraderie and team spirit, as players can bond together by listening music and sharing tastes. However, lots of Jackson Kingston's former teammates have had bad tastes in music, and they like stuff like Original Sound Tracks or video game soundtracks which are mid af no cap. Like put on some Lil Uzi Vert or something you clowns. Another thing that I always do when I listen to music is I stretch for my International Simulation Football League games. There are various stretches which I do in order to get loose to prevent cramping during the International Simulation Football League games. These include lunges, toe touches, side stretches, calf stretches, arm stretches, butterfly stretches, v-sit and reach, and more. All these stretches help me perform at the top level which I perform at in the International Simulation Football League. The impact of these stretches can be seen when I take the field for the Sarasota Sailfish of the International Simulation Football League as the stretches allow me to run crisp and sharp routes and burn the defense. The defense can include bum players like Rich Triplet, Big Edd, and the rest of the Arizona Outlaws defense, and also Rich Triplet again. Anyways, today I am going to talk about my player Jackson Kingston's favorite plays to run in the offense. Some plays have big responsibilities for me to carry out, and I already have lots of other responsibilities in my life like being Rich Triplet's full time father. See, it is hard being a full time father and also being an elite player in the International Simulation Football League. My favorite plays to run in the International Simulation Football League include Four Verticals, Spider Two Y Banana, Curls, Slants, and more. All these routes are excellent routes that get me lots of separation and even more yards for when I play for the Sarasota Sailfish in the International Simulation Football League, especially against the Arizona Outlaws and Arizona Outlaws defensive back Rich Triplet. By the way, Jackson Kingston had an awesome year this season, going for 1,500something yards and 9 touchdowns if I am correct in season 31 of the International Simulation Football League. These numbers were good for the second best yardage in the league and hopefully will secure me a pro bowl spot which would be the fifth of my career. Anyways, let's talk about my potential hall of fame resume. See, the hall of fame is the highest honor a player can earn in the International Simulation Football League in my opinion. I have 10,775 receiving yards at the time, good for fourteenth of all time in career receiving yards at the time of writing this article. I also have 757 receptions at the time, good for sixth of all time in career receptions at the time of writing this article. I also have 68 receiving touchdowns at the time, good for nine teenth of all time in career touchdowns at the time of writing this article. These numbers are pretty solid but I still need to get these numbers up in order to bolster my Hall of Fame chances in the International Simulation Football League. I believe I can do that this season since I have one more year on my contract where I am contractually guaranteed to be the primary receiver in the Sarasota Sailfish offense in the International Simulation Football League. Despite me being somewhat deep into regression, going into my third season of regression, I am still hoping for strong production and I bet that I can hold off Father Time for a few more seasons if possible. Despite my old age, I still find it in me every time we play the Arizona Outlaws to toast Richard Triplet, the defensive back who plays for the Arizona Outlaws in the International Simulation Football League. With all that being said, these were my thoughts on the current state of the International Simulation Football League and my own player and his legacy in the International Simulation Football League. Last season, Beniri T'Chawama talked to the stadium renovators about adding bench warmers to each of the seats in the stands. Despite the petition, it appears that the team and management did not think that Beniri's idea was the most financially responsible idea and therefore this season T'Chawama is back again with a more reasonable request. All stadiums have the generic popcorn stand, the generic hotdog stand, and of course somewhere to get candy and drinks, but what Beniri thinks the stadium could use is a new pancakes stand. T'Chawama knows of a perfect local company to start up a stall in there and Beniri is fully into endorsing the placement of the stand in the stadium. The pancakes can come with special deals for the night's game, endorsements from players such as Beniri, and of course a unique range of sweet and savoury pancakes. Along with the pitch for the pancake stand, Beniri says that the stand and team can start a new tradition where when a player records a pancake on the scoreboard, the select fans would get free pancakes. The addition of a pancake stand to the new stadium is a less financially intensive request compared to bench warmers for each seat, while providing food and rewards for their loving fans. Beniri was lucky enough to have a cooking show with challenges last season and he was also featured in his team's series showing their daily lives, but this time T'Chawama brought to the marketing team something completely different. Beniri has been living in North America for quite some time now and he has got the chance to see all the local stores and restaurants in Dallas and soon Honolulu. With this, he has seen how some smaller businesses that he enjoys struggle financially, and therefore the series would be on Beniri going undercover at these local restaurants and surprising them with a restaurant makeover and a small welcoming party. This would be great as each episode would cycle through different local restaurants and it is a great way to give back to the communities that he is in. The general plot of each episode would be Beniri going to the restaurant as usual and just having their food, speaking to a hidden camera. Then, he would talk to the owner's families about the restaurant's history and discuss a surprise for the restaurant in the form of new equipment and furniture. The restaurant famiy would be taken out to a football game as a treat while the team gets to work in making the renovations. Then, once they are back the surprise is filmed and a welcome party is there to surprise them! (248 words) 26. Alright so as an outsider that has little to no knowledge of football, I think that the rules and game has to be changed so there is more foot to the ball instead of just throwing it around with the player's hands. I know this is a large change to make and it will be hard to implement, but it would provide more value to people that can kick the ball and therefore be better at football. The rule change will be relatively simple. Instead of having the option to kick the ball for a field goal, it will now be a mandatory action item following a touchdown. Also, to get more kicking action into the game I would change the rule that in the team's last chance to advance the ball forward for first down, the team must complete this pass the form of a kick. This would make things more entertaining as the kicker has to be accurate, and the team has to draw new plans for how to best receive the kick. With these changes, the game is more like its name and people will be less confused by the naming of the sport. Also, in addition to this, the changes are not too drastic to a point where the game has changed so substantially it has lost its core values and sport history. (227 words) 30. I am always a big fan of international sport play as it gives players the opportunity to see different players, play with different players, and give them another goal to achieve in the league. I would admit that the first season of World Football Association kind of flew under the radar for me, as I did not join my team's channel on discord until the last second. However, I did see the streams which are once again of great quality and the organizers appeared to be quite on top of the whole thing. I definitely think that the World Football Association is something to continue going forward as it gives a different perspective on the game. As for any changes that I would recommend for the team in charge, I would recommend for them to work with the league commissioner and head office to work on providing more dedicated time for this part of the league, as well as working with the graphics and events team to gather more interest in the World Football Association. This can be done through graphics, media, and even simple weekly recaps would be a great way to catch up and be up to date with the World Football Association. Overall, I look forward for my player to keep playing in the league on the international stage. (222 words) |
