Well here we are a few days past Christmas day and Jeeeeroy Lenkins has drunk his local pub dry as well as consuming his bodyweight in pigs and blankets. He has had a lovely extended break away from his Berlin Fire Salamander family. Lenkins was spending the holiday season at a close family members due to covid 19 restrictions the Lenkins's and close friends decide to escape to his holiday home where the 1 household rule was sort of be nil and void. They had gone to bed early after a few drinks and the kids had been tucked away. Santa's milk and cookies had been laid out as well as Rudolph and the rest of the reindeers carrots and snacks. Lenkins had just got in to bed when around t minutes or so later his door bell rang, was it Santa claus? Who knows but Lenkins took his favourite baseball bat downstairs just in case it was and he was not happy with the white chocolate and macadamia nut Cookies Lenkins had left out. Lenkins approached the door after a couple of practice swings prepared to knock santas head clean of his fat neck. However much to Lenkins suprise there was a box in the doorstep with his name on it.  Cautious and confused Lenkins appraoched the box and opened it. Lying there was a set of brand new nunchaku, there was no card or signature from anyone so naturally Lenkins assumed it was a gift from one of his brothers. It was not until Lenkins leaned down to pick them up he heard a voice from across the street "oi dickhead" was yelled and the figure appeared to make a snowball. Lenkins was confused as it was dark and he was a little bit drunk, the figure then chucked the snowball towards him. It was not until the snowball went 30 yards to the left of Lenkins and smashed his neighbours window did he realise it was Minesotta Grey Ducks Quarterback Ryan Negs that had bought him his gift. The moral of this Christmas story is that Ryan Negs sucks.

It's Christmas morning and Nero Alexander is celebrating the holidays in cold, snowy Yellowknife. He's disturbed from his morning irish coffee by a knock at the door. When he reaches the doorway, no one is there - just a very large package with a San Antonio shipping address. When he opens the package and looks inside, he is thrilled by the contents: a series of mementos from the S14 San Antonio Marshals. Evidently the former Marshals stadium has been demolished to build the world's largest Arbys, and thus everything in the stadium museum has to go.
Inside, he found:
  • A pair of cleats from Morgan Marshall's monster 196 yard game against Kansas City
  • A framed photo of the San Antonio defense celebrating in the end zone after Quenton Bode's 49 yard pick-six, also against Kansas City, signed by Bode himself.
  • A laminated set of draft cards from the team's draft day that saw the legendary Fab V built.
  • A used jockstrap that he immediately recognized as Cooter Bigsby's. The certificate of authenticity states that it's from the game against Portland that saw Cooter throw a pivotal pick on the 1 yard line to lose the game, but Nero knows better. It's from every game. Cooter doesn't change (or wash) his underwear.
  • The jersey Nero was wearing when he recorded his first career tackle for loss, the first in a long career that has made him one of the most prolific behind-the-line-of-scrimmage tacklers in football history.
All of these items combine to take him on a trip down memory lane. As his career nears its twilight, what better way to prepare for the end than to reflect on where it all began.

Another year another Christmas a holiday that I do not celebrate. I’m happy that people get to celebrated and have a good time with family and friends. But I am sad that I do not get any presents from anybody but this Christmas was different. I heard a knock at my door and when I went to my door I saw a giant package at the front of my steps. I cannot lie. I was very happy to see that there was a package for me. I brought it into my home and I tried to look for who it was from but there was nothing written on the package. It was very heavy to bring into my house so I was wondering what it could be. I started tearing into the package and I was in shock. It was exactly what I wanted and what I’ve been hoping to get for myself but have been to busy to get and also a little unlucky with ordering. When I open the package my eyes opened up because I saw a brand new PS5 and Xbox series X. I am a big-time gamer and when I saw both consoles inside the package I was extremely excited and happy. I was super thankful for whoever got me this gift at first I had no clue who would do something so nice for me. But then I noticed on the package there was a little picture of a wave. That was enough for me to know that this package was sent by my best friend Quavious McGrady. He is also a gamer and got me those consoles for the holidays since he knew I’d don’t get any presents from anyone. This was the best Christmas that I didn’t celebrate. The holidays are a great time for people to show their appreciation and love for each other. We should always have reminders throughout the year to really value the things in our life and take nothing for granted. It’s not about the gifts and present giving but it’s about spending time and showing love with your loved ones. Always remember what the holidays are really about. I hope everyone has had a great holiday season.

I am fast asleep snoozing on my couch watching the Sunday NFL games when I hear a knock on the front door. I begrudgingly get up and mutter curses as I approach the door. “I don’t want any damn cookies”, I shout as I open the door to find nobody. I see a FedEx driver walking down the driveway and a mysterious box on my porch. I pick up the box to shake it but find the weight is not balanced well and hear a disturbed meow come from within. Just then I notice the holes in the sides of the box and see a pair of green slitted eyes looking back at me. I bring in the box and open it carefully and what do I find but a kitten. Now I am more of a dog person myself, but I do have a tender part of my soul that loves a good cat. This cat was white with a black and brown splotch covering the majority of it’s back. Where did this cat come from? It was a thoughtful gift but just surprising. Me and the kitten stare at each other for a good 45 seconds before I ask him if he wants some scratches. The cat comes and nuzzles up to my legs and I immediately become smitten with this kitten. I for one, think it was one of the opposing Quarterbacks in my conference. They probably wanted to distract me before they playoff push, but the joke is on them because Quincy has only strengthened my resolve as we have been hunting mice together in my crawlspace and I am even more bloodthirsty for QBs than before.

I was making my coffee this morning when the doorbell rang. Who's ringing the doorbell on a Sunday? So, I go to my door and see nobody's there. I'm a smart man, so I look down at the porch to see a package at my feet. It's plain brown and medium-sized. I bring it upstairs and open it. It's a laptop! Who would have sent me a laptop? At first, I'm thinking it's a scam or maybe it's broken. But I hook it up to find that it works! I get it all set up and updated to find that there's a Word document saved on the desktop. I open it up and start reading.

"Dear, D. Remember all the times we wanted you to play Steam games with us but you said all you had was a Chromebook? Well, here's a laptop since you said you don't have room for a rig."

So that narrows it down. It's one of my teammates, past or present. I start looking through the applications and find Steam, and the new Draft Day Football sim. I know who it is now. It's Tyron Shields. We've talked forever about how we should play games together online but he's PC and I'm console. I've also expressed a desire to help with gameplans. What a thoughtful and perfect gift!
