Oh boy, I have a lot of people to talk about so here we go.
The first person I want to thank for making my time on this league better is someone who was with me at the very beginning, someone from my draft class on the Portland Pythons, Chuck Roth @zeagle1. We haven't really interacted a lot lately, my friend, but know that I still appreciate you. Our little Twitter banter during these first few seasons and particularly when you switched positions really helped me stay active. It's hard to stay interested in a league where I just come in from time to time to claim affiliation, but every genuine interaction I had with you made me want to come around more often.
Next one was my GM for a while and probably the most caring GM I've had in sim leagues so far, @RDBSouthPaw. You kept checking in with me everyone in a while and just talking about life in general, and it never felt like you were just reaching out to remind me to go update or anything. I'm sure you were glad when it did have that outcome too, but I never once thought something like "here's that annoying GM pretending to care about me just to make sure I'll go update". I was glad when you came over to the SHL and accepted my invitation to play with Finland on a loan for the WJC because you really are a great person.
More recently, I have to thank the guys on the Silverbacks for that crazy run and getting a "First Championship in a Franchise History" title on a second sim league. If there's a team without any championship in their whole history on the PBE, you know where to find me. I'm talking here about guys like @zaynzk who's always so nice to me when I swing by the LR and also @TheRocheLimit, who I forgive for pocket calling me on Discord, about half an hour or so after he was officially made GM if I remember correctly. Now with @overdoo joining us we will be unstoppable for the next 10 seasons, Marc my words (get it, cause my player's named Marc).

Starting out, I definitely have to talk about GM of Norfolk. @negs is one of the best in this league. He is always pushing me to be the best running back I can be. Whether it’s telling me about some TPE opportunities, or reminding me to do weekly trainings, activity checks, and weekly predictions, he’s always making sure I get my stuff in. We have talked a lot about my future here in ISFL, he tells me pretty often how great of a RB I am. He also is so positive even when we lose. He always seems to have a positive answer for our situation, which was tough as we struggled this past year. (We’ll be better this year). When we lost to Minnesota, which a lot of people did, he talked about how we stayed in the game and fought until the end.
The wikipage team helped greatly when I needed help with my wikipage. Can’t thank you guys enough for all your help. Of course I can’t talk about my time here in ISFL without talking about my awesome teammates at Norfolk. Every game day with them is awesome, it’s pretty awesome being in that locker room on game day. When things weren’t going our way on the field, this group of guys stay positive. It’s always, “we’ll get them next time.” You can tell these guys are dedicated to winning. So many great times with these guys. During the draft every time one of us got drafted, the chat went completely crazy with people congratulating the person, I can just tell that these people care.
Of course, I have to talk about Z-Whizz and @Crunk for drafting me. Z-Whizz was awesome when he was recruiting, he gave me the feeling that I was going to go to Arizona. It was awesome when my name was finally called, I did talk to Crunk after being drafted, he seems like a great guy, these guys have a great plan, and I’m glad to be a part of it.

Thanks to @Bwestfieldand @woelkersfor not only drafting me to New York but also allowing me to have a huge role in the war room as a first time user with no real “skills” outside of excitement. I am glad that I earned both of your trust enough to leave the franchise with me
@TheRocheLimit thanks for being a great Co-GM; your always willing to step up to help the team in every way possible; I am glad we were able to win an Ultimus after only one season of “officially” GMing together!! Hopefully we can build off this win and keep going
@Trautner, your a dope dude and an amazing QB; I hope we are going to be able to build off the Ultimus win and get you in the convo for best QB in the league
@MN_Moosey love having you around; you are an amazing artist and even better person; I hope we can bring you back to New York

@Void_DCXI thank you for genuinely being a good presence in the locker room; you thanked me and New York a lot for your “attitude change” but you were the one who realized you needed a change and did it; not many people in this league have been able to do that. I am glad you balled out this year for us and won Ultimus MVP!!

This is tough for me because I have only been in the ISFL for about a month and haven’t really gone out of my way much to meet people. I am from the PBE and while there is a bunch of cross over between the leagues, it would be unfair of me to only mention my favorite users from another league. So I will try to keep that to a minimum while also still try to maximize my 300 words.
The first two people I would like to say thank you to are my two GMs in Tijuana which are Guitar Master and Kotasa. Both of them have been very helpful with my repetitive questions and lack of knowledge in the sim. They both deserve the GM of the Year award that they won this past season and hope they continue to do great things for the team. Hopefully we can get that 9th championship next season. I would also like to wish Guitar Master all the luck in the world as he steps down as GM to let Exilate fill in the role. I think he should be able to keep the train rolling.
Next, I want to start out with an apology to all the GMs of ISFL teams that reached out last week and the one before about recruiting. I was extremely busy in my personal life and wasn’t able to respond as quickly as I would have liked to. I would like to shout out all the GMs as it isn’t easy work to do all the recruiting when you have a slacker like me not responding.
Lastly, I would like to thank Drector and Mithrandir for drafting me and welcoming me into the New Orleans locker room. While I do think I was over drafted with some of the other users that created, I will try not to disappoint. I met Drector in the Sloths locker room in the PBE and recognize a lot of familiar faces around the Second Line locker room. And I have seen Mith make a mean minor league player so it will be exciting to get to know you better as we work together in NOLA. Now let’s get out there and get a title.

I've had such an unexpectedly positive experience in this community. So many great people that have made my time here truly wonderful and fabulous. Now I kinda spent my retirement post for my 1st player thanking so many people and tagging so many people that I feel like that it would be redundant to do that over again. However since I am on my 2nd player, and I've had a really great time so far with a whole new cast of characters I'll go ahead and shout them out here.
First of all I have been so impressed by the scouting by teams this go-round. I can't be the only one who has noticed this. I think fo rmy first player I might have been scouted by 3 or 4 of the 6 DSFL squads at the time. And the majority of those conversations were not really conversations. They were essentially surveys. Which I don't mean to call out anybody or put myself above that. During the few seasons that I was a GM, that's exactly how I scouted, mainly because I am not very good at scouting or GM'ing for that matter. But this go-round 6 out of the now 8 DSFL team scouted me and none of them felt stiff. They all felt like genuine conversations. And special shoutout to @Painted who was the very first person to scout me and whom I was very impressed by. The others who scouted me were @IsaStarcrossed for Norfolk. (fellow s18er and legend love ya dude!) @ReverendOReily for Dallas (I didn't even make the connection that this was that rev until I saw the pfp) @slate for London (who I used to update when he was just a baby on KCC!) @frazzle14 for KCC (I love his render so much) @CommishDrip for Tijuana (who I had a very pleasant convo with and also very much appreciates naps as much as I do)
And there was Minnesota who drafted me. I don't understand why the grey Ducks get the bad wrap that they do, it is such a fun bunch. The game nights we've had were wonderful (despite missing out on one that was literally like 4 hours ago.) @Painted, @Crodyman @RussDrivesTheBus (whom has just 3 blue hairs) @UpperNet (who is the greatest artist of all time and whose trombones are the most beautiful) @Gragg9 @TheCC @Muford@Sloths1 (whom is the greatest Baltimore updater of all time) @IceBear32 @CLG Rampage and whomever I am forgetting that hangs out in the MIN locker room. Ya'll are the greatest and I am proud to share an Ultimini with. Let's go win a 2nd one in S30 just for shits
It was not at all a surprise that I ended up in BAL. I had a hunch. A feelimg that it was gonna happen. @King Jellyfish who scouted me initially for BAL and whom I bonded with for how great Stitch is, and really the Lilo & Stitch movie and series was. @Hallmonitor_20 for having big potatoes to give this middling earner a 2nd chance. @Frick_Nasty for technically scouting me literally the day that I retired Dotson way back. @shadyshoelace @infinitempg @Bigred1580 for being the most likable trio of old heads to have the pleasure of sharing an LR with. @Tomasnz for playing chess with me and sneaking away a checkmate on me when I swear I thought I was finally gonna beat an actual human for once. @Bauer for having quite the eyecandy for a player and render and everyone else who has made me feel so welcome in BAL.
There's so many more people I should shout-out, but it's getting late and hey I've already reached my required amount so yeah.

@Modern_Duke@DeadlyPlayer Thanks for signing me to the greatest DSFL team and helping me get started and more and more invested in the league! London was the best place for me to start my journey in the league.
I also want to thank anyone that helped building and keeping London as the best DSFL team and LR. I don't want to mention any names, because I'm sure I'd forget anyone, but I'm talking to all the active users and WR members and all the great London GMs.
My next tag and shoutout has to go to @Dewalt27 of course. Going back to my starting days as a GM of London, you were always there to answer questions I had about GMing or sim testing despite being rivals. You helped me so much growing in that GM role and I was very glad that you convinced Baltimore to pick me in the ISFL draft as well. I also want to thank you for the great conversations, giving me the chance to be the Co in your expansion bid and just being a great friend to me all this time.
Speaking of Berlin, there are also way too many people to thank, so I won't tag them all. I'm super proud what we did the last few seasons and we definitely deserved to win an Ultimus. There are so many people helping in the War Room or keeping the LR active and I'm very glad that despite having a rough start as an expansion team, not a single player decided to leave us in FA. Thank you so much for that!
I need to tag one special person for Berlin here. @Swanty was our first draft pick (after the expansion draft) and I'm very glad that we made that decision. You helped us so much to build the team here and you're just an awesome person in general!
As I already said, there are just too many people, I needed to thank. Thanks everyone for making the league such an awesome place, I never thought that a sim league could be that much fun!

I have a few folks to thank, and not sure I’ve done it over on ISFL before. Anyone who knows me around here knows that this is very much a secondary league for me, so not being too involved in the day to day happenings I do rely on takes from people to keep up with what is going on.
First off a thank you to the Norfolk Seawolves. Norfolk is the best folk, and they drafted me into a championship team where I was also nominated for an award the only time. It was completely unexpected and very cool, and even though I’m not anywhere near what some could consider a high earner, the experience of it happening was quite a ride. Thank you for giving me that Norfolk.
Next up is the Honolulu gang. You guys drafted me back in S24 and the vast majority of my career is and will be when I’m all done spent in the blue and yellow. We had a couple of runs and that is exciting, and I can’t help but wonder if I was a little better at earning, if I completed every UW to the fullest, would I have had enough TPE for speed and endurance to turn that 67 yard reception at half to a 70 yard touchdown reception? Would we have been pushed over the top? Who knows and who can tell. I enjoyed my time on the island, but for me it was time to move on and that brings me to my last group.
To Arizona, and specifically @Z-Whiz, thank you for the conversations throughout my Free Agent eligibility period for making the decision to find a new place to call home as simple as I think it ended up being. There was a lot of mental pull from myself to stay and finish off my career where it had started, or weighing the idea of other teams, but from the first conversation we had (and it took me a little bit to realize) I believe this is the place for me. Arizona has been very welcoming, and I’m looking forward to take our best into the playoffs and see what we can do.
Is it preseason time yet?

I have been avoiding writing this and really any big thank you notes thanking individual people because I know I'll inevitably leave someone out that I would have loved to include, and I'd hate to miss anyone. It has been a long 2 years where I've met countless incredible people, so I apologize in advance if I forget to put you on here, just know that you are still appreciated and loved. Anyway, here goes nothing.
I'll start from the beginning. When I first joined the league, @PDXBaller was one of the first people to help me out and make me feel welcome. After that, @PSanchez55 was the GM that took a shot at me in the draft and led our incredible S14 draft class to a DSFL title. I hope to see you come back.
I then learned that there are way too many Nebraska fans in the ISFL, as I spent a good bit of time light-heartedly trash talking with @Frick_Nasty and @Bigred1580. As far as I'm concerned, you are the coolest and best Husker fans in the world.
I can't forget the great people that I shared a team with on OCO. I'd especially like to thank @speculadora, the one person who thought I was worth taking in the first round of the draft, and someone I miss talking to regularly. I hope you are doing well. @Laser was another amazing GM and great person that I spent time with on the team and playing werewolf with. @jeffie43 @scorycory @Revolution5 @moonlight @MrStennett @rapideagle thank you all for making my time on the Otters enjoyable. When I became an RM, I made friends that I would almost consider family at this point. @124715 thank you for hiring me on, and for being a wonderful person on top of that. @woelkers you are an awesome friend and the only person who's nuts I would ever willingly lick. @IsaStarcrossed my love for you has never faltered even though I did sell out our relationship for a month of nitro. I'm happy I still get to talk to you in Norfolk. @FleshBagSoup aka BAGEL you are the emoji master and a wholesome individual. @ScorpXCracker I wish you all the best and I'm going to sincerely miss you, typos and all. @BaconBrother aka Murtsi, you are my favorite Finnish dude that sends the cutest corgi pics, it always brightens my day. @TomHanks we both share a love for alcohol and make the best podcasts together. Someday I'd love to have a beer with you. @Jay_Doctor it was an absolute pleasure to get to meet you in person and I am thankful to have met you on here. Thank you all for being such an amazing group of friends.
From my time on as HO, I met some people with full hearts and strong wills who did all they could to make the league better (and still do!). Although, I'm having a hard time remembering everyone that was on at the same time as me so I apologize if I miss anyone. @manicmav36 I loved being in HO with you and watching you swear at GM's while simming. @infinitempg you are the man and maybe the smartest person I have met on here. @Eco I know you won't see this but I want you to know that I miss you. @Opera_Phantom I know you were only an intern for a short time but it was a good time and I always like to talk to you. @Bigred1580 I already mentioned you once but you're so great that I had to tag you again. @terriblehippo should change your name to terrifichippo because you are terrific. @AdamS we may not have been on at the same time for very long but I appreciate you and your sense of humor, as well as giving me the funniest jester win and my personal favorite WW moment of all time. @Exilizer you were a great choice to come into HO after I left and I'm thankful for our brief moments together. @bex, thank you so much for believing in me and being a good friend for my entire time on as HO. I know there have been struggles and that it has been especially grueling for you, but I would not choose anyone else as commish. Your hard work has improved this league exponentially, even if it goes unnoticed, or is under-appreciated. You are a great person and I applaud you for bearing such a heavy weight on your shoulders for such a long time. You're strong and I appreciate the hell out of you. To all current HO members, keep up the good work!
Becoming a seawolf was one of my favorite experiences that revitilized my love for the league. @Blasoon, I'm happy you picked me even if I was a 'piss pick' - much love man. @SchwarzNarr you are a lovely person, thank you for letting me borrow your boyfriend every now and then and for the nitro. You have been one of the most positive people I have ever met and I'm happy you joined. Speaking of positivity, @Tesla is one of the nicest human beings on this planet. I'm happy we have a moment to look back on and laugh at, thank you for playing along with my dumb humor and for spreading joy with your presence. @Zoone16 @Jimi64 @ConnorM123 @LancedJack @negs @TMosura @shadyshoelace @ValorX77 and anybody else I'm forgetting, I enjoy seeing you all in the locker room even if we weren't on the team at the same time.
When I made it to New York, I made it to the best darn locker room in the league. @woelkers once again and @Bwestfield thank you for making me a Silverback. @zaynzk I give you a lot of crap as a joke but I really do love you and you are an amazing GM. @TheRocheLimit you are a swell a guy and do a great job as co-GM. @iStegosauruz you do so much work not only for the league but for our team and you deserve a gold medal for all that you do. @dogwoodmaple you're a fantastic guy and a true leader for the team. Tugg (idk your username) I'm glad we got you on the team and I wish you good luck on your twitch streaming. @StevenOSullivan @overdoo welcome to the team, I can already tell you'll be great LR additions. @Void_DCXI you're the heir to the RB starting position and I look forward to watching you eventually break my franchise rushing records. Super happy we drafted you. @platanocat you are the glue that holds us all together, we love you. I feel like I've tagged half the league yet I still know for a fact that I'm missing some people. To anyone else reading this, if you haven't been tagged, that doesn't mean I don't love or appreciate your presence in this league. My overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive thanks to all of you fine ISFL users <3

Man, I honestly don't know where to begin. I've only been here for 3 seasons now and it feels like forever.
To start, I have to thank @iStegosauruz for getting me to join the league in the first place. I did it more so as a joke but now I'm invested for the long haul. You've been a major part in making sure I stay updated which you don't realize how much I appreciate that. Love ya bubs.
To my GMs @Frick_Nasty and @Hallmonitor_20 y'all have been the most incredible GMs I think anyone could ask for. You have made me feel so welcome at Baltimore and showed me what a team should be like. Y'all have been so accepting and genuinely care about all of us. I'm not sure if I could explain how grateful I am for you two so I'll just keep striving to help y'all make Baltimore into the playoff contenders we will be.
To my fellow War Room members, thank you for being patient with me as I still try to learn all the history of the league when it comes to our discussions. Y'all have played a major part in my enjoyment of the league and for that, I am so thankful. @Bigred1580 you have been incredible in the locker room and beyond.
