(S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - xbijin - 07-12-2020 Spike Suzuki played many different positions both on offense and defense growing up. Even though he wasn’t the biggest player on the team, he was fast and could tackle well. His talents translated best to linebacker and played that position all through college. Suzuki entered the DSFL draft as a linebacker and had a productive season with 134 tackles. As Suzuki prepared for the NSFL draft, many GMs asked if he would be flexible to start at a different position if the fit was right. He was completely on board with switching positions if it benefited the team just like he’s always done throughout his life. Suzuki was drafted by the Philedelphia Liberty and soon after the draft, Hall, the GM, approached Suzuki about trying out defensive end to see some field time as a rookie. Without hesitation, Suzuki was up for the change. It was tough sledding at first, but Suzuki settled into the position and went on to have a decent rookie season with 20 tackles, 4 sacks, and a safety thrown in as well. During the off-season, Suzuki decided to put on some muscle. He worked out everyday in his mountain isolation sanctuary and went on a heavy protein plant-based diet. He showed up for the season with maxed out strength on top of his already maxed out speed. So far, he’s had a great season and is able to get into the backfield a lot more quicker than the season before. (S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - Lowlycrib - 07-12-2020 One of them most defining moment of Tyron Brackenridge's career thus far had to be questionable decision by the Head Office to ban safeties playing at the linebacker position. While the safety archetypes may have higher speed their strength and tackling attributed are significantly lower, which hurts teams in the run game and against strong wr's and tight ends. The linebacker archetypes on the other hand are slower and worse at defending the pass. I decided to make the position switch over to linebacker so that I could continue playing at the linebacker position and my stats have remained relatively the same thus far in my career but this change has also had farther reaching effects on the team as a whole because San Jose is known for their ability to draft players that can play throughout the field and remain interchangeable but this new rule out a damper on the ability to remain ambiguous on the defensive side of the ball. Another important turning point in my career is yet to come as I consider entering free agency after this season when I first enter regression in order to make a positive impact for a team aiming to make it to the playoffs and beyond but the potential career trajectories are numerous depending on where I end up playing next sesson. (222) (S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - thevoicelesscreator - 07-12-2020 The biggest turning point in Mo Mamba’s life has to be the decision to leave all he had known in the world of basketball, and pursue a shot in the dark by moving over 1000kms away to a brand new city. This opportunity was football, and as one of the members of the reigning champion Colorado Yeti, you can see how it’s worked out for him. It all started out with a letter – an odd one at that. While the Magic family sorted through piles of offers from high schools across the country trying to persuade him to play basketball for them, Mo sat on the one letter that didn’t. Instead, it was an offer to play a sport that he had never even considered – football. It was an absolute unknown for him. Something completely new, and clear of any painful memories. A fresh start. It made absolutely no sense at the time to go the direction he did, but his gut told him differently. That, and it made it the most sense for his family as a whole. While other schools were willing to provide him with room and board, only Hugh Boyd Secondary was willing to provide Mo’s entire family with the opportunity to change their lives. The optics made much more sense, yet the risk was much higher. Mo’s first couple months in Canada’s rainy city were not easy. His new workout regime saw him redistribute and add a lot of weight on. Having to manage a completely new body at the age of 16 was not something that was uncommon, but for Mo it took on a more literal meaning. As his body continued to change to fit that of a more stereotypical footballer, Mo had to relearn how his body moved, and his physical limits. Evidently all the hard work has paid off, as Mo is now a part of the NSFL, making a living playing the sport that changed his life 5 years ago. For football players that is no different. Many players have moments that they can look back too that made them who they are. They can go back their in their mind and remember the turning point where they swallowed their pride, got tough and made something of themselves. For Brach Thomaslacher that moment came at a very young age. Back when Brach was playing pee-wee football he had moments where he was just too scared to go out on the field becasue he was afraid of the contact. His father noticed that and decided to sit down and help his timid son. He spent time with him going over how push through the fear. That in life their will be moments will you either rise up or falla down. Brach really took those words to heart and has lived by them for his entire playing career. Those words have helped him get through injuries and set backs. Even when he fell all the way to 17th overall in the most recent DSFL draft. When things seems to be going against Brach he will always just put his head down and make sure to focus on those words that his father said. Using that he will always push through any obstacle that he faces, both now and in the future! (S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - TheRocheLimit - 07-12-2020 Sophomore year. Week 5. At home against Oregon. THAT was my turning point. I was having a hell of a year. After a solid freshman year I came into my sophomore season ready to prove that I was the best linebacker in college football. The first four games I felt like I was shot out of a cannon. 10+ tackles every week. It felt as if the game was slowing down for me. I could see the play before it developed. I was beginning to feel invincible. And then it happened. We were on defense in the second quarter against the Oregon Ducks. They were driving, and we needed a stop. Coach dialed up a blitz, sending me right up the middle. The quarterback faked the handoff, but I didn't buy it. I knew he was keeping the ball. I blew right past the running back and put my shoulder right into the QB's chest. He went down in a heap as the ball popped out. Unfortunately, something else popped too. I knew immediately something was wrong with my shoulder. I tried to stay in the game, but the coaches and trainers did the right thing and pulled me off the field. I spent the better part of the next month rehabbing. The injury wasn't severe, thankfully, but it was the first time I had missed games due to injury. It shook me. All of a sudden, I didn't feel invincible. I felt very mortal. I thought long and hard about football. I thought about what the game meant to me and my place in it. I doubted myself, and my ability on the field, for the first time I can remember. After a lot of internal back and forth I decided that if I was going to continue to play the game I loved I need to player smarter. Not just harder. I had always prided myself on playing with a reckless abandon, but I had to do things differently. A month later I was back on the field, doing my thing. But this time, I was playing with my head AND my heart. And it has made all the difference in the world. (S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - UpperNet - 07-12-2020 Net Gaines always been a athletic on the field, no matter what position he would always make plays, in high school he literally played every position on the field, on offense he played QB,RB and WR. So what on saying is net gained was defined as one position, but when he got college offers he had to pick one, so Net went with the position he can cause the kodt caos on and picked LB. Net wa sa superstar LB and got many stats and even got drafted in the DSFL draft at #10 but playing LB in the higher levels Net realized he wasn't really enjoying LB. He wanted to be the in the spotlight, he wanted to make game changing plays. Net took a risk and decided to change his position in the higher levels right when he was about to hit prime at LB, Net decide to become a WR. How this change impacted Net? Net is now one of the most dominated WR in the league, currently 2nd in receiving yards and 1st in TDs. This change gaved Austin a dominated WR that is at the peak of his career right now and hopefully give them a push to another ultimus in these few seasons (S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - LGMForever - 07-12-2020 PBE PT Affiliation (S23) - PT 4 - The Butterfly Effect - Evok - 07-12-2020 http://probaseballexperience.jcink.net/ind...ndpost&p=198511 |
