RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - musha6570 - 02-27-2021 I got an interesting call from my agent the other day. Apparently, a major pro wrestling company has reached out about a deal. I obviously can't appear during the season but in the offseason, I could. I was seen at a local gym I work out at by a wrestler and he thought I looked the part. We did chat and he mentioned I should think about it but I never thought it was anything more than a conversation. I grew up a huge wrestling fan and many former football players have headed into it after their careers were done. Some dabbled during their careers and then went full-time after retirement. I told my agent I was very intrigued and he confirmed it would be huge for exposure. I was just a rookie tight end in the DSFL and could use a little name recognition. I agreed to do it and three weeks later I flew out to Vegas to appear on the show. When I arrived everyone was great and helped get me to the right places such as makeup and wardrobe. Finally, the time came to head out to the ring, and some generic beat hit, and I was ushered out the curtain. I walked to the ring waving and the fans seemed responsive. I was introduced by the announcer as an all american football player which is true and the crowd cheered for that tidbit. After that, I went backstage and was told I did well for my first time out in the open like that. Needless to say, I was impressed and have agreed to return in the future. in the offseason, I will train for some in-ring competition. Look for me in a wrestling ring near you in the future. Code: 295 Words RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - Ry_ - 02-27-2021 Zoomy Boi: The Running Fool that revived his career, just by zoomin a little faster than the Rest Darrel Williams has finally been approached to create a blockbuster movie about his life, following his long-awaited breakout season during Season 27. Once he moved to the Liberty, he worked incredibly hard, and finally achieved the top-line speed he has been hoping for since his high school days. While to some this might not be the most interesting story, the "betrayal" of the Hawks(dramatized for theatrical purposes), his stint with the Yeti and their attempt for a title, and now when everyone counted him out and was waiting for his retirement notice, he got a fat contract with the Yeti, continued to train Darrel Williams Jr., and began to Zoom, faster than anyone had ever expected him to Zoom before. Of course, he doesn't look like the Flash, but it's not hard with CGI these days in the 2040s to make him look like it. Football has to be interesting, and Zoomy Boi definitely stretches the actual athletic abilities of Darrel a bit here and there. But watching him struggle at LSU, clap cheeks in the beginning of the DSFL, and then slowly but steadily work towards this moment of being good enough to have his own movie, Darrel Williams hopes this movie will become the new hit next summer! 231 words RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - Amidships - 02-27-2021 Sorry to make you grade this when I have a pass, but this one seemed fun. ![]() RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - Bruins10 - 02-27-2021 SHL Affiliate RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - Kevin5010 - 02-27-2021 Beau knew becoming a prospect for a pro football league was going to make him famous. He never fathomed though, the reality of it until his dad was approached by Mr. Stevens for a spot in his upcoming blockbuster. Stevens was a famous film director known around for his ruthless personality and a no bullshit direction style. Beau’s parents enthusiastically displayed their joy on the phone as their son would be a movie star. “Mom dad, please. Just let me talk to whoever this Stevens guy is and then we will take it from there. I wanna see what they are offering”. After some more small chit chattering Beau received a ring from an unknown number. After apologizing and telling his parents he loved them for the 100th time, Beau answered the strange new call. “Hello Mr. Novak, I presume you’ve heard from you parents the reason I am calling.” Beau was temporarily stunned in awe before he realised he needed to answer the man. “Yes of course. I am assuming this is Mr. Stevens?”. “Yes, now let's skip the small talk and get straight to the point. I want you to come here to my studio and be a side character in my next show Relay to Fire. You will play Ed, the main character's fat friend who becomes a big time douchebag.” Beau was puzzled by this. His whole life he secretly dreamed of being on the big screen but when his chance was finally granted, it was to become the role of a jerk. A fat one too. “I’m sorry but I don’t think you mentioned the contract outline yet”. A loud annoyed grumble came through the phone. “Son, you should be the last person asking for money. The chance to star in such a blockbuster for a massive name like me is worth the work. Stupid kids these days. Beau even me saying your name should be a lottery win for you. Now just accept the damn deal and I’ll see you every weekday next month”. “But the DSFL Dra-” “But nothing. Watch your tone or yo-” Beau promptly hung up the phone. That's why it is very unrealistic that a reality TV show would be centered around him since it would be the most boring piece of television ever filmed since the first Big Brother came out in the year 2000 (oh my god, please do not quote me on that year I am way too lazy to look that up and I am just doing an uneducated guess). So back to the main topic: Guy Fields is a superstar. But only on the field. His accent keeps him from acting in most movies unless someone is looking for an Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator that is slightly less buff. But if there was a role for him it would be the role of a background extra in a Star Trek movie. It would be perfect for him since he is a big Star Trek fan ever since he was a little kid. Also he would not have to act, which is always a good thing. Also, which may just be the cherry on top: he would not have to speak, since he would just be a background extra, pressing some buttons, or running around the ship excitedly while it is on red alert or simply dying to a Klingon phaser shot as a red shirt. Perfection. RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - toivo - 02-28-2021 The agent delivered a manila envelope with the details of the new gig. After cracking open the envelope, the ink that forms the letters which form the words which form the statements describing the way my player will achieve superstar status. An action adventure adult cartoon show with my player as the star. The deal also gives my player producer status on the show so that he can put his own personal taste on the show. The target demographic is 18-49 adult males which should elevate my player’s status in the celebrity world. This is ultimately a great plan for retirement after football. We can’t all stay young and play football forever. Therefore, this adult action adventure cartoon will be created and a documentary formatted project will take place describing the process of creating the cartoon. Should the cartoon fail, my player then has a backup plan with a documentary documenting the creation of a failed cartoon show and the fall from grace that a former football player that wants to be a star. This is sure fire way to become a star since it has a solid plan and even a safety net in case that does not work out as intended. Sign the dotted line and star status achieved. It pays to have a good agent looking for stars. RE: (S27) PT4 - Superstar - Vorshayla - 02-28-2021 PickSix II gets approached by a documentary crew to reflect on his lineage as a football player. He talks about living the shadow of his father, who won 2 ultimus championships before injuries ultimately forced him to retire at the peak of his career. In addition, the struggles he had to face just to try to break out of the mold and be his own person. The docuseries follows PickSix II throughout his first season in DSFL from being drafted by his father's team, to doing what his father never could in the DSFL by winning a championship with the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. It also shows his disappointment during the ISFL draft as he went from a sure-fire first round pick, falling to the 16th pick to the Butchers, how that experience made him play with a more aggressive edge and with a chip on his shoulder, like he had something to prove to the other teams that passed on him because they didn't think he was worth the money. Finally, his triumph with doing something in the league that his father never did as well, which was actually live up to his name sake and return an interception for a touchdown to score his first defensive points for his team. In flashback montages, the series also focuses on the prospect bowl, where he set the world on fire with 3 INTs 5 PDs a FF and a FR in one game, showcasing that he was infact blessed with inheriting his generational father's strong football genes, along with highschool highlights detailing that PickSix II was always destined to be superstar, whether he had a famous father or not. 278 words |
