RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - Kotasa - 08-08-2021 Rich Triplet’s season has been pretty solid, he’s second in the league in tackling as a CB and still only has a 60% completion percentage allowed against him. He has also eclipsed his pass deflections from the last season at a cool twenty eight in ten games compared to 27 in 16 from last season. Overall it’s a mediocre season, as a cornerback I have two jobs. First, make sure they don’t catch it which I’m doing pretty good at, but second is to ensure that they turn the ball over. While I do have a sweet forced fumble and fumble recovery I do not have any interceptions. My case for cornerback of the year is pretty much shot on the season with Vaugne having a crazy season and we all know TDs win awards. However I am climbing the AZ PD leader board as I’m 4th right now with six more games to go on the season. My main goal is first overall in PDs in the history of the league. I want hall of fame so badly that I think that and a cornerback of the year award that was wrongfully stolen from me two seasons ago will get me in the hall. Arizona is playing great though so I am happy with that! RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - bex - 08-08-2021 Raeni Clarke doesn't have any strong goals or expectations, given that she is still definitely adjusting from her DSFL mindset into her ISFL reality. She's also still working to hit her stride as a safety after spending so long on the other side of the ball. Either way, she's hyped to be part of the squad, and to continue to grow as an athlete and an individual. If I have to pick one thing that she's working on and hopes to improve by the end of the season, I'd have to say that she would love to be able to get a defensive touch down at some point before season's end. That would cement her as a top tier rookie, and bring together all of the elements of her football career, melding her offensive past with her newfound defensive future. Ultimately though, as a rookie, it's hard to have crazy expectations. Raeni and I are just happy to be at this point in her career where she can work her way up in the league to be a dominant force on the defense. If she could win rookie of the year, that would make me feel so happy, but I recognize that nothing is ever a guarantee in a league like ours. So I'll just hope for her strong rookie season to continue, award at the end of the tunnel or no. WC: 232 RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - Daybe - 08-08-2021 For the rest of the regular season this year I want Jackson Kingston to continue to be putting up as many yards as possible. A career goal with Kingston of mine has always been to reach at least the top 3 in career receiving yards of all time among every single team throughout the league history, and right now, I feel like if I play out the rest of my career fighting through regression this will be a fully attainable goal for me. Although getting to that mark will be tough and a surefire challenge, I feel that the Sarasota Sailfish will help me get there with their high level passing attack and offense in general with lots of high level TPE players everywhere. This means in the short term this season, I want to end with at least 1400~1500 receiving yards and hopefully more, along with a pro bowl berth which would make for my fifth of my career. Considering where I am in my career, being in regression nowadays as a S23 player, I feel like these goals are a challenge for me to get to but still attainable and I always want to be pushing myself throughout my International Simulation Football League career, which is why I made the free agency decision to join the Sarasota Sailfish. RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - Haseo - 08-08-2021 Code: 254 words On the season, Zack DiNozzo has 51 catches for 531 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also has 29 pancakes but has allowed 1 sack. This is actually a lot more than I expected to have at this point in the season considering that we have some great wide receivers in Despacito Jr, Holloway, and The Onion Man. The offense is doing ok right now, but our defense is kind of letting us down. Personally, I have been trying to increase my strength so I'm harder to bring down. I'm also getting hit with a lot of penalties by the refs so I've been spending time watching my game film so I know what I'm doing wrong. I need to take steps to correct these issues I'm having with penalties (increase intelligence). I should also spend some time working on my hands by doing some extra catching drills after practice. After all, I need to make sure Ramza is comfortable throwing the ball my way. I don't want to get my number called at a critical point in the game and drop the damn thing. I need to be able to bring everything in. I'm trying to make a case for Tight End of the Year, and as a rookie, I can't believe my chances are actually decent. If I can catch a few more TDs and get loose for some more yards, I can catch San Lorenzo. Rookie of the Year is definitely an improbability but who knows what the sim gods will decide. RE: (S30) PT 3 - Short-Term Goals - JKortesi81 - 08-08-2021 When it comes to the performance of Bayley Cowabunga and the Austin Copperheads, it feels like a lot of nitpicking. The Copperheads are currently 8-2, and while Cowabunga has been a part of that great record, he has not really contributed to the degree we’d like to be. With only 700ish TPE, that makes sense. But at the halfway point of the season, I’d like Bayley to become a more consistent part of the offense. This can be achieved by increasing Bayley’s endurance so she’s on the field more often, which is a goal set forth by myself as I update her. Bayley also needs to get more targets. Her competitiveness is maxed out and as a result Cowabunga tends to get every ball whipped her way by Jackie Daytona. Granted, its hard to see the ball very often in this potent Austin offense, as Zoe Watts, Videl San, and Jim The Vampire all see their fair share of touches during every game. Its on Bayley to make sure she’s doing the best she can when the opportunities come her way. I think improving her agility and her endurance will help Bayley stay on the field longer and be even more productive with the opportunities that are sent her way. Training in these areas are exactly what Cowabunga needs to take the next leap to super stardom. (227) |
