Have you ever heard this phrase: "Who watches the watchmen?" I feel like the league needs some sort of oversight for the Head Office. Perhaps like the United States government with a checks and balances system. The reason I feel this way is that I think sometimes Head Office ends up being like an Old Boys club, if you will. I feel like many of the decisions that have come out over my time in the league have a palpable bias, and while I know there is an appeals committee, that only affects punishments. There is no system to counteract changes or other decisions that Head Office enacts. You may say, "Stenny, aren't we supposed to trust the members of Head Office to do what is in the best interest of the league?" Yeah, I guess you can say that. We don't choose who becomes a member of this prestigious group though, do we? Nope, they do. They self replenish themselves of their own volition. Therefore, how can you not have anyone to say, maybe you guys aren't on the straight and narrow here? I'm not trying to throw shade at any particular member of Head Office, or any group of members as a whole. I'm just looking at this and thinking the league needs a way to govern the governors.

I would really like to see a graphics highlight each week. The winner might earn a bit of money or TPE prob not TPE but yeah that'd be a cool change id like to see. Could also be a winning written submission too. The league also needs more international teams in the ISFL because right now it's only American teams. I really like the new website. I think there needs to be a change to how twitter works, don't know what it is, but currently it's pretty average and whatever. Weekly predictions being every other week was annoying. Either do them all or not at all. The graphics options for Point tasks need to come with an example, the guidelines are often vague and confusing. As a newbie and someone who only plays one sim league it's cheap to be able to cross credit from other sim leagues but I see why it's an option.

League needs to change how the DSFL is played next season, if your wanting that league to be a league in which it's fun for the user and not super serious you need to add more games. It was so boring waiting whilst also watching NSFL play three times between DSFL matches. It personally didn't make me want to get sent up, it made me less involved.

Hi Bex and/or other members of HO that might read this! I wamt to start off by saying that I love the changes going into effect now and over the offseason. The new name is a much easier sell (though the logo is still decidedly American) and a new site that is fitting of the 21st century are both big tasks that I know took a lot of people a lot of work so thanks you to everyone involved. That being said there is always room for improvement and think there is no better or more agreeable place to start than the banning of the most toxic, meanest, Prehistoric user out there. I am of course talking about iStegosauruz. That guy sucks.
As far as real ideas I have I think transparency and open communication is always something to strive for. It is something that has greatly improved since I joined the league but maybe I always like to hear the the reasoning for decisions, even the ones I agree with. Perhaps I'm just impatient and nosy... nope it's you who is in the wrong, whoever is reading this. I need a few more words but I can't think of anything else. It sucks that I openly complain so much, I didn't have anything saved for this PT.

There is one major change that I wish would be implemented soon, and you can probably guess it by the title of the latest Trivia task: I think that Head Office needs to swap out Trivia and bring back weekly predictions. When the schedule was expanded to 16 games, and Trivia and PT necessarily resulted in another week of TPE, there needed to be something cut to balance out the seasonal TPE earnings, and non-Friday game predictions ended up as the causality. But in my opinion, I believe that the league should go on the second original proposal: keep the predictions, and axe Trivia. For one thing, predictions postings for every week of the season increase forum usage more than trivia postings do. While predictions may not be as creative as PT tasks, and copy and paste can often be used instead of actual thoughts on the week’s matchups, it would be intentionally ignorant to say that Trivia is much better. Each week, a couple of people do actual work to get the Trivia answers, but the rest of the users simply copy the answers from their team discord chats, meaning that the entire point is lost. Furthermore, on behalf of the PT team, predictions are much easier and less time consuming to grade.

One area of the league that I have been particularly interested in finding ways to improve is the new user experience. If you’ve spent any amount of time reading media posts or this and other point tasks, you’ve probably read about new users who have had a tough time learning how to be an effective member of the league. My introduction to the league was very similar. The ISFL is the first sim league that I have participated in, and as a new user I remember being quite confused and overwhelmed by the information available to me after signing up. I remember leaning heavily on the rookie mentors in our league discord channel, but also just copying “workflows” of other users to make sure that I wasn’t missing any TPE opportunities. It took me a few weeks to really feel like I had my feet under me and had a good understanding of the weekly work cycle that the league required. I hope that with the omnibus work that is currently in progress that this work can be redone in a way that is more intuitive to users and easier to approach for other users that are new to sim leagues. Places like the player creation process have been of particular interest to me, and i hope to design the new process in a way where users feel like they understand the basics of the league and know how to progress their player.

As of right now, I wholly support the changes made by the front office. All of them are sure signs that this league is quickly becoming the fastest growing sim league on the net. Growth is a great thing, but it also presents a problem in and of itself. S22 was one of the largest draft classes on record, and its many active members are ready to claim their own places on a major league roster. Seasons 23 and 24 have also seen many of their members remain active as well. On top of all this, S25 is slated to be another r/NFL class. If history repeats itself, than S25 will be another large class. With all these new users entering the league, it is imperative that the league expands. However, I don't mean a two-team expansion like past expansions. I mean a four-team expansion. Then, the league can reorganize into four divisions across two conferences. Not only will this provide more roster spots for players to fill, but this will allow for a larger playoff field. Each of the division winners would advance with an extra wild card birth to the best non-division-winning record from both conferences. I also hope that this will help make free agency and trading more interesting. As playoff seeds become scarcer, hopefully teams will be more inclined to buy extra talent.

First things first, change the name. ISFL is big succ. putting an I as the start of an acronym? are you kidding me? the biggest of dumbs. We have one pro international team, and its only in canada. In the minors we do have 2, but its a mexican team right on the border, and then a london team. So its silly to call it international. The reasoning "because we have an international fan base" is silly as well. the NHL has a very international PLAYER base but they aint changing their name! Its stoopid. A much better name would be the Alliance of Simulation Football, or ASF. Capitalize on the dead AAF and the hype it brought, and also just not be FRICKIN DUMB

Next thing, ban everyone who likes predictions. Predictions are a chore and a frickin cancer to keep up with. So we must ban everyone who thinks otherwise.

Next, ban everyone who came from a reddit class. Y'all have made my life hell so you now lose existing priveledges.

Last and most importantly, we should ban all agents. Agencies in a sim league are just dumb and nonsensical as a concept. If you want something, just ASK for it! its not the NFL with a convoluted contract system. On top of that, agencies just add so much red tape
