Due to this year being the first year on the new sim, the Ultimus and Ultimini must be somewhere memorable. Everyone is gonna say Hawaii or some regular popular place. For a truly special location the Ultimus and Ultimini should be played in the underwater city of Atlantis. No other location could have such an epic setting for the biggest games of the year. The teams would be welcomed by Poseidon himself with him in attendance for the games.

Atlantis’ Greek roots make the perfect setting for the greatest competition on the planet as Greek traditions are what built the first great spectator sports. The halftime performance would begin with the field opening at the center with a platform rising up in its place carrying the legendary Bikini Bottom band. The audience would be shocked to see that Spongebob and the rest of the band are real and human sized. In this shock, the arena would be deafened with silence for what feels like minutes. Suddenly the arena would erupt as the drums and cords of Sweet Victory begin to fill the space. The crowd would go wild. Teams would ride out in massive chariots pulled by great sea horses as they enter the stadium. no sports performance would ever come close to the magnificence of this event.

The Ultimus would be best served in a city where it can be at least facially neutral - a city without a current ISFL or DSFL team. As a bonus, it can help us scout potential interest and suitability for that city to have a franchise in the future. For this round, I would put forward Tokyo. It would be our first foray into Asia, and though baseball is more popular out that way, there is some interest there in American football. There is a high school football scene with a national championship, the Christmas Bowl, going on almost as long as the NFL's Super Bowl. Plus, the players would get a pretty nice travel package out of it to a place many of them would otherwise never get much of a chance to go to when the ISFL and DSFL schedules don't take them out that way. I would also hope it starts up a trend of testing out cities or at least having host cities where we don't already have teams. If not for market interest, to reward the conference champions in each league with a league-sanctioned trip to a place they have not already seen one to three times this season. I understand it's not exactly a vacation, and that it's business, though it can still be fun for the families, too. This undertaking starts in Tokyo if I have my way.

Well after the warm up bowl also known as the Superbowl between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the second biggest American football team in Kansas city the Kansas city chiefs it is time for us to draw our attentions to the the ISFL and DSFL bowls and not that the National Football League does not have a meaningful game for another 7 months now is the best time to start. I am going to be completely bias and say that the Berlin should be the host city and the Berlin Fire Salamanders stadium is the perfect venue to host them both. My reasoning behind this is simple, Berlin is the capital of Germany so there will be plenty of hotel and air B n B choices for fans to choose where they stay. I also think by us choosing a European city to host both the ultimus and Ultimini it will help  separate us from the national football League and the college game. Hosting a major sporting event outside of North America would be massive and would draw attention to our game. I mean even the World Wrestling Entertainment thing has not had a wrestlemania outside of North America. Come on guys Berlin for the Ultimus you know it makes sense. It also means my team and I will not need to travel back to America when we make the bowl.

Considering this years super bowl was in Tampa and won by the home team buccaneers, it’s only fitting that this Ultimus be in Chicago to be won by the home team Butchers! Theses big games are always in a dome or out in some sunshine state. I want to see these teams Duke it out in some cold weather. Chicago is a city with huge population, and it looooves its sports. It’s a perfect fit, turnout would be massive and not to mention with the Butchers going to be making it easily with no competition at all we can have an ISFL team win the chip in their home stadium. Another big reason is because when I win an Ultimus I would like to enjoy a delicious pie after the win and what better place to get a pizza than Chicago? New York? Please. Keep your thin crust I’ll take a deep dish any day. As for Decor I would deck the place out with the banners from previous championship games, play a highlight tribute for the old champions of the past, and just honor league history with all of it. Halftime is too easy. All these pop stars keep getting put up to do halftime shows and they are almost always mediocre at best despite good effort they just aren’t good shows that everyone enjoys. I would take it back to rock and roll of old with a band that brings the house down in every show. AC/DC. They would absolutely kill it. Talk about a band that knows how to put on a show in concert. They get loud, they get the crowd going, they’ve got pyro, I’ve yet to see or hear of a bad AC/DC concert. Plus announcing the home team Butchers to back in black would be fire.

With the new Mars rover touching down this week, let’s capitalize on this excitement and go big. Ultimus on Mars!

This has several benefits for everyone.

First, the land is free since nobody owns Mars. There’s not much there right now, so we can pick any spot we want. We don’t have to worry about traffic or parking.

Imagine the publicity. The ISFL is the first league in the world to host its championship game on another planet. Users will flock to the site by the millions. NASA becomes an official sponsor. The league starts raking in billions of dollars per year. HO buys an island in the Caribbean (for the losers who stay on Earth) and obtains control of Mars. All users as of this moment are equal partners in the company, and we all retire…on Mars. We will literally own the world.

As the first manned mission to Mars, we can do anything we want. Build anything we want. Money doesn’t matter because we’re in control.

We’re basically living gods. All because we decided to host the Ultimus on Mars. Amazing.

But wait. Won’t there be sickness? Travel costs? Who is building all of this stuff? Isn’t it too cold to play football outside on Mars?

Don’t worry; this is a sim. The rules of the real world don’t apply.
