If Tugg Speedman were asked to be asked to go back to his high school in Cleveland, Ohio to coach in replacement of his former coach - he would reluctantly agree if it was a bye week and the New York Silverbacks allowed him to do so. Tugg would take over the system he grew up in that was instilled by his former coach and get the players pumped up before the game all week and give them advice and guidance an International Simulation Football Player would be able to give them. During the game the team gets out to an early lead and never lets up. The team comes into this game with a ton of energy and momentum due to Tuggs presence and this carries them to a blowout win over a conference opponent who didn't rally pose a threat in the first place. The team runs for over 200 yards and passes for another 250 while the defense forced 3 turnovers in the win. Even though it was just one game that Tugg committed to, the team would go on to win the rest of their games and make the playoffs. The high school generously offered the head coaching job to Tugg but he didn't want it while he is playing for New York and it felt disrespectful to his old coach.

High School football was where I fell in love with the game for the first time. So, naturally, when my alma matter called me up to step in for the final game of the season while they searched for a permanent coach, I jumped at the opportunity. I was worried that the kids might be intimidated if it were just me, so I had to think of someone I could bring along for the ride. Someone who wasn’t the son of a bona fide superstar and on the path to becoming one himself, someone who wasn’t wildly successful in every facet of their lives, and that’s when it hit me. I showed up to the school on Tuesday, just in time for our first practice. Everyone’s expecting me to give a speech. Nope. I’m running the option on these kids and I summons a shadowy figure from the track around the field. I decided to bring the meth addict of my graduating class to motivate these kids. They couldn’t relate to me, I’m rich and I’m a star. But, they can relate to a 24 year old who looks 50 with a serious case of meth mouth. I think it worked because only five kids threw up during the speech and the team went on to win my coaching debut by a score of 28-3.

First off, I don’t know why my high school would be contacting me, an alum who never tried out for the football team and has social anxiety for the coaching position for a game. But anyways, I would motivate the team by getting to know them more. Kind of interviewing each player to build a bigger relationship with them. Players are more likely to perform better if they trust their coach, so that’s the first point of attack. Next, when practice rolls around, kind of scout the team. See what our strengths and weaknesses are as a team, and gameplan around that. If film is available for our opponents, go ahead and watch that too to see where we should attack. Then, as the game approaches, I would only talk when needed. Once gameday finally rolled around, I would surprise everyone by giving a great pre-game speech (rehearsed beforehand of course I’m dumb and can’t think of something on the fly), leaving the locker room hyped and ready for a game. As for on field decisions, I would keep the playbook simplified to make sure the players actually know what they’re doing. Once the game actually happens, who knows after that. We could get mauled, or pull off a surprise victory, but at least I would have given it a good effort.

My high school called today. It seems the coach is retiring and they have yet to name a replacement. They asked me to come in and coach a few games. I am unsure about doing it given I am a pro football player. I agree to take the gig short-term but make it clear this can not be a long-term situation. I show up on day one and watch as the assistants run through practice.  It is just as I remember it and nothing ever changes much about this system. I offer pointers to the receiving corp and we wrap up for the day. The first game is tomorrow night. Basically, I have been told the assistant coaches can run the majority of the team and I just have to make the final call. I am starting to feel like a prop for the papers but regardless the game kicks off. The game is a tight back and forth contest throughout. The game comes down to the final seconds and the offensive coach calls a run play which would force us to take our last timeout and kick a field goal to tie it up. Chevvy Bronko plays to win not tie. I change the play and we win the game on a play-action pass. After the game, I let them know I must return to my team. I may return to coaching someday but I want to play out my career first.

Fencik had just finished a league of legends stream when he got the call, his high school's football head coach had just resigned and they needed someone to coach a game while they found a new one. While he was confused as to why they contacted him for this, Fencik accepted the job. When Fencik got there he found that the team just needed someone to call plays on offense and defense, what they really needed was a special teams coordinator as their kicker who was also doing punting duties was not doing very good. Fencik took this player aside and gave him some lessons on "how to kick the ball really far and accurately" and "how to get a punt to land inside the 5". This turned out to be a huge confidence boost for this freshman who in the game went 5/5 on field goals and even hit one from more than 50 yards out to win the game in overtime. On top of all that he managed to have more than half of his punts land within the 20, with most of them inside the 5 yard line. Fencik's special teams unit also blocked 2 punts and an extra point attempt. Maybe we will see this kicker/punter in the ISFL one day.

This prompt is particularly challenging for Anton Bruckner. You see, Anton was homeschooled in the town of Silver City, Alaska. The population of the town was exactly 6. Only his family. Over the years even his family left. That won’t stop Bruckner from returning to his hometown to coach the football team however.

Anton Bruckner had been paying keen attention to what his coaches and general managers were doing in the DSFL. After all, they specialized in developing young players. How different could it be from teaching high schoolers how to play good football? Just gotta maximise that TPE earning and pay off the refs (Anton Bruckner never had enough money).

For the next week Bruckner incessantly messaged and yelled at his high school team all hours of the day:

“Get that activity check done, I don’t see your post!”
“Pay up for your equipment. Borrow money if you have to. You’re still $13,499, 578 away!”
“The gains aren’t gains unless you tell the refs. Make that update page!!”

Remarkably, Bruckner was fired from the interim position after one whole week. What’s so remarkable you may ask? Well, much like his stats, Anton’s team was entirely imaginary. Not real in the slightest. So getting fired was quite the feat.

It felt very weird, getting the call from my old high school that my coach, their athletic director for over 30 years, decided to retire all of a sudden. It's a shame too, because he was a guiding light for me when I played for him. He was a great mentor, and I feel for those kids that don't have that mentor in their lives all of a sudden.

I didn't even hesitate on agreeing to coach a game for them since it would be my way of paying the school back for everything they did for me, even though I was a bit of a troublemaker for them. After a hard week of practice, we played the school's rival in a must win game in order to make the state playoffs. Before the game, I told them that I was proud of them no matter what the result was, and that I could see some of them going to college and maybe even turning pro.

They would eventually win on a last second field goal, 24 to 21. The crowd was amazing during the entire game; for once, there was not one helicopter parent that night.

After the game, I apologize that I can't stay and coach since I'm just starting my professional career, but I will have no problem writing letters of recommendation for each and every one of those kids, in the hopes that some of them turn their lives around and make something of themselves. Others, I hope decide to continue their path in football as they're very skilled and could be professionals some day.

This point task poses an interesting issue for Frostsuxlmap, as he is not human and therefore never attended a school in the classical understanding of a collegiate education. That stated it is impossible for him to have received a call from his old school, because he never possessed one as the question presupposes. That said, there has been one school Frostsuxlmap has attended before, and that is the school of fish he grew up as a member of. If we are to consider this a suitable replacement for the college of the question, it raises all sorts of secondary questions. How have they managed to place a call to Frostsuxlmap, despite having no opposable thumbs or other means of operating a telephone. Likewise, lacking any form of shared language, makes this so-called proposal nearly impossible to happen as even if they could operate a telephone they have no means by which to communicate over the device. Assuming that the school of fish somehow miraculously managed to get a message they cannot speak, through a device they cannot use, I doubt very much Frostsuxlmap would take them up on any offer of employment or partial employment, considering schools of fish have nothing to offer of monetary value to him.

As a whole, Tim Soulja came from a very small school that barely had a football program in the first place. In Dreamland, they focus much more of their efforts to the most popular local sport, Air Ride racing. As a result, the football funding is very limited, so the coach resigning would send a shockwave through the program.

Flying back on his own air ride machine to save the day, Soulja would immediately try to calm and prepare the team for the next game coming up. Since Dreamland is filled with all Kirby creatures that have the suck up ability, he showed his defense his special technique for how to intercept the ball. With some big inhaling practice, the entire secondary became a vacuum in just one practice!

Soulja then tried to inspire his offense, especially his new qb Prince Dedede! Taking advantage of Dedede’s specialty hammer, Soulja showed the qb how he could use the mallet to throw the ball even further, much like how his father, King Dedede, wails the Gordos!

After the week of preparation, Soulja prepared his infamous game day speech:
"Poyo, poyo poyo! Poyo! Po poyo! Poyo poyo poyo poyo poyo poyo!"

The team was inspired again and ran full force onto the field! Mouths inhaling, Gordos flying, balls soaring! After a hard-fought battle, the City Trials finished the game!

…with a 50-7 loss because Soulja forgot that Gordos and hammers were illegal on the field and they got boned by penalties. Still the student will never forget that day, and the poyos had a blast! Maybe next game Soulja will come out with some legal strats.
