I think 2021 will be a great year for the league as a whole. I’ve only been around for around 10 months and haven’t even retired my first player yet, but have come to meet so many great people around the league who I’m sure will continue to remain active on both the discord and the forums. If the league continues this pattern of growth, 2021 should be a great year for it. People are sticking around and more people are joining than ever. In terms of teams who I think will be successful in 2021, I have to say that I believe the Sailfish will be. Of course, that opinion is facilitated by a healthy dose of bias but similar to the league, the Sailfishs upward trajectory doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. Mike Boss Jr has emerged as a great QB in the league in only his first season, and the locker room is full of active members who have dedicated themselves to watching the team improve. I believe the Sailfish will only get better and will eventually bring home their first championship. I hope my player, Fawn Dillmiballs, will also continue to play well. I believe he’s done enough to earn a spot on the DToTY ballot, but I’m not sure he’s done enough to win it. I hope he can continue to improve and eventually win that award.

Oh man, I can't believe we are finally out of the trying and grueling year that is 2020. Now that 2021 has arrived, the arrival of a new sim is welcome news to me and everyone here. From what I gather from the new sim, a lot of the archetypes will stay the same but there will be additions in the form of intangibles. These intangibles from what I understand, as you level them up, will serve as passive abilities that will help further improve players play as they increase their attributes. In this current sim, I have a power rusher and have been racking up disruption after disruption. In the new version of the sim, after looking over the intangibles, I project that they will help me become 100x as disruptive and maybe into an all-time level of defensive player. However, I am only speaking for myself; I think that a lot of players will keep with their current players and test out the intangibles to see how they boost play for themselves. On the other hand, I believe that about a third of the current league will re-classify their positions in order to instantly experiment and to have fun with the new sim.
