15.

There are many things that many players can bring to a team, some are strong in specific aspects of the game and weak in others, and some could also be average at all aspects. But Ikick Ballz is truly a freak athlete on the field that all GM’s need to be weary of in this upcoming draft. Yes, I mean all of em. I am technically entering the ISFL draft, as i’ve already been drafted in the DSFL to the lovely Tijuana Luchadores, but DSFL GM’s need to make sure they have as much intel on me as possible so they aren’t absolutely scorched by my ability to play the game of american football. Another reason I believe ISFL teams should select me in this upcoming draft is because i’m a good kicker. I come from a football family. my father, Ithrow Ballz, was an amazing quarterback for some league that specializes in playing american football. So, with that said, I have experience with all eyes being on me in key situations, and as a kicker i believe thats a pretty darn fabulous trait to have. Lastly, I bring many cool aspects to a team. I kick balls which is one of the main things, but I also am an active locker room guy and enjoy pumping up teammates.

18. Written option - which teammate of yours is the ultimate team player and why? How does this person exhibit selflessness and put the team first? Are they a great locker room presence who encourages others? Do they play an important but unappreciated role on the team which doesn't receive much recognition for awards? Graphic Option: Create a graphic of your player with your teammate who exhibits a team-friendly attitude.

For my Ultimus Week task i wanted to take a moment to recognize my new Co-GM @Sebster. Seb is the perfect example of a Teammate and great Locker Room presence. Ok well maybe not perfect as he will definitely hit you with a terribly timed cringe worthy joke that most of the time is so bad you cant help but laugh. That is one of the things that Seb brings to the locker room. Aside from locker room activity Seb provides entertainment, Engaging with anyone in the either the closed or public chat I think most people who have spent any time near our discord channel know who Seb is and have had multiple conversations with him. Aside from being a genuinely Likeable guy and friendly in the locker room Seb is a natural leader helping remind the team about new activities and playing a crucial role in helping develop the young talent in London. With everything Seb has shown to the team and brought to the table since my arrival in the league its easy to see why he's been chosen to step in and help lead the Royals into the future. All of this before becoming GM I can only imagine that the urge to help the team grow will be stronger now that he is a GM and believe that we will get the experience of watching Seb evolve into an even better leader and teammate as he becomes comfortable in his new position. Thank you for all that you do to help the team, I couldn't be happier to work with you and am looking forward to really getting started.

30. The ISFL Players Association was established a few seasons back, and while it is not as prominent now, it was a very interesting idea. What are your thoughts on a player union to help vote on rule proposals?

I think bringing the Players union back would be fantastic the players union was a great idea but from what I've heard it may have been a bit ahead of its time. It sounded like the league may not have been ready for that kind of outside representation that's not to say that it is now but it feels like something that the league would be more receptive towards now. The Players in the league should have a voice and a representation, somewhere they feel comfortable going with an issue that is not being resolved in a way that it should be. A players union is a great way to establish a consensus of how the members of the league truly feel. Something  that should not be forgotten it is the users who fuel this league and keep it running. Allowing them a place to be heard should be top priority. I'm aware that I am not one of the players that was around the last time and I'm sure there were a bunch of obstacles that I'm not aware of but this is something that I would love to see make a comeback. I think it is important for the players and should be not only promoted by the league to all new members but the league should actively be doing what it can to assist the union heads in the reestablishing a functional Players Union. Helping promote a strong union could be key in determining ways to increase membership and help decrease inactivity across the league. I really hope that this is something that is being strongly considered to be restarted.

31. The World Football Association was established last season and is currently playing out for the first time. What do you think about the WFC as a whole and how it has been shaping out. Do you think it will end up a success?

The World Football Association was a great idea and i for one have truly enjoyed the games. Its added something fun and entertaining to help fill the void that is usually left by the offseason. the contests for the graphics and allowing users to submit artwork to be judged gave it more of a league wide feel right from the start. The teams that were created and the Combinations that have developed over the course of these games has been awesome to see. I was wondering to myself while watching if these games may create a chemistry that leads to a future free agent signing. What's been created here has the potential to be  very successful but it will require more promotion from the league and consistency. The only thing that will continue to make the WFA successful is user participation and excitement. the second that the Hype dies down so will the popularity of the games. In my opinion it will be critical to figure out a way to get more users interested in what their player is doing during the offseason and finding new and exciting ways to keep existing players wanting to invest their time around what is essentially a mini league. If we are lucky enough to add more overall user involvement I think these World Football Championship Games will develop into the premier offseason activity. Thank you to the heads and every user and player involved in making this first Championship happen. This helped fix what I considered to be one of the worst parts of every season and cant wait to see what happens next.

RE: (S30) Ultimus Week - moonlight - 09-01-2021

1. This season marked the 30th season of the Ultimus and Ultimini. This was a great playoff run as there were multiple great games and the Ultimus in particular ended in a very surprising fashion. The ASFC was headlined by a dominant 14-2 team the Arizona Outlaws who dominated the league for the entire season. They were headlined by the presumptive MVP, Charlemagne Cortez, who put up one of the best seasons in ISFL history. Other teams of note were the defending champions the New York Silverbacks who were trying to defend their first ever Ultimus Trophy. They were tied in record with the great Austin Copperheads team who's rebuild had seemingly finally come to fruition. The Copperheads traveled to the Silverbacks in the ASFC Wildcard game. The Copperheads didn't put up much of a fight as they lost 47-24. Notable performances by Sam Howitizer who threw 4TDs put the Silverbacks over the top. We were then given a treat as ISFL spectators, a matchup of the defending champs and the most dominant team in the league. The Silverbacks were looking to get to their second straight Ultimus game and the Outlaws were trying to right past wrongs. Sadly, this game ended up being a snoozer as the Outlaws dominated like they have all season on both sides of the football, with a big 33-0 win in front of their adoring fans in Arizona. Tatsu Nakamura, the future Hall of Famer had a typical performance by his standards, gaining over 180 yards and 2 TDs on the day to put the Outlaws on the top. Glen Smart also had a 2 sack day at the LB position to represent the defence. And now we turn our look on the NSFC playoffs which were slightly more interesting.

The Sarasota Sailfish were on top of their conference with a respectable 11-5 record on the year. The Yellowknife Wraiths were right on their heels all season as they rattled off a bunch of victories in a row, they were given a playoff spot in the NSFC playoffs. This was a surprising achievement as they did not expect to get to this point as they were reportedly looking to trade away many players to set up an early rebuild. Right after them at 9-7 were the Berlin Firesalamanders who are seemingly on the downturn. Their players are simply not as dominant as they were a few seasons ago but regardless they found themselves in a position to make the playoffs yet again.

The Wildcard game featured the Firesalamanders at the Wraiths and it was a pretty close game as the Wraiths lost a grip on the game and ended up losing to the Berlin team at home. An unfortunate end to a long series of playoff runs as the
Wraiths are now in the rebuild process. Danny King Jr. was the lead back that day with over 120 yards and 2 TDs on the day. In the conference championship we found the Sailfish and the Berlin team going at it yet again. This was a close and back and forth affiar that left fans breathless. The Sailfish managed to find a way to the top as they won the game 30-24 to secure another Ultimus berth. Ichinose was the hero on the day as he had over 100 yards and a touchdown on the day to get his team the victory.

Now we are at the Ultimus, the biggest game of the season was finally at hand and the Ultimus trophy was at hand. Many pundits expected this to be a close game but the results were very surprising. The Sailfish dominated the entire game and it left many fans, especially Outlaws fans scratching their heads. What on Earth happened? The Sailfish quickly jumped to a 14-0 leads as the soon to be named MVP cortez couldn't string anything together. It was a very disappointing performance. The Sailfish held on for the 27-10 victory as the Outlaws went home empty handed.

The Sailfish were officially crowned Ultimus champions.
