Kyle: Hi Folks, I'm Kyle "Cornchips" Campbell, and you're watching FOOTBALL OBSESSED, brought to you by Zoloft ™. I'm here today with New Orleans Second Line strong safety Will H Harrison. Will, welcome to the show.

Will: Thanks Kyle.

K: Will, it's late in the season, and you've still got one of the top sack counts in the league, a rare feat for a defensive back. How did oyu make that happen?

W: Well, you know, we lost some great players to retirement, specifically on defense, so coach is coming up with creative ways to make up for that. I just go out there, and I'm determined to punish the quarterback.

K: Not worried about any flags?

W: I think the intimidation factor makes up for that.

K: Did you expect NOLA to be in the drivers seat, this time of year?

W: Yeah, no surprise there. Borkus can throw on anyone, and we make a lot of splash plays on D.

K: Any outcomes surprise you this season?

W: [obvious discomfort] Well, you know, teammates are teammates, regardless of who they love, and we support them fully, in being who there are. We're a big family in NOLA -

K: -Will, I meant-

W: and family means accepting family. Those guys are my brothers, you know, we gotta love our brothers, and that means -

K: -sorry, Will?

W: - supporting our brothers. We're all in this together. We got to be -

K: WILL.

W: - What?

K: Out-comes. On the football field.

W: Oh. Uh. No.

One of the biggest changes the NSFL has gone through in a long happened only a few short days ago after long time infamous con Logan Noble was welcomed back into the league as the player agent for the Lucius Kaine, a new upstart wide receiver threat who hails from the same college program as the now retired quarterback. With this new development, there are mixed opinions around the league as to if the right decision has been made, but really only time can tell. One thing is for certain though, and that is that Logan Noble knows who to select to build, and Lucius Kaine is already looking like one of the most promising young talents to ever grace the halls of the NSFL. In an age where wide receivers come and go and are rampant in all amounts of stardom around the league, it is time for one player to come above the rest and set himself apart as one of the true greatest players to ever play the game. With careful practice and elite levels of determination from his management staff, it can be said that without a doubt, Lucius Kaine will be the best wide receiver to ever play the game.

The most surprising out-come of a game had to be week 13 when the Otters took a heart breaking lose that knocked them out of contention for Home Field Advantage. And it wasn't against one of the top tier teams like the Hawks, Secondline or even the Yeti. It was the 4-8 Outlaws. Granted it was still at the Outlaws crib I was still surprised by this lose. I thought I had made Gus T.T. Showbiz a very good QB by figuring out what was wrong with him. But no where the Otter's defense decides to suck ass and shit the bed in what should have been a simple and easy win against the frigging Arizona Outlaws. They did go out throwing fists with a late 4th quarter 31 yard touchdown pass from Showbiz to Atwell leaving them only 4 seconds to try to get the ball back and at least hit a field goal. Mason Brown did recover the onsides kick, but not before time ran out. The final score to this very upsetting game was 41 to 44. A heart breaker for the Otters. This could be the game that stops them from showing up in this years Ultimus Bowl.

For me, the most surprising outcome for the Arizona Outlaws was actually last night’s game against the Orange County Otters. The Otters have long been a dominant team in the ASFC and were a team that I knew would be a difficult rival for years to come when I was drafted to Arizona. This was our chance to get revenge on our turf after losing to them during week 6 by 28-20.

The Otters are a great team and could shock a lot of people by upsetting the New Orleans Second Line in the play-offs, but before that can happen, they had to go through us and we weren’t going to make it easy on them. The game was lights out offense with both team scoring 5+ TDs apiece. Fitzpatrick was sling the ball like a madman with over 300 yards and a QB Rating of 131.1. Both Browning and Squanch fired off with over 100 yards in the air and Mackworthy was effective on the ground. Of course, shout-out to my boys on the defense as we compiled 3 sacks, including 1 from yours truly. Plus 5 deflections and an interception from the secondary. The effort netted us a hard-fought 44-41 win and, while we are out of contention this year, it felt good to defeat a major rival and successfully defend our homefield.
