You must be confusing us with the Browns...

Hated the pick. We have needs on o-line and LB's and D-Line and ignored them all for a man who may never get the ball in his hands.

Not a bad pick IMO, I mean, I loved the kid in college.

Better than my Jets taking TWO safeties in a row, even though the first one is supposed to be amazing

I dont care, in the first round, they're all great in college. We have Tyler Boyd and Brandon LaFell who both played well last year. I think Corey Davis was better then John Ross.

Maybe he wasn't the pick to make, but that doesn't mean he isn't STUDLY. Because he is.
I didn't like the pick at first either but I've become more and more excited about it.

So do I, but he was also taken before Ross.

I just meant I was partial to him because I liked his college game, not that it was an amazing pick. My boy AJ still killin it ofc too and yall could've addressed some other needs like you said.

And holy hot hell do I not trust Boyd and Lafell as our 2/3 WRs. That shit weak.

It was the best pick, The best O-Line dude was Cam Robinson and he isn't day 1. Ogbuehi is going to be better than him this season, 100% guaranteed. Our LB are full dude, check out the roster plus there was a lot of talent in later rounds. We also addressed DE with 2 First-Round level picks. John Ross gives us something we don't have at our WR position; Speed. We can now finally get more 1 on 1s for AJ as Ross just CAN'T be ignored deep. It was legit the best pick they could make at the time. All Ross has to do is run, he doesn't even need to catch; he could be a first round decoy for all I care. Just as long as AJ gets more 1 on 1s.

Agreed. I like our LB corps after the acquisition of Minter. I'm excited to see how Vigil does too.
And apparently Carl Lawson has been an absolute beast so far so I'm good with our linemen if they play him as a DE.
And yeah, Ced and Fisher make me comfortable enough with our OLine. They're young and talented.

I simply love Vigil and can't wait to see how our LBs pan out. Burfict is going to be a beast this season. Vigil will have gotten stronger and even SMART (if that is possible). Minter is going to kill it as a Run-Stuffer. Vinny Rey is an elite back-up LB. Carl Lawson may actually make our blitzes look justified. I am excited.
