Okay, but would you protest the result if you'd won? It's still very much case of a free do-over in case you lose. And being on short end of stick yet again with the resims stuff I won't hold back, especially at the end of my career, now even more likely of my last player here, so pardon me being direct and jumping to conclusions.
The second paragraph was hypothetical and suggestion how it should have been handled or should be from now on.

Again..none of the gms had any access to the information in question ahead of time. It factually cannot be a "free do-over" because no one knew that there was an error until after the sim. You. Are. Wrong.
As for your question....of course I'd say something. The fact that you accuse first and ask second though says what you think the answer is. Really sucks to have this kind of insulting lashing out coming from you of all people.

Resimming should not even be an option, except for extreme cases that would actually require the entire file to be resimmed for the week. If one game is resimmed, the entire week itself should be resimmed, if you have to have resims.
Awarding resims promotes not being proactive, just share a file prior to the sim and have GMS check for mistakes forfeiting resim altogether in favor of finding errors prior.

Of course I'm coming here guns blazing, I hate the resims with all my heart, which is especially ignited by being hurt by them yet again, no matter who was on opposing side I wouldn't hold back, shame you are taking these attacks so personally, though I'd lied if I didn't act the same if roles were switched (though I doubt you'd be as triggered as am I right now).
I probably should have waited for full explanation of what really happened, but as it stands now we just know there was resim on god forsaken hour, that wasn't even streamed, some GMs are just realizing it now too, apparently there were more TPE mishaps and it's still being investigated by HO, and it all happened because of "updating process, Austin was left with 3 key players missing roughly 226 TPE", which is a bit enigmatic to really justify a resim. Damn me, for jumping to conclusion and thinking someone might have used this thing to force a re-sim instead of going through with that and just having players fixed onward.

I was the one who initially found the issue within the index. Tuesday morning (after the first sim already took place) I was randomly looking at our roster page because I wanted to see what my players overall rating I was. That is when some specific stats on my player caught my eye because they looked wrong so I went back and checked my update page to confirm. I brought it to the attention of the Austin LR so people could check their own player as well as the GMs so it could be fixed for the rest of the games this week. We legitimately talked in the LR about how a resim would just cause problems and that what we really wanted was for the issue to be fixed and some sort of acknowledgment of "yeah that got messed up"... That's it. Even as one of the players directly effected all I really wanted was for it to be fixed. There was nothing nefarious done by Austin in this process to try to force a resim of week 1. We legitimately just noticed an error and brought attention to it.

I think most (some of at least) Austin players just wanted a public apology. Re-sims are literally the worst. Obviously I’m very happy for the win except like... not really cause resim wins take all the fun out of it tbh. I’m glad, but not happy ? Either ways
1) glad HO acknowledged it
2) with 14 seasons of experience, I can confidently say resims are the worst

Apparently HO can do no right. 226 TPE is pretty significant so re-simming the result makes sense. Austin players commenting in this thread saying they never asked for a re-sim are duplicitous and kinda embarrassing for blaming HO.

This is completely untrue. Your GM demanded a re-sim in GM chat in a long winded rant.
