Is it fair to the LBs to give LBotY to a someone who isn't actually a LB? Or is it fair to the DBs to give the DBotY to someone who didn't play DB? The same thing happened to me in S5 when my RB playing most of his snaps at WR didn't win RBotY or WRotY.

These type of situations are why OPotY/DPotY awards are great. You were the best overall defensive player despite not fitting the criteria of any traditional position award.

we've done that in the past but i didn't get around to making a form for this past offseason... so yeah my fault there
but as Dwyer said, not sure if the benefits are really there
