Let’s start off with my quarterback, Franklin Armstrong, statistically QB number 2 with 82.94 points, with the otters in a tie with 4 other teams for the league’s best record at 3 and 1, this season is truly the definition of unpredictable. My running back is Morgan Marshall statistically RB number 2, his biggest feat is setting a brand new single game record, with 5 rushing touchdowns, against the Chicago Butchers, a conference rival none the less, but still, it’s a run for the records, get it? My three receivers are very elite, Kazimir Oles, whom was just traded to the Arizona Outlaws, Sunnycursed also know as mr “your secondary does not exist”, and James Bishop, WR number 4 statistically, all three are probably some of the leagues finest players, being able to continue a long drive. My tight end is an old man who still tries to keep himself relevant, (I see you Flash), Verso L’Alto, who can be a surprise that causes everyone to dump their waiver picks for this man. My defense is the otters, what did you expect? Drafting myself? It doesn’t work like that kiddo, and finally my kicker, Neo Donaldson, Elite at San Jose but now he’s a wraith.

Well, if the Developmental Simulation Football League had a fantasy football league, it would be great. First because so many players are predicted to be studs because of their activity and then pretty much vanish from the game, so no more updates for them and you would have a team of 50 TPE players if you were not paying attention. Second because if you got a couple of players right on your draft, you would pretty much sweep the league in style. And if you want to do that, your only choice as first pick would be the Season 17 Most Valuable Player, the Portland Pythons own Jay "The Portuguese Phenom" Cue. He led the league in touchdown passes, in passing yards, in QB Rating, in girls seduced and money spent in strip bars. Can you imagine how many points he would give your team? And the havoc it would be if you selected the defense of the team he was going to face? So many waivers spent on each gameday in the DSFL to avoid the negative points. The only downside I see to this is the demoralization of every single fantasy football participant when the draft order was decided... You know if you are not the first to pick, you are already fighting for second place tops.

So far in this fantasy season, things are not going well for my team. I am currently in second last in my group and a staggering 131 points out of first place. I'm going to need a miracle to get that top spot.

If you look at my players, they are all under performing. Bigsby killed it last season, but is just ok right now. I took Torensen and Taffy early on expecting them to be the bell cows for their teams, but they aren't piling up the stats like I thought they would. Oles has been pretty good at wide receiver, but Flash has been awful. In his final season, I thought he would have a good swan song, but he struggling. I took a chance on Peter Larson late, but he hasn't shown much either. Fulture has been good at kicker, but the SaberCats defense has been bad. Right now, Oles and Fulture are my best players and that won't cut it. I'm going to need a huge rebound from Bigsby and the two running backs or this season will be dead in the water.

Lucky for me, there's still tons of games left to play. If my players can play up to their potential, hopefully I can sneak into the top 4 and get some of that sweet TPE.

I picked Bigsby as my QB and he has been pretty good so far. Obviously he isn't as good as Havran but I was sniped real hard so I am content with my pick. At RB1 I picked Sam Torenson, who hasn't put up big numbers yet but I still believe he will finish the season strong. At WR1 I have Sunnycursed who is one of the top WR's and at WR2 I have Varga who is 10 points behind the top WR's 4 weeks in. I have Olsen at the TE position, who has been a disappointment so far to say the least. I was really hoping for him to put up big numbers especially since he is the primary receiver of his team. However SJS had a tough schedule so far, so time will tell on this one. At FLEX I had Bigby and waived him after the first week as soon as I realized how good Brown was doing. At K I have picked Brand who is the kicker for the best offense in the league. Last but not least, I picked YKW at D and they are turning out the be the best defense in the league. Overall I think I had a decent draft and expect to earn at least 3 TPE from Fantasy this year.

I'm a huge fan of fantasy wether is the NSFL or NFL I like watching my players and see how much point they get. I am sti new to this fantasy scene and last season I had a horrible fantasy team because i was still new but this season I think i stepped up my fantasy game huge time and i think I will get on the top 3 in fantasy points this season.

My biggest raft pick this season is vinny valentine. Vinny the star receiver for the knives, is currently 3rd in receiving yards and drafting him with my second pick was very smart of me. After that I doubled down on a reciever and picked nacho vagra who is 8th in recieving yards but he is leading with 6 TDs which is nice for my points.

For RBs I picked up familiar names the austin copperheads very own Ashley Owen's and Mendonca. Ashley Owen's is currently 4th in rushing yards and I picked him up late making him the biggest steal of my fantasy draft. Mendonca is right behind him putting him 5th in rushing yards and both of them is combined with 2 TDs. Not that good but I'm confident they will step up there game.

Wow, where do I start lol? I feel like my entire fantasy team has kind of been a bust this season. I drafted a team that, on paper, should be doing fantastic, but it just isn't. My first pick was Apollo Reed. He's my teammate, and we had big plans for him this season, but it seems like those plans aren't going very well. He was probably the biggest bust in my team, when you consider the value of the pick I used on him. I also took Cameron Olsen. I guess it's not really fair to call him a "bust". He's just not on a very good offense, and it's hard for TE's to really be elite in this league anyway, but he definitely is a let down compared to last season, even with a new QB. Another bust would be Wolfie McDummy. I made the mistake of waiting way too long to draft a QB, going for RB's and WR's first. I had to choose from what would be considered the bottom tier of QB's, and I someone told me that McDummy would be a sneaky good pick this season. I believed them, and I regret it. McDummy has been beyond terrible. I had low expectations, and he still managed to be a bust. The standouts on my team are definitely the WR's: Nacho Varga and Nate Swift. Two standout WR's on their team, and they have yet to let me down this season. I'm hoping they can carry me to a top three finish once I fix my QB situation through the waivers.

I used to do many fantasy leagues a year before giving it up entirely a couple years ago due to frustrations with injuries and just feeling burnt out. NSFL is so much more appealing due to everyone always being healthy and me not needing to change up my roster every week.

That being said, my first NSFL fantasy season has been pretty rough so far. The the first overall pick I took Sam Torenson and he has preformed under expectations although I expect him to bounce back. My other running back is Marcella Toriki, who hasn’t played great but my S18 and Norfolk pride will keep me believing in her all season. My wide receivers are actually fantastic, I was able to pick up Nate Swift and Vinny Valentine with consecutive picks. I’m also very proud of my quarterback Franklin Armstrong as he has preformed extremely well. I had really only picked him because I am moving up to the Otters next season and wanted a strong connection to my new team. That has paid off in a big way.

I have no regrets taking fellow S18er and fellow DSFL GM Baxter Frost as my locker and expect him to be productive. I’m still hopeful about my defense as well, because New Orleans should only improve as all their young defensive studs develop more and more.
