First, real life comes before this league, so don't worry about this league and what happens to it. It should be a community effort and not all on your shoulders, but at times the community, not you, has failed and it has rested on your shoulders, the simmers shoulders, etc.
Second, I have always been pro ADwyer as Commish, and I have been here for a while, and pro Sunnycurse/King Bronko as players. There is a reason nunc and I traded the farm mid-season to get you from the Otters. You have brought a ton of value to this league as a commissioner, player, and community member.
So, stay positive and focus on real life, but know you have brought significant value to this league, which in turn has brought fun to many, including myself.

Dwyer, I know it's been tough and I know you've wanted out of this league for a while. I'm sorry it had to come to this.
You've been a wonderful commissioner and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. It's a job that very few people want to do (and I'm sorry for stealing one of those people from you), and you stuck through it.
In my opinion, you've played a part in making this league a better place, and I hope others share that opinion with me. You've also been a great friend.

I like you Dwyer. Thanks for everything you've done for this league. Even if you think you've ruined it, most of us really enjoy it and we are all happy someone kept it running smoothly.

@ADwyer87 man you take it all too personally. We're all here to have fun but with competitiveness it definitely has its birthing ground of toxic behavior. I'm sorry it's come to this and that you feel the way you feel especially because during my time as GM you were one of the best people around for me to talk to especially when I have to deal with some of the personalities that are about in here. And I also know how you're feeling because a lot of that is how I felt during the end of my GM tenure, like hating myself for making bad draft picks, trades, FA or lack there of transactions etc, because I was pouring in countless hours behind the scenes and not having the best results and constantly telling myself that I was shit and I was ruining the time and experience of the people on my team and it was definitely getting to me to the point I just had to get away. Hopefully this break or step down or whatever does you good, I know since I've stepped away from GMing I've had a lot better time mentally with this league not really worry about much. Anyways man even if you're done for good, it was great having you around, you were one of the real ones.

Take care of yourself first and foremost. I strongly disagree about the sentiment that you were bad for the league, people mentality is that they are so much more likely to be vocal when things don't go their way instead of being even slightly grateful for all the hard work you've done, those won't be easy shoes to fill, but I'd argue NSFL is in as good form as ever in large part thanks to you. All the best in the sim-league free world, that's quite liberating feeling even if you just cut down some time spend in here.

Sorry to see you go. I just wanted to say thank you for all the work you've put in here over the last couple years. I've really enjoyed being a part of the league and that's been possible because of the hard work you've put into keeping it running and making it a fun place to be. Personally, I think you've done a great job as commissioner and I will be sad to see you go. Good luck in your future endeavors!
