tim pest has a point to make for teammates on the outlaws/fairness of the league
tim pest is holding out of the draft for the outlaws until the second round
If drafted by another team, tim pest would refuse to sign the offer sheet, and would be forced to sit the season
If the tim pest is available in the second round, he will happily sign with another team.

Present NSFL Rules:
- Once a player is drafted to a team they must be signed to a contract. If they refuse to sign a contract they will not be able to play in the NSFL. Their only option is to sit out until they have a contract signed.

- If a player sits out an entire season and does not sign with the team that drafted them they may re-enter the following draft. These players may ONLY do activity checks and weekly training until they are under contract

Listen you amateur, you are supposted to spit GoT metaphors until it beomes a thousand word article. Then it becomes a media circus.

What would you say? An auto signed contract for a player who doesn't want to be there? He'd just leave as soon as he could then anyway and the team would get nothing for him.

Maybe some sort of franchise tag?

Please. Show the players they don't have control over most things in a football team. I'd love it if this happened.

Even better is this. They each go to the teams they want, and the GMs of said teams trade away their friends to the expansion teams that would have taken them.

One benefit could be some incentive to get drafted sooner? I mean, in the NFL if you get drafted to a shit team at least you're usually getting paid. There's s a heavy incentive to go to a contender here, because you don't lose out on anything for getting drafted later.

The OLine franchise tag would be actually criminal. I'm making $7m this year
