if he didn't have that one paragraph in the original post (the 3rd to last paragraph) i dont think there'd be an issue right now. I know this is a character he plays but limits and knowing your audience play a big part in that sort of character. something that is fine in SHL may not be fine in NSFL and so on, and I think that's something that has to be realized.

When the post 1st went up, did anyone actually contact him directly and have a one to one discussion about the hurt he was causing, which may have allowed him to change or temper it quickly or did everyone just scream at him on the forum?

Two big ol' issues with this one.
1. At no point has Boom ever contacted anyone he was attaking in advance of publishing anything, even if said article can only be described as a hit piece on a user.
2. Boom clearly had 0 issues with what was posted on the forum. If you look in general chat his only concern at that point was that his, and I quote, "beautiful thread" was locked and he wanted it unlocked. He was so ok with the responses that he proceeded to publish a follow up report solely to further the drama.
