I actually agree with this statement. Should of only been able to trade after expansion was completed, unless swapping rookie draft picks.

I mean we're making a strategic choice to give up our S2 draft and be competitive now...It's not like we didn't lose anything. We have very little options in the S2 draft and you've got all your picks. It evens out in my opinion. But I am sorry you feel that way.

Are you saying the Vegas hockey team made trades before the expansion draft? I don't really follow hockey, but I couldn't find any made before the draft...

You guys are free to make whatever moves you want. But, you have to see that by doing this before the expansion draft, you are just diluting the unprotected player pool. Thus hurting Philly and Las Vegas in the process, you could have made all of these deals after the expansion draft and lost nothing. You've just cost me and yourselves a shot at free active players.

They were allowed to make trades from the moment the trade deadline passed. The reason teams didn't go with it is that if they acquired a player from Vegas after the deadline he wouldn't have been eligible to play in the playoffs.
