There's no other way to look at it, whether it was intentional or not, you set up the entire punishment vote for failure from the very start. Literally the only reason I have been given for people voting not to remove Bex from the Commissioner position is that they don't know who would replace her and that they didn't want to give the new rookies a bad impression of the league and the users that run it. What kind of reasoning is that to not remove someone from the highest ranking position in the league, considered the face of the league? : As the person who organized the date for r/NFL there was no intention behind it other than recruitment. The day was picked for the best intetion of making the Rookie Mentors, Updaters & DSFl simmers lives as easy as possible (250+ new rookies is not easy to deal with). It was not done to alter votes. This has always been our schedule for r/NFL, a Recruitment post every six months as is our agreement with mods there. Right now is that six month point. If this influx of rookies altered any vote, I as one of those voters & Recruitment head would like to hear from those people, because as AdamS and other have said we had qualified people who could be commish instead and honestly besides hiring a few additional people in certain job groups & expansion, the league structure & logistics have always been in place to handle a large influx of people. So the cop out that she's only retained because r/NFL occured is terrible, and the worst reasoning to change or base a vote on. A Good Day - ValorX77 - 02-21-2020 That’s a weird way to announce that. A Good Day - Opera_Phantom - 02-21-2020 I was probably one of the most vocal users during that time and my opinion is well known for those who read threads about the subject. Some things might have been dealt with differently for sure. Bex knows what she did and said and if she really is sorry about it, good. Not that it solves anything, but at least she saw what she did was wrong and should not have happened. My problem with her staying as Commish is the lack of trust i feel after knowing what she did. And i honestly don't like that, as of now, i get the impression that everyone that disagrees with the decision to keep her is seen as the "bad guy". This might be a mistake i'm making analyzing all this, and i hope it is, but everyone who wanted her to continue tries to downplay what she said as "venting" or "just some private talks with friends". I have "private talks" with users of this game and never once said a single thing as bad as what she said. She definitely "vents" in a strange aggressive way to say the least. I obviously can't go into what was discussed between HO and why the decisions were made on punishments. Adam for example said that they felt it was a fair punishment. Well, i don't agree, and while my opinion does not count as others, i still have that choice. But, credit where it's due. I would like to thank HO publicly for at least putting it to a vote. My team voted to remove her, but if the majority felt otherwise, we just have to accept that and move on, even if in disagreement. i have no problem criticizing stuff, but i can also praise when i feel the right decision was made. I hope Bex is working on regaining the trust of those who lost it because of all this. And if the choice was made that she should continue, i am all aboard with that, hoping she changed her ways on stuff like this. Well, I've only been in HO for a season now, so I'm a fairly new face, BR is a new face, and manic is stepping down soon, so HO will be a completely different set of people than who made all these decisions that make you so angry. You do realize that we truly want to help the league right? Thats why we took this position. And no decision we ever make will make everyone happy. Any decisions we made have been toiled over in HO chat and discussed thoroughly so that we make what we feel is the right call. Not all of us even agree with each other all the time. It is not an easy gig. Quote:Literally the only reason I have been given for people voting not to remove Bex from the Commissioner position is that they don't know who would replace her and that they didn't want to give the new rookies a bad impression of the league and the users that run it. In the otters locker room (which you are definitely a part of) I put my full reasoning into why I voted for reinstatement. And if you didn't see that, its funny that you wouldn't ask the one teammate in HO you had for his opinion - my PMs are always open. I said that I felt she would be nearly impossible to replace, not because I didn't know who we'd replace her with but because I felt that she is the best person for the job. It was meant a testament to her work ethic, but if it wasn't taken that way I understand and I'm sorry. Not wanting to give rookies a bad impression wasn't even a thought and something I haven't heard anyone else say until now. Also, slm didn't give us the full rundown of the votes, but apparently it was fairly split and a very close vote. That means there were others that also agreed with you, it just didn't go your way. For full transparency sake, here is what I posted in the otters LR on why I voted the way I did: ![]() A Good Day - flyeaglesfly29 - 02-21-2020 (02-21-2020, 04:09 AM)shadyshoelace Wrote:wtf i love adams now Right?
