I never had the opportunity to interact with Spector personally but ai see his positive influence on the league every day. I hear about him and his stories in the locker room and his forum posts. I mourn this loss not simply as a loss to the league but the loss of a friend and mentor to many. I feel deeply for all that are directly affected by this and particularly to Westfield.

This really is heartbreaking. My girlfriend also suffers from CF so I know exactly how rough it can be, and it’s truly awful. I never got the pleasure of meeting this man but I’m sure he was one of the great ones.

This news hit me hard. Marc and I never were really close friends but I did know of his condition from my time as Co GM of OCO. I had mad respect for the guy. Sad to see him pass.
