And at the low end their only disadvantage is in endurance (which given that corners are doing fine with 40 endurance, I don't think safeties will be much difference)I don't anticipate getting 1500 TPE, but I feel like a 65 TPE head start would be helpful. According to my Calculations - Jogn - 07-11-2017 Knowing that Strength and Speed appear to be by far the most valuable stats I wonder if Athlete OLinemen are still worth being. On the other hand Run Blockers seem like they're good enough with max 95 Strength and I'm pretty sure OK speed (I'm on mobile otherwise I'd check). They can hit two of the 3 main stats to 100 while no other archetype can. Speed is not a big deal for linemen in this sim and even then run blocker maxes at 70 while athletic maxes at 75. Are the two blocking stats more important than Speed? I know we did some testing that determined 35->50 speed was more valuable than 70->77 1/2 blocking but that might just be a scale thing According to my Calculations - kckolbe - 07-11-2017 Holy crap, I was JUST talking to Ballerstorm about this! Speed is important, as are plenty of other stats. But blocking and strength are our primary stats. You also have to remember that a lot of the effect of an attribute is directly tied to another attribute on your opponent, so you need to have tests that isolate those variables. According to my Calculations - Player1 - 07-12-2017 I have been thinking about this a lot, it seems like Blocking TE is very marginally better at blocking than Balanced TE but not nearly as good at receiving. Some of the archetypes need some tweaking. According to my Calculations - Kristy95 - 07-12-2017 This makes me happy about my man-to-man choice! According to my Calculations - timeconsumer - 07-12-2017 Edited main post to account for S2 changes in max speed for DTs. |
