It is trash ecchi. I have read the manga. There is no deeper meaning to it. It's just "look at these boobs". But dammit, the crazy characters that come along with those boobs are fantastic and I love them Ranko Honjou is legitimately the best. I would want her as my bodyguard.

Also trash ecchi, but this time it's isekai and involves a mom who really seems like she wants to fuck her son for some reason.
Look, I love nothing more than a compelling plot that makes me think and gives me a legitimate rush as a writer. Being able to craft beautiful dialogue, pulling together a massive overarching story through smaller vignettes, and characters that are fully fleshed out to the point that they feel like real, flawed, human beings. Those are things that I want to do myself and seeing it realized on-screen is amazing.
But most days I'm very tired and I just want to either see big anime tiddies or cute girls doing cute things. Slice of Life and Ecchi are candy and soda. I will never turn it down. It can't replace a full meal like a true romance story or a well-rounded hero's journey, but it makes me happy.

Although, I guess you guys already knew that. My actual "guilty pleasure" is gender bender ecchi manga. I don't know how I got into that genre, but it amuses me every time. Waiting for an anime adaptation of Tensei Pandemic.
