Who is one player in the league you look up to and want to model your game after?
I'll go with Calvin Johnson again honestly, he's a big target and made some insane catches and I want to model my game after that. He also had a lot of speed which people tend to forget. He's been shit talking my Lions after retirement though which makes me upset, but I get it.

Are you a Nixon fan?
Damn that's actually a really complex question. Obviously, I don't agree with a LOT of what he did while President up to and including Watergate (but things like Vietnam, Cambodia, his drug policies were waaaaay more harmful and shady) and I think the fact that he got pardoned kind of ushered in an era where politicians believe they are above the law. That being said, he's one of my favorite people to learn and read about, a lot of people don't realize he was born into sheer poverty on a lemon farm in California. He essentially slugged his way to becoming the most powerful man in the world, which is impressive even if he did a lot of shitty stuff to get there.

And I like collecting Nixon stuff, I have a bumper sticker hanging in my office of his. But a fan? No, I'd say I'm more of a fan of RFK. But people aren't black and white and I think when people just unilaterally consider Nixon "bad" it downplays a lot of what he went through.

What's your favorite down and distance?
3rd and goal from about the 8 yard line. Run me on a slant across the middle and get the kick team ready for the extra point attempt.

Will the new Mossing be called Chessing after you're done with this league?
Yeah, because saying "Check mate" after every TD will get too old.

Is football more like chess or poker?
Probably more like chess. I have no idea.

Wow, great answer. I feel similarly about Andrew Jackson, who was undeniably a bastard, but also had some admirable qualities and gets far more hate than appreciation.

Here's some post-draft follow-up questions:

How excited are you to be a member of the Outlaws? What are your thoughts?

How did you feel about where you were drafted?

Are you excited to get going with King Bronko at the helm in Arizona?

What other play makers do you see making an impact with you on the offense in Arizona?

Did you have an idea of where you were going to end up going into the draft?

Who do you think was the best pick in the S2 draft?

What's the most exciting part of the NSFL year to you?

What's the most helpful advice you've received during preparation for the college to NSFL transition?

What sets the Outlaws apart from other teams in the league?

How excited are you to be a member of the Outlaws? What are your thoughts?

Oh man just so excited, joining the world champs and being able to (hopefully) walk directly into a starting job almost sounds too good to be true but it's really happening. I love this team already, and everything that's happened since the draft has confirmed I'm in the right place.

How did you feel about where you were drafted?

I mean it's no big secret that I dropped way farther than I, or anyone else, expected. I'm not gonna lie there were some tense moments on draft night but it all ended up perfect.

Are you excited to get going with King Bronko at the helm in Arizona?

I really am. He's a great quarterback and he's got a ring -- and better than that he's still growing as a player. I can't wait to see what me and him can do.

What other play makers do you see making an impact with you on the offense in Arizona?

I gotta go with my fellow wideouts, I think the three of us are EXTREMELY underrated as a group. Kendrick gets no respect, people say that he's "inactive" when he's easily over 200 TPE? AsylumParty is like the best fellow rookie ever, and yet I saw we were ranked as the next-to-last rated WR core. Not that preseason rankings mean anything, but what the hell.

Did you have an idea of where you were going to end up going into the draft?

I had a feeling it was going to be Yellowknife or Arizona, when Arizona selected Evans I kind of wasn't sure but it ended up all working out. I wish no harm to Yellowknife, Bzerkap was wonderful throughout the whole process. He will regret not choosing me though -- but that's alright.

Who do you think was the best pick in the S2 draft?

I have to say myself, it's all about that confidence.

What's the most exciting part of the NSFL year to you?

Honestly as this is my first season it's hard to get a gauge on it. All I know is I'm extremely excited for the start of the regular season. Almost as hard of a wait as the wait for the draft was.

What's the most helpful advice you've received during preparation for the college to NSFL transition?

Just to relax and enjoy the process and try to not rush anything. It got hairy on draft night but it all worked out and I'm in the right place.

What sets the Outlaws apart from other teams in the league?

The locker room. I'm convinced. It's such a team-first environment and all the players seem really easily approchable and fun to be around. It makes the process of being a rookie so much easier, and other teams in the NSFL should take note.
