Raphael d’Alcott has been working towards this season for his entire life and while he is grateful to Dallas for drafting him, he knows that the path ahead of him will not be easy.

After lengthy internal discussions and negotiations, the Dallas Birddogs management convinced Raphael that his talents would be better suited at the Safety position. It will be the first time in his entire life that he is on the defensive side of the ball but Dallas was sure that his natural athleticism and stature would make him one of the better defenders in the league with proper development.

Even though it is a position he is not familiar with, that doesn’t stop Raphael from dreaming big for not just himself but also for his team. When Dallas said that this was likely to be a building year, Raphael simply replied:

“You got a whole bunch of talent here, why not win your first Ultimini title now?”

That is the scale of which Raphael is dreaming. Just because he’s new to Safety doesn't mean that he won’t pursue the position to the best of his ability. Taking home defensive rookie of the year and possibly defensive player of the year as well would be great additions as well but Raphael’s main focus is to get the Dallas Birddogs to the Ultimini title. Ever since he started playing football, it's been his dream to win a title in front of his state, his home crowd… Now here is his chance to do it.

This season will be William Lim's rookie season in the NSFL, as he joins the Colorado Yeti afyer being selected in the third round of the draft by the team. William, however, is not very likely to be given a lot of receiving opportunities in the field this season as he is currently listed as the fourth wide receiver in the Yeti roster.
So, William's goal this season won't be about flashy stats and awards. Instead, his goals will be developing himself to excel in NSFL level competition, and moving up in the depth chart. In order to do that, he will need to put in some serious work. Even though he was regarded as one of the best wide receivers in this season's NSFL draft, William still need a lot of development to be called elite in NSFL levels. He will forst need to focus on improving his speed and catching ability, and then work on some details like strength, agility and endurance. How fast he develop in those fields will dictate how fast he will move up in the Yeti depth chart in future seasons. So, the two goals are kind of interconnected.
William comes to the NSFL as a underdog now, as he prepares himself for the challenge he faces to be a elite NSFL player. However, one day he will certainly sit on the pedestal of elite players. (232)

Season 22 of the Developmental Simulation Football League is fast approaching, and it cannot arrive sooner. I have been feeling a certain itch recently, and American football coming back will certainly scratch that itch. As far as goals go, I think there are three goals that I really want to achieve going into the next season. First and foremost, I want to win an Ultimini. Last year, the Norfolk Seawolves had their most winningest season in franchise history, yet unfortunately were knocked out of the conference championship game by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. This year, I want to go far further and take this team, which did incredibly well in the draft, and go all the way to the Ultimini, and head back with a ring. I definitely want to go to the pro bowl. I want to show this year, just how great of a quarterback I am, and getting to the pro bowl would really vindicate all the work that I have put in since I have been drafted. Finally, I want to win an award. Even getting shortlisted for offensive player of the year would be incredibly gratifying. That’s the most that I can think of for now, but I am hoping that I can end up with some great personal accolades, and a team that does incredibly well. Here’s hoping to go fourteen and zero.

After a mediocre rookie season, Dallas Birddog’s tight end Zee Rechs is looking to make his mark this season in the DSFL. After the departure of last season’s TE1 to the NSFL, Rechs is feeling the pressure to perform this season as the team’s new TE1.
Rechs’ primary goal for this season is improvement, both for himself and for his team. While it shouldn’t be too hard for the Birddogs to improve on last season’s dismal 5-9 record, Rechs is taking nothing for granted. The future is much brighter since the team has loaded up on young talent during the offseason and last year’s players have a full season of experience under their belts.
Another goal Rechs has for the season is to be more active in the Birddogs locker room. After last season, a number of players were quoted as saying “Zee Rechs, who?” This year, Rechs hopes to get to know his fellow players better and help mentor some of the new members of this year's Birddogs. When the season is over “team player” is how Rechs hopes to be remembered, by both his teammates and the rest of the DSFL.
Finally, Rechs hopes to prepare himself this season for moving up to the DSFL next season. After being drafted by the Yellowknife Wraiths during the offseason, Rechs has committed himself to grinding out that TPE, by hitting both the weight room and the books.

We all have dreams and goals we want to fulfill throughout our career. That said, my primary goal before the draft was, to get on a team with a cool locker room, somewhere I can feel like home. While this hope doesn't interfere with any personal records, another aspect does. The team that drafted you. Thus I love being in Sarasota on an expansion team now, there is kind a tough situation player wise to speak about records. First of all, our QB is on the weaker side compared to other game managers in the league, and furthermore, there are top wideouts already playing the same position as I do. I go into the season as clear number 3 in terms of wideouts, but that doesn't mean that I won't see the field. When I'm out there, I want to matter and help my team, be the best version of it in our inaugural season. There will be tough games, but I know that I am ready when season starts. Our common goal, for me as for the team, is, to leave a mark in the league, gain experience and grow stronger. We may not reach the playoffs, but we will fight for them. Just because we are an expansion team doesn't mean, we are fodder in this league. My goal as a player is, to show the best version of me in every single game and gain as much experience as possible. I want to be a better player at the end of the season than I am now.

So last season was my rookie campaign in the DSFL. It started off a little rocky, just getting used to the lay of the land and figuring everything out. Finally summoning the courage to ask for support was the best thing for my player. I'd like to say personal achievements this year. Will have to a gigantic improvement from last. I think I was in the mid thirties on tackles and only seven Pass Deflections and Zero Interceptions. This season I'm hoping to be seventy five- one hundred Tackles. Fifteen - twenty Pass Deflections and hopefully five plus interceptions. There's a little bit of pride on the line here as I can't use being new as a excuse anymore. It's put up or shut up time. San Jose drafted me for my potential and now it's time to show them a call up and the draft pick wasn't wasted.

Now I'm starting this season with the Minnesota Gray Ducks again (Quack, Quack!) And really excited about returning with the studs I played with last year, Mario, Jamar, Buck, Snow, Seb just to name a few. We've got a great group of rookies to mentor, some already showing great potential. Even a few that could be first round picks, if they continue to stay committed. With our leadership in the lockerroom and our GMs putting together a great game plan the Chip is coming back to Minnesota this year. That's the expectation for us returning. And that's they way it should be. Week one cant come soon enough.

Although I started most games in my rookie DSFL season, I would categorize it as a disappointment for me. I sat at 71 TPE for the entire season, because I was kind of inactive. Things have turned around recently for me. I’ve become much more active, and I’ve been progressing consistently now.

First and foremost, I’m hoping for an Ultimini for my Grey Ducks. I think we have the team for it, we’ll just have to see if we can put it all together. This could possibly be my last season in the DSFL, so it would be great to end on a good note with a trophy. I don’t know if my player is good enough to win any individual awards, so I’m just hoping for improvement across the board. I had 5 passes defensed last season, and I think that number could go way up this season. I had zero interceptions, so I’m really hoping that I can get that number up. Forcing turnovers are an absolute key to winning, and I want to help my team win. Hopefully, now that I’ve gotten my speed up a bit, I can help out a bit in the run game and rack up a few more tackles than the 30 that I had last season as well. If this ends up being my last season before getting called up, I want to leave the DSFL on a high note. Let’s make it happen Grey Ducks!

After being mentored by my RB teammates last season, Baby Yoda and Rick Skuff, I believe that Jamar Lackson is ready to take the next step to bringing Minnesota it's third Ultimini in four seasons. While I am not personally seeking anything other than a playoff appearance, leading the league in rushing yards is another big goal in mind. After seeing Acura Skyline rip through our defense on countless occasions last year, I hope to have a revenge tour of sorts, doing everything that is scarred into my memory by Skyline, and apply it to all the other teams who have doubted us. I believe this to be possible due to our great S23 draft that we just had, we bolstered our WR core with Tychondrius Hood, and Kai Sakura to help our developing QB Sim SnowBow transform his game into the best it possibly can, along with picking up two great offensive linemen to help push my rushing goals even closer to reality. The main goal overall is to turn around the very unlucky record we had last year, and prove to all of the league that the Minnesota GreyDucks are here to dominate the league, and bring home another Ultimini.
