Whichever side my team needs me on, I have no preference.
As has been stated many times in the NFL, you aren't a true shutdown corner unless you follow the other team's best WR. Do you subscribe to that notion?
I mean this is the NSFL, not the NFL. But I guess to a degree I agree with that statement. It's worth noting that this is a team game after all.

I'd like to think my mentor Dirk and I are of similar ability. Obviously I wouldn't be where I am right now without him and his help. I believe the feeling is mutual and we both compliment each other as opposed to compete against.
How do you and cutter push each other to be better?
Generally we strive to just put in the work needed to improve. There's no power ballad's playing in the background following one of us one upping each other in a montage. Eat clean, lift heavy and share the spoils.
How do you feel about the new additions to the secondary?
Obviously I'm ecstatic, as is everybody on the team. We got an incredible pickup in Kevin Cushing, Rafael Reyes and Marcus Kane on defense. Regardless of last years performance, we can safely say we have the best defense.

Was it relaxing knowing that your draft day was already settled and every other rookie in the class was on pins and needles waiting to find out where they were falling?
Funny question actually, I did feel the pins and needles that rookies felt yesterday. Just it wasn't about my draft position, it was about my good friend Torque's. We both happened to be at the same table in the green room. His draft stock kept falling to a point where I honestly thought he wouldn't get drafted, thankfully he did.
There's a discussion on talk radio that you're not really a rookie, considering you played pretty much an entire season last year. What do you tell those who feel that you should be considered a veteran because of your experience in the league about your rookie status?
Was I drafted last year? No. Was I drafted this year? Yes. What am I? A rookie.
I don't usually dwell on these sort of issues but I'll address it once and for all. Why are people angry about the waiver system? Jealousy, after all why should I be punished just because I put in the necessary work for the draft last year while some lagged behind. I honestly believe if some people put more time into training instead of moaning about where they wanna go, then they'd be the #1 pick. Now people are trying to claim they're my rival? Who are you man? To be a rival you gotta be at least in the same planet as me, get on my level man. Love me or hate me buddy, it's still an obsession.
This league has a lot of great receivers, some whom were drafted today. What receivers after you looking most forward to covering? Is there anyone last season who beat your coverage that you can't wait to line up against again?
It's true the league has a lot of great receivers, even more since the draft occurred. I like to focus on my teams goals as opposed to individual matchups, I don't remember who burns me, who I intercept or who gets frustrated, I see it as a win or a loss at the end of the day.
