I agree with p much everything said here. That's awesome to hear! And I'm glad to know at least one person agrees with me. RE: Fire Salamanders? Really? - The_Kidd - 09-05-2020 I cant shake the old NFL Europe team, Rhein Fire (fun fact, Terry Crews played for them), whenever I see this new name. I'm indifferent on the name, I do agree that perhapsĀ German lexicon would have been much more appealing to others and for branding. Personally, I would have did something like Stuttgart Scharwzwald but that's me being nostalgic to old 2nd gen video games RE: Fire Salamanders? Really? - Raven - 09-05-2020 Pretty much agreed, minus ny RE: Fire Salamanders? Really? - OrbitingDeath - 09-05-2020 Agree with the Berlin part as well, it just doesnt sound right RE: Fire Salamanders? Just to double down, I really like the sound Berlin Feuergeist honestly. Whatever Dewalt and High do, I sincerely hope they put their team name in German. I just don't think a Berlin team would have an English nickname. Plus if they do that I'm pretty sure their team name would become the Berlin Feuer Feuergeist and at that point you'd pretty much have to reconsider what you're doing. RE: *Fire Salamanders? Really? - indonesianhusker - 09-05-2020 Should've named the team Berlin Blitzkriegs.... RE: *Fire Salamanders? I retract all of my negative statements about this brand and will go away now |
