Do it without giving yourself unilateral power through that "reserve the right to change blah blah blah" clause and make all of the positions elected and I will reconsider. Otherwise I see one master and his puppets.

Well then you obviously haven't read half of what I have been saying. Reserving the right to change duties and responsibilities, such as maintaining records of what we talk about? How is that unilateral power at all. I literally JUST said to others that I would have almost NO power in regard to ANY situation. That's literally what this association is about. Its a TITLE, we need somebody to just start the conversation, be the representative of the PA.
I am open to having an election for positions, I am just explaining why an election is not needed for the CEO position. You're disrespecting me, my word, and my idea by claiming that in any way I am trying to give myself power over anybody. There is no "Master and puppets", its the opposite of what's trying to get done here and if you don't see that, then fine by me. Suit yourself.

Honestly I'm going to side with @timeconsumer on this one. If our player association, whose mission is to represent the interests of the players, has a self-appointed CEO who takes genuine feedback from the players that he's representing this personally and defensively that's a bit of a red flag tbh

I think a union would be great, but with one all-powerful person in charge it could only cause trouble. Run the union like player unions are actually run: a representative from each team voted on by each player who then vote among eachother for who among them will be the leader. GM's won't be involved (because duh, it's a union) and anyone holding a head office position is also disqualified.
There's no such thing as a CEO for a union. There are "executive directors" but there should never be one guy in charge of everything. You are representing players who may not believe that your representation is in their best interest. So I'm all for a union, but if we run it the way you want it, it'll be a clown show.

I never took anybody's opinion and feedback personally or defensively until he said that I am trying to become a Master and have puppets and want to have unilateral power. That's literally the opposite of "Genuine". When I explicitly stated before that none of that is the case.
Now, I have no problem with there being an election man. I was just stating why I believe an election is un-necessary.
So my question to you is...what red flag are you seeing? Just genuinely curious.
